  1. Let me guess: on Live you ran on Pinnacle, the unofficial Drinking Server (and my home).
  2. No problem and thanks for your input. With 4 seconds on one, 8 seconds on another and 10 seconds on her last attack (no FF in the last one yet), she shouldn't be getting procs very often and should have gaps in her attack chain (which I was filling with Throwing Knives and Brawl) but her Gash (the 10 second one) is coming up by the time I've done the other two (under 3 seconds) and the short one (4 seconds) is recharging in less than 2. It's insane. Mind you, I love it but I am having to figure out how to get enough recovery to cover it all when before I slotted the FFs she had a huge surplus of endurance. If there's one problem I'm super happy to have, it's this one. Level for level, she moves faster and is much tougher than any brute (or scrapper for that matter) I've ever played. And I almost skipped the "ProcMonster" topic altogether because "it doesn't sound feasible". @Sir Myshkin, you are a hero!
  3. Yeah, I get that. That's why I'm so confused by the fact that it seems like the +recharge is on constantly. I have no recharge in any of the attacks and no global recharge but it feels as though (and the recharge times dropping like stones practically every time I hit something) seems like they're going off way too often.
  4. I've tried to read much of this thread but it's very, very long as of now. Even having skimmed much of it, I've found this enormously interesting. So much so, in fact, that I've completely re-evaluated my play style for tanks. I've made a ton of brutes trying to get close to what I've wanted in a tank but nothing felt right (even my Staff/Nrg brute who solo's +4/x8 in DA incarnate missions with few problems). Then I read this... THANKS!!! I've started leveling a Rad/BA Tank and she's currently at lvl 18. She's being funded by another of my toons so she's already using attuned IOs in everything, including several procs. The ones I'm very confused by are the FF+rech procs. She's got them in her two fastest attacks and they seem to be going off so often she's running out of end. Considering her recovery rate that's saying a lot. The proc descriptions say they should only go off 2x/min and only last 5 seconds each. So my question is this: Is the description wrong, is having two powers with short recharges making it seem like they're going off more often than they actually are, or is my understanding of the all of it just completely skewed?
  5. Are we sure this isn't an Issue as opposed to just a page? This "page" is massive and has so many changes I can't imagine it being thoroughly tested in any reasonable amount of time (by one tester). It's a darn good thing there are so many testers. Not sure I like the absorb changes in the blaster secondaries but that's for a focused feedback thread. Here I'm just giving two massive thumbs up to this patch! For Volunteers you folks are seriously dedicated and you are loved for it. Coyote
  6. This alone might be very favorite change I've seen since NR and BR were first introduced on live! Pseudo-travel power for EVERYONE! Thanks Devs!!!
  7. I do apologize if this has already been addressed. I could find nothing about it by searching. I've tried to find some way to set binds that would place a power in a slot on auto, regardless of what power was in that slot, and I've found nothing to suggest that's possible. I work from home now and since work is slow I've been playing while working. When a call comes in, however, I'd really like to be able to turn on a power to auto and let it go. I'd also like to get the CTRL+CLICK default avoided so that it stops triggering my teleport bind which uses CTRL+LBUTTON (or maybe they're both ALT+; I can't remember right now and it's not actually relevant to this question). Does anyone know anything that I might do for that? Another question I've been wondering about is the practical difference between binds and macros. Everything I've read in here and elsewhere leads me to believe the only practical difference is that macros have icons for the trays while binds just use keystrokes. Have I missed something that can be done with macros that can't be done with binds? I'm a bit biased because I have an over-abundance of buttons between my mouse and my gamepad and all are easily accessed without looking at them so I never click anything in the trays. That, of course, is a third reason for my primary question above. I very, very seldom click anything in the game other than contacts and glowies and would love to avoid that if I could. Most games I've played have some kind of "interact" action that can be used by a keybind instead of by clicking. Not sure what the deal is here. I dimly recall having the same question back on "live". I tend to be overly verbose so I'll force myself to close this query here. Thanks for any attention given. Coyote
