    Welcome to the internet and the forums, btw its called conversation. Everyone has different ideas/opinions, some will question why, some will ask things unrelated, some will interject their own spin, etc, etc.

    As far as being "rude" or "not liking it" I haven't seen anyone say it was stupid or stfu n00b.

     

    Don't take it personally, just answer the posters, and expand upon your explanation if necessary. I asked a question and you never responded, now in my book that's rude but, you don't see me getting upset. 

     

    It's OK, just get back to your thread, and answer/explain your idea. People will offer suggestions I see a couple already. Make it fun!

    Hey someone just said something incredibly stupid to someone else on here.(I know your just shocked as shit on that one)

     

    Anywho, it was called into question about the person's length of time they've been playing. Now the person in question who was being referenced was a name I recognized as someone I recognized from the Live forums.

     

    So my question do you still use your forum handle from Live? I realize the more recognizable personalities on here do Billz, Luminara, etc so you're excused from participating if you so desire. 

     

    Me even though I am The Warpact on here I started as the Larker and later the Larker Bunny. Although, I had toons as both Warpact, Bots/FF MM and the Larker, Thugs/Psn MM.

    Alot would probably recognize me from the Rookery and that groups nonsensical rp madness.

    Most of the time I just posted fluff or aggravated Luminara, yes, it's an obsession. 

     

    I'm hoping with time you have merely changed names, as there were alot of people I no longer see and hopefully they just moved on and didn't pass.

     

    Let's get it on!

    You get a base, which in this current version could mean a social gathering spot (I avoid the ERP sex dungeons), a storage facility for enhancement tables, a place for friends, or a way to show off your creative talent.

     

    In my case my 3 bases are large rooms with enhancement tables for all my io's.

    Ah but there's the disconnect, this isn't Live, this is the HC teams vision. While you might not like it or it's your interpretation you have to realize games like that thrive because of that type of mechanic.

    Look at any game it's a function of the game and it excels especially app games with hundreds of thousands or millions of subs.

     

    Not condoning anything just pointing this out.

    Overall every game out there has a form of farming or grind involved to get what you want or the items you need to lvl, enhance, etc.

     

    It's part of the things that drives us to play. The need for it.

     

    I farm and I play the market, but, I make so many alts and take care of my VGmates needs that there is balance to it all. 

     

    The new ITF+ will go the route of the ASF, people will learn how to speed it and it will be yesterday's news. Have patience my younglings balance will come to the force.

    Mainly because we have a lot of players who don't post here that don't even know there is a brainstorm server. They may not be using the HC launcher. (although, maybe it's time to only allow the use of the HC launcher? I dunno. I'm sure some folks would hate to be forced into using it for whatever reason) 

    There are folks who post here on the forums that don't know Brainstorm exists. And that's not their fault. There needs to be a greater push from HC to get people to go to Brainstorm to test things today for the next patch, whenever that is. And there needs to be a pop-up that tells them what's coming, and what they should be testing, and suggestions as to how to test for various things. 


     

    I respectfully disagree. Everyone has access to the Forums as a source of information.

    You have to sign up to get access to the game. So everyone knows it exists, topics on here are discussed in General, LFG, etc and on teams, I've seen it all so I know.

     

    Now choosing not to use it is their decision or seeking out info is once again their decision. It's a tool, they know it exists, and oft times in the past I see new posters coming on to ask a question.

     

    If anyone has played for any length of time on any game they do know there is always a Beta and when an update is coming they know open beta will occur. (Think like kids today not us old folks)

    Hell it happens on consoles all the time. So I get where you are coming from, I just think you are seriously underestimating what they are aware of.

    I think also they removed badges and merit gains from GMs in AE. Something which I don't get unless they are fearful of farming merits from it but, hell you can do that with Scrapyard.

    Half asleep many grammar mistakes fixed

    I will point out as far as drop rates, aether, costume, blah, blah, blah is concerned you all had the opportunity during Beta to test it, complain about it, and try to get it fixed. 

    I wasted time and went through all the pages of that section in the Beta thread. I saw some of the people responding there that I saw here.

    Obviously, some of it probably got snipped like what happened in other threads, so I will not comment on what I don't know. But, you had the means and opportunity to complain/change it there. As far as the people complaining about it on this thread I didn't see on that thread. I will once again point out everyone has the opportunity to test it out and voice there concerns during Beta. If you didn't that isn't anyone's fault except your own.

     

    Personally, I think its a waste of time. It's another grind and time sink for something you do not need to proceed in this game. Yeah, I get that some people like doing costumes it floats their boat and if I was remotely interested in such a thing I would have been on said thread bitching about the drop rates.

    Because, cosmetic stuff being regulated by percentages and RNG drop rates is the same as costume recipes dropping during live and I thought that shit was draconian nonsense. 

     

    So start your own thread is my recommendation, scream, shout, howl at the moon. Let the HC team know you don't like it. Although I will say your best chance was during Beta, just look at what people did with vet levels during AE. They got it changed after enough people complained about it.

    Yeah in that instance it should be unlocked across the board. Waiting till 50s incarnate stuff to unlock costume pieces that should be accessible as soon you can start playing your toon seems stupid.

    What happens if you have a theme and want to play that part, wait till 50+? 

    Unfortunately, I paid zero attention to this during beta, I have little interest in pay2costume options.

My theory is that some people spend way too much time worrying about how other people play or spend their game time. And by that I don't mean only the anti-farm crowd either.
