It resets all your power cooldowns.  ALL of them, including accolade and incarnates, if I'm not mistaken.  Unless you're asking if there's a time lockout between changing builds.  I know when I change at a trainer It tells me I have to wait if I try to change too soon or pick the wrong one.  Maybe 60 seconds, not 100% sure.

     

    Edit:  wiki says 

    • Builds can be changed once every 15 minutes.

     

    So maybe not as meta as I had envisioned, if true.

  2. I sort of meant to have build three specifically for PVP, but I never really got too interested in that after the changes in i13 made PVP such a different animal.    

     

    Currently build one is my "master" top of the line build.  I tend to lean towards roleplay, so a lot of themes blend together.  For example, my Scrapper has Mu Mastery and Ion Judgment.  If I wanted, I could do Blaze Mastery and Pyronic.  Or Mace Mastery and Arachnos Lore.  I could use build two to expand to a different theme or even a different role.  I could build it to be a little beefier for off-tanking, or I could use build two in a "Scraptinel" fashion and max out some ranged attacks from the epic pool and hover around blasting in large groups where my melee DPS isn't vital.  I just think it's awesome to have options.

     

    And although I haven't ever gotten to it yet, I always considered playing a Kheldian, with Build 1 being Human, Build 2 being Nova, and Build 3 being Dwarf.  I figure with the ability to swap builds with a macro, that'd be some meta-level tri-forming.

So you could use this with Fly and sort of mimic jump pack?  Set it to your jump button and when you hold it down you go up, and when you let it go you drop.  Or a bunch of other things.  Nice.  Or your forward button turns on a movement power, and when you let it go to stop moving it turns off.  Dope.

For me, the Aracknight is really the only role I can slip into.  On the surface, he's just an old school MA/SR Scrapper doing MA/SR Scrapper things.  But his eyes were the first eyes to see Atlas Park back in I8.  His eyes were my last eyes to see sunset.  And his were the first eyes to see the sun rise over Atlas Park once more with Homecoming.  At over 1500 badges he's done so much, and with each issue there's more for him to do.  With each new power set or pool modification and easy respec access, there's more for him to try.  With each new invention set comes endless tweaking, pushing him to the absolute edge of performance.  With so many costumes and builds available, he can carry around an Arachnos mace and summon Arachnos pets to fight alongside him, or he can toss lightning and ion judgment, or various sized fireballs around.  I can create three different builds with different concepts or specializations, like PVP, if I ever actually become interested in it.    I think Bill Z framed it best, that Aracknight's love and contributions to the game are the best version of Me that I can bring to Paragon.  I can tweak for pylon times.  I can tweak for taking on AV's.  I don't need to post all my results, because it's really just Aracknight vs Aracknight, which is the most Scrapper thing I can even conceptualize.

     

    I've tried the alt game, but I could never slip my mind inside any other toon for more than a little while.  The best I've been able to manage is various MA/SR ported archetypes: Tank, Brute, and Stalker, and they're all pretty similar but give me options.  I haven't been fortunate or personally vulnerable enough to make actual friends in the game that might need the Aracknight to serve more than one purpose on the regular, but please don't think that's about the population, that's about me.  I'm not even in a supergroup, I just PUG or solo my @$$ off and it's let him earn all those badges I mentioned earlier just fine, Including several Mo's (even Keyes!)

     

    One day I might get into AE, and create an Aracknight origin story, or an Aracknight Task Force, and that's cool to have as an option too.  Regrettably someone nicked his name on the roleplay server and seems to have vanished, so he hangs out on Excelsior and gets into whatever nonsense he can there, but roleplaying would be ideal.  I'm endlessly grateful that he can continue his adventures.

  6. I like the weapon-free options for Stone Melee.  More customization is always better.

     

    I think the logical next questions are (with standard code rant and volunteer time restraints already inherently understood): 

     

    1) can we get weapon free versions for the other sets that have random swords (Fire, Ice, PSI)

    2) can we get weapon ONLY versions where weapon attacks are options for non-originally weapon attacks (An all fire sword option for Fiery Melee, for example).

    Well I usually rock infilitration two slotted with winter's gift and sprint with the stealth IO, which makes me pretty undetectable.   The running speed is a little too much though, I'm SR and with Infiltration and Sprint running, I'm at the old speed cap of 92 mph running, which is hard for me to control.  I thought it was cool to be at the old run speed cap without super speed, but it's not cool after all.  It's a bit too fast for me tactically.  I guess the option of putting the stealth IO in Infitlration exists, and turning off Sprint would probably save me some END.

     

    But it's the old speed cap!  lol.

I like the jumping mini-game too.  I started with super jump, then I used Ninja Run, and now I use Infiltration, and learning how to time, angle, and understand hitting your landing target is something I've spent idle hours on over the years.  There's something just lovely about hopping from rooftop to rooftop in King's Row or parts of Peregrine Island.  Especially when you land behind an unsuspecting sniper with Crane Kick queued up....

     

    I actually may strip out Winter's Gift from Infiltration and just put in a jump set.  I'm re-learning why I turned off speed boost at null the gull.  I seem to have lots of trouble maneuvering about at high running speeds.  Sure it's nice traveling between missions, but in caves and tight office spaces, I suck at it.

    Does this mean that the resistance kicks in faster?  If so: Awesome.  Then the oft-overlooked second trick our pony does just got better. 

     

    Can we consider adding the PVP Toxic resistance to PVE also, and with bated breath, PSI damage too?

    Kalinda sighed, looking at the fallen Fortunata at her feet. The fifth or sixth this week. They had all been assigned to work on Project: DESTINY, but something was now horribly wrong. As they would attempt to gaze into the near future, they'd instantly cry in pain and fall dead, with only a bare scrap of information shared among their psychic link before they were cut off.
