Thanks! I notice you only took the first 5 powers in the primary... would this build work better as a Corruptor, then?

I'm no good at making builds, don't really know which powers work best, and which power combinations work, even worse where to slot what... and while I don't mind experimenting, I would like to have something to look forward to, so if anybody has, or can get or make, a Dark/Water defender build, I'd love to use it as a guide. 😄

I'm still too new to really know how to go about making a build (and I don't mean I don't know how mids works, I mean I don't know where to start, which powers are actually good, which IO sets exist and give what bonuses, etc.). I'm playing a DP/Traps Corruptor, and it feels fun enough, thematically, but I'm having a hard time going through missions. Does anybody have a build for this combination lying around somewhere? 😃

Questions from a newb... Why slot a single Ragnarok (and a single Positron's Blast) in Living Shadows? My mids is showing you can't slot Obliteration into Feral Charge... am I reading your build correctly?

Hey, thanks! I'd been trying to strafe around the primary target, trying to get the secondary as close to right beside or right behind the primary as possible, which made it pretty fiddly, and usually didn't work, but this sounds more logical, and easier to try, thanks!

Actually, haven't had problems with end yet. I'm turning off sprint and super speed when in combat, maybe that's why? I'll look into slotting accuracy. I've been following advice to sell all enhancements for inf until I can buy IOs; I'll probably not do that from now now. Thanks!

Disclaimer: newb here! I recently started a DM/EA Scrapper, still very low level (like, below lvl 10). I've found his damage to be lacking, and survivability not particularly impressive. What am I doing wrong? I'm using the first two EA toggles, and the first three DM powers (fast, hard, and cone). The cone attack, in particular, has been mostly frustrating, since I hardly ever get to hit more than one target, and the long animation is maddening when it misses. Please note I'm not saying you're wrong. I honestly feel I'm doing something wrong. Or maybe it starts weak, but gets stronger later on, like when you get both heals and both end drains? 😃
