  1. UPDATE: thanks for the Feedback, Cranebump. I've updated the mission with your suggestions! I admit I was totally unaware that you could drag and drop the order of clues until you mentioned it!
  2. BTW, I'm glad you caught the "Moooo". I really hoped it would be seen. And the Penultimate Nullifier. The Neutron Flow bit was a wave to old school Doctor Who.
  3. Thanks for the feedback and tips. I'll try to fix the things you suggested later on tonight. I hope you enjoyed it though. I had fun making it.
  4. Thanks.. I've been cleaning up as many errors like that as I can find, but there's always one I missed!
  5. This is the first story arc I've finished. It's a red side mission (villain) and should be playable for characters level 20 to 54. Any feedback would be appreciated. Arc ID: 54884
  6. Thanks again. I ran a test play on what I have and the bosses were bosses! It was actually a decent fight now instead of just being able to roll over them!
  7. I'm confused, I did not see a setting for that.
  8. Isn't City of Titans supposed to be CoH 2 in a way? That is if it ever gets released.
  9. In a mission I'm trying to build I noticed that the bosses I set up for boss fights con as LTs when I try it out. That and man, they are too easy to beat even though they shouldn't be. I'm wondering if that is because my villain alts are masterminds and the minions just overwhelm the enemies. (It makes me wonder if MMs are a little OP?) I'm wary about making them elite bosses because then they might be TOO strong. But as LTs they are way too squishy.
  10. Is it just me or is anyone experiencing a bit of lag today?
  11. That sounds pretty cool, I'll have to check it out. I get a little frustrated with the limitations of the MA but then I have to remind myself how old it really is. And to my recollection it's the first Player Mission Builder in an MMO. (if I'm wrong, let me know) . Nort that I think these games are good, but I only played Neverwinter and Star Trek Online because of the ability to build missions. Once they took those out...well, I haven't really played either of those games that much since. And Neverwinter had an excellent MA. You could move items in 3D on an axis and have dialogue in mission with characters. IMO Champions Online really missed the mark by not building one in their game. They already lack a diversity of missions so having players make their own to share would only make the game more expansive. I guess without Homecoming the only hope is if City of Titans has an MA if it EVER gets done. At this point I'm thinking I'll be too old to care by the time they release that game, if ever. (and I'm already old...like AARP old). Sorry for the rant. It's late and us old people get grumpy when we're tired. 😉
  12. there's a lot about the MA I don' know, but I'm trying to figure stuff out. that being said, I have more questions to ask of those who know more than I. Is there a way to put an ally or a boss fight on a map without NPCs around them? If I want to put an ally in a story it seems like they have to be "captured" first. Is it possible to have them "meet you at the door" or is that just not something that can be done? The same goes for boss fights. I wanted to throw in a boss fight with a villain that just shows up for revenge. (not the main villain in the story).
  13. Oh. I thought they were scheduled events.
  14. I've been having quite a bit of fun playing this game lately. I was wondering if there are Rikti invasion/zombie events still? I ask because I just remember having a blast with them with my SG when the game as live.
  15. I'm not up on the lore of the game. I had a mission where I fought the 5th column. It was just a broker mission, not any kind of arc. I thought the 5th column was taken over by the Council. I never see any missions specific to them besides this one. Are they still a thing (at least on Homecoming)?
  16. I still don't see them. I guess I could just tweak an existing NPC but then I would have to adjust the story.
  17. I'll look again, but I did not see them in the backpack options. I might have missed it. I don't need them to be functional for the character, it's just for a certain look I wanted for the antagonist.
  18. Hello all. I'm working on a mission in the MA and I have a question. I'm trying build a custom character with Arachnos spider legs on their back like those crab spider dudes, but I don't see it in the architect as an option. I know I could just pick one from the standard characters, but they are around level 31 to 54 and I'm trying to keep the mission available to lower-level toons. (just a preference. I can change that, but it was my goal). Is there a way to do that or will I need to just tweak a pre-existing build?
  19. Yeah, I understand that and you're right about it not being defendable. If you're into drawing comics you might start to copy the style of artists you like, but thats different in game. Making a rock like tank character and calling him "Rocky Ben" is different from making the same character and naming "Ben Grimm" or "Thing" with some alternate spelling (Benn Grimmm, or the Th1ng) is just plain cloning and copying. especially when the character bio reads exactly like the real comics character. It always amazed me that people would do that even though they had to know they weren't supposed to. Thankfully I haven't really seen any of that now on Homecoming.
  20. Has anyone had the villain mission "Investigate the Disappearances" in St. martial (given by Jezebel Jones). I can't find the mission entrance. (which is frustrating because I know I did this mission once years ago). The marker is placed in such a way that you can't get near it. It's in the middle of the street and still says something like "124". I can't even spend time figuring it out as ther were about 2 dozen enemies right there. The answer is probably simple but I can't find it.
  21. It's like that with almost everything. Thats why you have warnings on bottles and the like. And considering that people were eating tide pods awhile ago I can understand why it's that way.
