I'm a slow player. I mostly solo. I really enjoy setting my movement to walk and just wandering around the city. But, doing this puts me in danger since I can't initiate combat while walking. It's like resting. Is there a reason we can't walk and fight? I mean, is it hard to program in that combination?(I'm a neo-luddite, i know nothing about code) I think it would it would look pretty badass to set my stone Melee to walk and just Saunter up and casually mallet a skull. A slow moving, lazy combat that looks like the hero has no fear of losing would be so amusing.

Do minions attack from air if you group fly them?

How do you feel about Necro/Traps? Sending a zombie into a room with a bomb strapped to it sounds fun.

I've got a beast that I really like but I just borked her base and am trying to resolve the disaster.

I don't know how long ago this sort of thing has been asked but it's the kind of question I feel should be thrown out there once a year or so just to get a feel for trends. Which is your personal favorite set? I assume many of the players here have run through Multiple combinations before settling on a favorite to go long with. Who constitutes your personal favorite cadre of minions or miscreants? What makes them your favorite? Is it the aesthetic? Maybe a specific set synergy? or Perhaps a deep psychological desire to lord over that specific type of critter until it sacrifices itself in your name? Who is your army?

Dr. Artemis Stephens would love to join your company. As a roboticist and engineer, he'd fit right in.

some questions about /marine with a few different pet types

Mer-Man (He-Man franchise) -
What is it based on? Can it be boosted? Which pets have the most base HP? I'm trying to build the biggest batch of walking bricks I can, Thoughts, opinions?

"This alone rules out bio. Bio is not a passive regen armor set." I was wondering how it mathed out. Bio has some passive stuff but wasn't sure that it was enough to overtake WP. If I can switch from dark to another melee, Ideally I'd probably go Rad so that I can amuse myself by just walking into mob nests and letting my damage aura do all the work.

That's 3 and me for 4 which is a good place to start. How is everyone for starting on the 11th at 3pm with shiny new level 1 rejects?

I've always been a tank player. Ever since my first Paladin in FFXI, making enemies mad and then laughing at their weak attempts to hurt me makes me happy. My power fantasy is the Unkillable archetype. The Deadpool, Wolverine, grow back faster than you can hurt me types are my favorites. I've been brewing a build since OG COH to use IO sets to reach maximum HP and regen rate. I got close with WIllpower/SS back in the day. I've been looking over other combinations to reach this and I'm trying to decide if Bio Armor would work better than Willpower. I'm also considering using Dark melee instead of SS so I can 2 slot a ton of Dark Watchers for the HP boosts. I'm going for completely passive regen, that's why I didn't use Regeneration. I want to just grow back faster than the damage can come in. Most player focus on DPS. My goal is to min/max my passive healing to the point where I never need to be healed. I won't be able to solo any TFs with this, but I will also be the most absorbent tank any team has ever had. Anyone have any thoughts on the Bio v Wpr?

I get that. I only have one Yellow in my batch. He's one of my highest level but at some point the challenges outpaced his ability to solo. I've never been much for PUGs because they usually speed run, I'm just not that kind of player. I like doing stuff like Teleporting enemies one by one from a group and smashing them when they least expect it.

I Want to start a static. I have no real consideration for party balance or DPS competitions. Play what you want. I just wanna run through the actual content with a group of Chill Dudes and Dudettes. Voice Comms would be preferred. We'd make a character dedicated to the static and only level them together. We'd assemble each Sunday evening, 3-7pm EST, I'm in Georgia(?) The downtime between games will be for leveling, crafting, and shopping so that we don't bog down game times. I'm thinking Torchbearer for the server because of the lighter load. Whether Hero, Villain, or Praetorian remains to be decided by the players, Vote in your reply. The first game would be building, discussing, and running the tutorial, more if there's time. Who's down to play a regular game?

How do you feel about Sundays?

I made a post about this a few days ago and there were a couple of interested parties so I thought I'd make a detailed official recruitment post. Static: (N) A group of characters who only level as a group during the designated time. (vaguely) We'd only gain experience during the designated times as a group. Downtime between games can be used for all the crafting and commerce so we're not having any session where everyone has to stop and buy stuff. Times: Friday or Sunday nights(Based on which has the most available players), 3pm-6ish(Depends on how we feel) pm EST. Server: I was thinking one of the lower population servers. I may be wrong but I think Torchbearer is often on a light load. Chat: We'd use Discord for voice comms. I have a server for TMNT that I can offer up for this. Goal: To run the content at a regular pace. At least be able to read the paragraphs and watch the tiny cut scenes. I'm not looking for a speedrun smash and grab experience. Totally fine with being efficient, I just don't care about run times and dps outputs. I also don't want to AE power level. Characters: The character you bring to the group should be your character for the static until we all reach level 50. I don't think the players should discuss their characters before making. I wanna see what kind of chaos gets slopped into the mix. Not at all looking for a balanced party. If it ends up being all defenders, we'll be fine. all Masterminds might crash a few computers though. My only request is to make everyone laugh. The characters should be funny in some way(Not offensive, this is a family show). Make Memes if you want. Streaming: I don't plan to unless I get a good hardware upgrade but if anyone in the group wanted to I wouldn't object. Any interested parties just reply below. We can arrange a first session time and get everyone invited to the discord once we have enough players(I'm thinking 4 would be a fine place to start). We can spend the time leading up to tutorial day deciding what kind of jokes we will make.

A Static for leisure and a bit of the absurd.

That's fair. Once We figure out the server, you could still make a toon for the SG and play if you ever had the opportunity if you so desired. -

MY thoughts thusfar I can do pretty much any one day of the week. The best hours for me would be some block of time between 3pm-9pm EST(Georgia). I wouldn't want to run more than 3-4 hours in any single session. As for number of Players, I guess it wouldn't matter. We can always add more over time. With the level matching we can power up a newbie. Streaming: I don't plan to but if someone did want to record, I wouldn't care. Discord for voice chat. We'd play the same character every time, and only play that character with the group. We'd progress through the content, as many regular missions and plot lines as possible at a digestible pace. Not speed running but just being heroes at a heroes pace. More Luke Cage, Less Barry Allen. Pretty much any character would work. I'm not worried about a "balanced party". If we end up with a mighty horde of defenders, so be it. My only Caveat to that is, it would be awesome if the characters were funny. They don't have to be, but the universe really wants them to be. What server would this work best on? Anyone wanna hash out the details? -
I want to put together a static party, a group that convenes at certain times and only levels the member character with the group. Kind of like doing a D&D thing. The group would communicate via discord voice. ie Every Sunday these five characters log on from 3-7 to go through the content but not speedrunning everything. Absentees don't matter as much because we can level adjust to keep people from getting left behind if they have to miss. My mind keeps suggesting a group of all Tankers/Brutes with damage auras cranked to maximum just walking around letting things fall down around them as they look for clues. But that's just me, I'm silly. I'd love to see a bunch of B-tier characters, a Mystery Men type of group. I'm looking for a leisure, not anxiety. Anyone else thing this sounds like fun?
