I like how the OP from 3 years ago mentions the looming nerf to Bio Armor that never happened.

Sorry, I misread.

Alright, so I pushed a build with Psi/Ninja/Electric masteries. It looks like if you use a (7)-(22)-1-4-6-1-4-20 rotation with Electric Mastery you will see the highest dps. Or 1-4-6/20. However you want to phrase it. If you slot Havoc Punch with a Force Feedback, and it procs, it will be a gapless rotation. Otherwise Havoc Punch will have around a 0.69 gap, then it will get longer as Ageless wears off.
Mental Blast over TK blast? Unless you're just truly averse to smashing damage I don't understand that one.

It's non-functional.

If you're in my sheet, click the hamburger on the bottom left and that will show you all the hidden sheets. If you click on Rack and Stack it will bring up the final dps for all the builds I have made a sheet for, which includes the rotations used. I only made builds with secondaries that contained a damage boosting mechanic.
How do I actually interpret 3-4-20-21-6-(1)-(7)?
I know what abilities those mean, but is that the one time rotation?

Electric would be right around Cold for much the same reason: lack of a decent backup to its primary attack.
You don't seem to have used Tesla Cage in your spreadsheet despite it having the 2nd highest DPA.

Why Cross Punch in so many of these? Most of these attack chains can be executed just subtracting it.
-
Electric?
-
I don't suppose any comprehensive analysis of all the primaries sim out with this to see how they all rank?

Fire Blast / Radiation Armor Trapdoor Test - 4:12
Fire Blast / Bio Pylon Test - 1:34How do you actually build either of those?

yes.

Short and long answer, no. There's no way to do so reliably. It's random.

You don't want this. It's too easy for a mob to fall into some unreachable place.
Maybe you want a kill some percentage, but not a kill all.

Damage procs, Rage, and Rad Armor attacks are going to be nerfed. Stone Melee, Titan Weapons, and Dual Blades will be getting more defense debuffs.
I don't want it, you don't want it, but our opinions do not matter.
Those things are currently allowing farming 20% faster than the next best thing. The devs have declared war on that.

A LOT of people play their Blasters like always at range unless the enemies are able to close. A LOT of people try their best to keep their Blasters out of melee range at all times. Hover blasting is a thing, perhaps you've heard of it. Even my Archmage, an Incarnate Fire/Fire/Fire Blaster with 32% Range Defense, stays out of melee most of the time. And believe me, she wipes out entire spawns in seconds.
You're doing that all without Inferno, huh? Let's see the build capable of wiping out spawns in seconds without it.

they stick 100% at range.
There's no such thing, and after 18 years, people should really stop saying that.

That's a very good description of the Sentinel problem.
-
According to the spreadsheet, I can come up with a Sentinel that does about half of the dps as my Blaster.

I'm at 3:30 on Rad/Fire Brute and 5:00 on Rad/SS Tank.

Page 5 changes up.
So, what'd numbers actually turn into? Non-dumpster fire?

Imagine Rad/Fire brutes aren't the go-to for AFK farming anymore. And there's probably better stuff to active farm with now. S/L farming with rad armor might be a better option now.
That's not very logical. Rad armor can already cap out against Fire easier than against S/L, so if Rad Armor were more dps than Fire armor, it would have already been the choice.

<-- I'm not a farmer but,
You're almost certainly experiencing a cascade defense failure. Fire Armor has no DDR.
Add 4 (or more to your fire defense). Assuming you initially had floored their final hit chances (soft capped defense) they had roughly 1 in 20 to land the hit with the debuff. Adding the debuff amount (or slightly more) means you'll still be capped vs the next attack. In turn this means you've just bumped the odds of getting debuffed below the cap to 1 in 400 provided both blows land within the debuffs duration (10 seconds). Bump it up another 4% or so add now the odds are about 1 in 8000. The more buffer the more times they have to land a hit to potentially start a cascade failure which is the real concern here (especially with non-AFK farming)
You may need slightly more than 4% increases because of the Purple Patch. +4 foes are likely debuffing more like 6% so you'd need roughly 6% bumps in defense to help prevent cascade failure. The Purple Patch does not effect the duration of the debuff only its strength.
It's actually better to give bosses Build Up than any of the sword powers. The damage gained is trivial, it's only active 25% of the time, and it still leaves a low chance to hit.
Even just giving them Fire Sword Circle, the worst of the sword powers, will still murder your on occasion.

Ok, problem sort of solved. It only shows 100% at 50, it's not showing up to 54.
Add Build Up instead of any sword to bosses. It's less egregious.

Still something that will only happen after the proc nerf, which will only happen after the Earth cools down.
