  1. Homecoming, you all rock! Thanks for the financial update, and for running the game so damn well!😎!😀
  2. Titan weapons/Bio might be the highest dpm, but it's clunky as hell to use and your resistance values (when using Defensive Adaptation) are compromised to increase your damage output (Offensive Adaptation). Next to TW, I think Dark Melee or War Mace, paired with Radiation Armor or Shield Defense would be the strongest, highest damage, easy to solo builds. The de-buffing effects and increased recharge rate, coupled with the regen and great endurance, puts Rad very close to SD in terms of damage output. Shield's slightly higher damage output is balanced by its vulnerability to defense debuffs and no heal power, but both make soloing a breeze for a Melee toon, even before incarnates.
  3. Server status shows a fair bit of activity. Maybe they are changing the login manifest for some reason?
  4. I was just on test trying out the changes to the Dark Melee set. One word: Excellent!! The AOEs, especially Dark Consumption finally feel like they are making a damage impact rather than just, very infrequently, filling your Endurance bar. I wish that Siphon Life healed better per activation, but I LOVE the changes to Shadow Maul!! Changing the arc to 120 degrees and upping the max enemies hit potential was genius. The greater enemy coverage and shorter activation time makes this a power I would now respec into on live. Great addition to the pool powers as well, with Experimentation. All the naysayers must have limited experience with DM; how could anyone with experience and a love of this set dislike any of the changes? It's beyond me.... Great job guys!! DEPLOY THIS PATCH!! 🤩
  5. The taunt aura bug....It's fixed!! Beautiful patch!! My Fire Aura toons work properly again! Thanks Homecoming team!! You guys and gals are the best!🥰
  6. Yes, I was just on Pineapple yesterday and provided some test feedback, thank you. I’ve removed many of my past comments on this thread. I wasn’t trying to piss off any of the great Homecoming team. I was just meaning to have a productive dialogue and exchange of ideas on this bug. Overall, It was a great, very important patch! Keep up the good work guys!
  7. I don’t understand the antagonism. The community members affected by this almost unanimously proclaim the bug is intolerable. Of course, there are always those who are born contrarians and will find inane counter-arguments for everything, just because. It’s an acknowledged bug in the patch, they are working on it, testers including me are providing feedback to the developers. It will be resolved I’m sure, but none too soon, IMO.
  8. I concur with many of you. On my SS/Fire Brute I still have to delay-toggle my Blazing Aura, in mission, before it will taunt mobs, show up in my Combat Log and hold baddies in my Burn patch. 😉
  9. I actually haven't tested any of the fixes on the Pineapple shard. The patch changes that that caused this need to be reversed.; an "incremental fix" would simply be insufficient. My fire aura Brutes/Tanks are quite broken. I Lightening Rod into a group of 20 lvl 54 mobs, kill most of the minions,, lay a Burn Patch, and the remaining baddies scatter. At one point, I was literally standing alone waiting for baddies to come back to fight, and I counted them as they returned....8 came back. If I killed 8 LR'ing into that mob, leaving 12 alive, and 8 scattered after I dropped the burn patch, that's 8/12 or at least 67% of the mobs are fleeing. I have lost 25% efficiency in "arresting mobs", at a minimum! There are lots of very frustrated people right now. 😠 Firey Aura is perhaps the "squishiest" of the defense sets. That's why it has more AOE damage so you can withstand the onslaught of the mobs as successfully as the other sets (almost). If this was meant to make the AI behaviour closer to real-life, you may have succeeded to some extent, but the power set's "balance" was broken in the process. Most people who play Brutes and Tanks expect to hold aggro on themselves. Without that ability, the Brute's Fury bar takes a hit. In a full team instance, scattering mobs are far more likely to attack the squishies in their path, and the groups' overall efficiency and XP per min will diminish as well. Please put it back the way it was, the way it's meant to be. Listening to the community is one of Homecoming's greatest strengths. Thanks very much for everything you all do. We know and appreciate that you are trying to do positive things for the game we all love! Peace! ✌️
