I kind of like the idea of the taunt being replaced with a ranged attack that fits the power type (fire, ice, energy, a rock, whatever) with the taunt added in.  Maybe scrappers could get an ST version, brutes a Cone, and Tankers a TAOE?  Obviously not a nuke but a little something damagy could be nice.

I have Martial Arts and Super Reflexes on a Scrapper, Brute, Stalker, and Tanker.  I've been playing this pairing since before alignment switching was allowed, the Scrapper and the Stalker on live.  They all have similar builds when possible.

 

For the record, while tanking is a new (for me) playstyle and Bruting is....interesting, I still like the Scrapper best.

Okay, so if it has zero gameplay impact, is it ok?  

 

We have armorless (minimal fx) armor defense options that i can turn off without changing gameplay, ice and bio spring to mind.  So if an armor power can exist without, you know, the armor appearing, why can we not have a form power without the form appearing?  

 

I understand protectiveness of lore, but if my scrapper can use boxing (or storm kick gut punch animation) to mimic radiant strike, and laser beam eyes, with the halloween costume to walk and act like a kheldian, and it has zero impact, why does this suggestion seems so harmful?

Tangental q that may have been asked but missed by me: how do the tier 3 prestige costumes that add the peacebringer and warshade eye and bubble auras to *any* character change the various perspectives on what should and shouldnt be allowed for the sake of customization, if at all?

Huh.  Ten could mean one per costume slot.  Different build for each costume? It'd also be an inf sink.  I'm suddenly very in favor of ten.

Wow.  Outside the character creator, roofhopping my way through Paragon is the best part of the game for me.  I actually find it weird that even after raising some of the old travel speed caps that people prefer instant transport methods.  Don't get me wrong,  i understand speed runs are a different thing, but using TT to go from one door mission to another in the same zone seems a bit wasteful.

 

Tldr:  the limit does not exist.  I love roofhopping.

Any way we can get an optional second animation for grenade powers like Web Grenade, et al?  Maybe something less throwy and more shooty?  I feel like something like the options offered for quick snipe powers could be "close enough" in animation time to not look too janky.  These add a feeling of "recoil" too.
