Froggy parts - I think?
Her backstory goes something like this: A mad scientist found the sentient spells that caused the Ten Plagues. The scientist bonded these spells to physical bodies.
I hope that makes some sense. 😁

Welp. It's Thursday and I'm still struggling to come up with an idea. So I wrote a couple more sentences! (Hooray?)

There was a twinge of pain in Marilyn's left ear. It felt as if she had a column of air rammed into her eardrum. That's the second time today, she thought. Now is not the time for practical jokes! She gave Annabel her best you'd-better-knock-it-off-or-else face, then turned her attention back to the conversation.
"I wonder where those two girls ran off to?" sang Ms. Pal. The cooler glugged as the teacher poured herself a cup of water.
"Funny you should ask," the voice called George replied. Clomp, clomp, creak! A shadow passed over the girls.
Marilyn looked up. A man in a purple suit was staring at them. He shifted his crutches to his left side, then extended his hand. "I'm Mr. Kyonshi," he said. "I'll be your principal here at S.A.G.E."
Note: Sorry it's so short today. Hopefully, I'll be more warmed up by tomorrow!

A few nights ago, I was RPing as one of my favorite characters, Dr. Joseph Schmoe. I like to think of him as a chaotic neutral guy, but I made him say something that could only be construed as evil. (More specific details in the spoiler.) What do you guys do when your character does something uncharacteristic? How do you take back control?

SpoilerOkay, so Joe Schmoe is part of a group of incompetent villains. He's a mad scientist who thinks Arachnos are the good guys and that the Paragons are in league with the 5th Columnists. Also, he's obsessed with monsters.
Anyway, our GM assigned each of us a lecture topic for a hero convention in a third world country. (The story line is complicated.) Dr. Schmoe was assigned the topic Doomsday Weapons on a Budget: A Practical Approach. At the time, I was thinking, Oh, no! My character carries an assault rifle, but he knows practically nothing about weapons! So, I had my character mutter, "You don't need doomsday weapons when you've got human sacrifice." After I typed it in, I realized that was way darker than I envisioned my character. I want him to make tinfoil hats, not war!

SpoilerQ: Does Marilyn know or think she has special abilities?
SpoilerI don't think so, no. If anything, she would probably think her "detect undead" power was a survival skill, like learning to start a fire without matches or how to tell which berries are poisonous. She's gotten better at it over time; she used to have to say, "Greetings, Kindred," just like she told Marilyn. I think she will soon realize that not just anyone can do it.
And the voices? Those are totally new.
Q: Annabel made a lot of assumptions when she saw Marilyn. At what point might she start asking questions, because she was clearly so excited about where Marilyn is from? Or, what would need to happen to spur questions?
SpoilerI really want them both to sit down and have a nice, long chat. I think they both need to be trapped somewhere for a couple hours for that to happen, though. I keep coming up with exciting things to throw at them.
I think I'll lock them in a supply closet at Pocket D. It'll have nothing in it except industrial grade cleaner and a mop bucket. That should get them talking about things! Muahahahaha!
Q: Is Marilyn the least little bit curious about Annabel? Like, why does she think she is a vampire, or why does she love vampires so much? I know I'm curious!
SpoilerIf Marilyn is curious about anything, it's probably how someone related to the Lovecrafts could be so naive about the supernatural. Also, why are they only meeting now? Why did no one tell Marilyn that she had an aunt?
As for the second part of the question, I'm not sure if you're asking why Marilyn thinks Annabel thinks she's a vampire, or just why Annabel is so fascinated by them. I'll answer both!
1. Marilyn thinks Annabel has watched too many Twilight movies.
2. Annabel, who wouldn't touch Twilight with a ten foot pole, doesn't just love the bloodsuckers because they're glamorous. To her, vampires represent a sense of community and shared goals. What's mind control, if not making someone your friend? Hiding from the sun, if not foiling a common enemy? Drinking blood, if not - okay, that part's just gross. You get the picture!
Q: So far, there seem to have been quite a few supernatural occurrences around these girls...or perhaps just around Marilyn? If so, is she used to that? If not, why now?
SpoilerMarilyn's Arkham is inspired by H. P. Lovecraft's Arkham. Back home, there's always something supernatural lurking beneath the veneer of normalcy. That church over there could be a meeting place for cultists. That trendy restaurant could be a front for the Necromancer's Mafia. That "Save the Manatees" club at Miskatonic University? They probably eat mermaids for breakfast.
Annabel, on the other hand, has very little experience with the supernatural. Every Future Midnighters of America meeting was basically a class on why different mythological phenomena don't exist. Annabel made quite the fuss about that. She wanted some action!
Q: This school, why are they there? Apparently they are not college age, so it must be a boarding school. Why this school? Or, if it's not the school, most kids don't go to boarding school, how is it these two wound up there? Is the school special in some way?
SpoilerThis school, SAGE, is an experimental girls' boarding school. (I'm still trying to figure out how. I know they give their students a lot of freedom. Maybe they don't have a curriculum or letter grades.) Annabel, Marilyn, and Co. make up its very first class. Only a select number of students were chosen to attend. I'm not sure how Marilyn found out about it. I guess a teacher back in Arkham got hold of a pamphlet somewhere and encouraged her to sign up. I think Annabel was invited.

Thanks, @Dacy! I'm having trouble getting the words to come out today. I wrote an outline for the rest of the scene, though!

"It sounds like my grandma's walker," Annabel replied with a shrug. Clomp, clomp creak! The noises grew louder still. Annabel crossed her arms and sighed. "I wish they would cut it out," she said in annoyance.
Marilyn nodded. Suddenly, the lights went out. A computer on the reception desk provided a tiny bit of illumination.
"If someone is trying to scare us, it isn't working," said Annabel. Her wide eyes and trembling knees, however, said that she was a little creeped out. The pair ducked beneath the desk - just in case.

I'm making a family tree for Marilyn and Co. using a nifty site called Plum Tree App. It's meant for Sims 4 legacies, but it's the only tree maker I've found for fictional people. Using a real tree maker just doesn't seem right to me. 🤷♀️
Anyway, you can add pictures of your sims, so I figured I might as well practice my digital art skills. That way, the portraits match!
EDIT: I did the lines for another one, too! It has shading!

*I think it might be kinda cool to play her as more of an anti-hero. This character's look is inspired by Liliuokalani, the last Hawaiian monarch. She is remembered for her valiant efforts to keep Hawaii's independence.

I made a slasher of sorts...it's kinda gruesome. He's a scrapper with titan weapons / bio armor.
