Abandoned Sewers Trial - 11/5/2022 "Robots Against Hydras" The Theme Team is back in action after skipping the month of October. We did two runs of this trial, first as robots or in robot costumes. For the most part, I had a great time in Halloween event 2022. I was able to salvage the final days with the constant ToTing league at the PI motel. I took inventory today of my productivity. I was able to get the 5 new badges on 15 characters, 10 of those being older characters who already had the full set of Halloween badges from prior years. I had planned to server-jump to partake in some Kane trials and banner events, but I never had time for that at all. So I did none of those. For the culmination I visited the Knight Cave, the base for Street Knights SG, with Lady Longfang, who got a nice "treat" from @TraumaTrain. I got to hang out with @Bananiac and @Jaxman100 and @Burnt Umber but I don't think I ever found the secret room, despite being told that I "flitted" in and out of the doorway. 😄 Here are some photos of us in the Cave: Lady couldn't resist trying out the fighter jet

I'm going to spend as much time as I can in-game today. I missed the first couple of weeks of the event due to being too BUSY in real life 😮 so I have not been as immersed as usual in the event.

Thank you @Bananiac for sharing the mini-theme. I got your messages the next time I logged in. I regret not being able to make it last weekend. My life is all topsy-turvy right now! 😄 After we got back from our hurricane evacuation last week, I came home with a flu or something and was feeling poorly all week, which of course caused me to be behind in everything... all my work projects and household duties and whatnot. I'm catching up this week and feeling terrrific! I still haven't had time to play any Halloween event, but it's on my horizon!

I was just reading about 2022 Halloween event. Who is excited?! (besides me?) There are even some new badges. That means all my characters who thought they were retired from Halloween event have to come back out! Love it! 😊 Since we don't have any official Theme Team event this Saturday, maybe we could do an informal Halloween rendez-vous on Saturday at noon EST. Who's in?

Yep, we dodged another bullet. A lot of power outages and tree branch debris. My son and I made a trip out of the evacuation. 5 hours north of us, where he has a lot of friends. We had a great time. I was driving all day Saturday, that's why I couldn't join the symphony.

Thanks. We were very very fortunate. Just 100 miles to the south of us, Fort Myers took a direct hit. The area is devastated with flooding and wind damage. So much destruction and lost lives. Which AF base? Eglin?

I would definitely be interested in that. I'll see how my travels go. I evacuated Tampa for Hurricane Ian, so I'm 5 hours from home in a hotel. I'll stay here a couple more days so I'll either be here or home if I can join you, and the only way I would miss it is if I'm on the road. Will update here once I know more. thanks for offering to do a thing!

Ractespriel Trial - Spy costume theme - Any AT Saturday, 9/24/2022 Sadly, I did not get any shots of any backstories today. So I apologize for that, especially if you wrote a cool story customized for the spy theme. Please send me a screenshot if you like, and I will edit your photo to include it. Hope you enjoy these photos of the ridiculously easy trial today, and the subsequent Caleb spawn and defeat. What a dazzling display of visual effects and sounds! Edited to include Hide Sight's bio. Thanks for sending to me, @stealthnight! A true hero's tragic story of betrayal and overcoming the odds of survival.

Excellent recap of last week's medical adventure, @Bananiac. It was fun reading about it and seeing your pictures. I hated having to miss it but I was cooking up a surprise for my son who was out of town for the weekend. We had been in contact with a local piano store for months planning to buy a baby grand piano, and the guy texted me Fri night about a great promotion that was starting that weekend. I thought how cool would that be to buy the piano and have it delivered and set up and surprise Trent when he gets back from Tallahassee on Sunday! So the guy said "be here at 10 am Sat morning and I can make that happen". It was all very exciting! I had planned to put the piano in our dining room and it just happened to coincide with my daughter's moving plans that week, and she was taking the dining room furniture for her new apartment. So Saturday became an epic real-life adventure of buying the piano, rushing home to empty everything out of the dining room and the china cabinet before the piano movers showed up! It all came together amazingly smoothly and totally worth it to see the shock on his face when he walked in the door Sunday!

Numina TF - Black & White Party - Costumes & Powers - Any AT Saturday, 9/10/2022 Several excellent backstories this week! The powers come on! Getting ourselves ready for action! Kraken gave us the evil eye while passing through the park... we couldn't let him get away with it! Meanwhile, another Giant Monster was alerted to our activities... he didn't get away with it either! Forever Midnight is pleased with today's new shinies Numina - Round Two This round had no costume requirement but just for kicks I played around with setting SG colors to black & white, to allow a quickie color change on the same costume slot ~ The End ~

No problem! By 5 minutes after the hour we figured you couldn't make it, and that's when I sent you the message to confirm, but family crises always come first. I hope your daughter is doing all right now, safe and snug in her family nest. 😄 We surely missed having your merman 🙂 along, "Creature of the Deep" (did I remember that right?) "Deep Sea Creature" or some such cool name 🙂 but we'll see you next time!

First, I absolutely love it when people share their created costumes afterwards when they have to miss an event. So thank you! Both looks are awesome! And about the black and white powers, I ran into the same problem with my widow since we can't customize VEAT power colors either.

Market Crash Trial - Underwater costume theme Saturday, 9/3/2022 Creative story from @TrixieKixx The bioluminescent pieces look great here, @BurntUmber, I may try that on Ocean Goddess @TraumaTrain, your whale guy is a bit defensive about his look. 😆 Grab a 'tube, Themers! Tropical cocktails are now served! It's true! No defeats! Proud of us that we planned ahead and got the Valet badge! Ocean Goddess had previously done this trial which negates getting the purple recipe reward, but I chose her anyway and I'm glad I did. 😁
