  1. Yeah setting it off on purpose is kinda what my compromise is, I'm willing to live with that.
  2. Obviously not a priority but Time Bomb has a extremely long "charge time" longer than most mobs take to die. Unlike Trip Mine which explodes on enemy contact Time Bomb only explodes after a set amount of time which is 15+ seconds. I've played Traps on every Class its available on and Time Bomb is one of the least useful tier 9 powers in the game. Blasters get Time Bomb as a tier 8 power in Devices secondary. Defenders get Time Bomb as a tier 9 power in Traps primary. Controllers get Time Bomb as a tier 9 power in Traps secondary. Corruptors get Time Bomb as a tier 9 power in Traps secondary. Unique to Masterminds Time Bomb is replaced by Detonator in MM /Traps which is a Henchmen sacrifice much more useful and interesting. I honestly would like to see Time Bomb replaced with something totally different (like a targetted aoe bomb that can be tossed like dynamite/grenade) since there is a lot of overlap with Trip Mine but if Time Bomb must remain in Traps then I would suggest adding the ability for the player to detonate Time Bomb early.

Every char needs to grind accolades, every char needs to grind to 50, every char needs to do Incarnates, every char needs to do the AH grind for IOs just so they can get to the point where they are PvP ready. Its whack, we've all done it before on multiple alts. BTW sometimes you end up doing all this for nothing because your toon is garbage in PvP. Lower the barrier to entry just a little bit so everyone can get to PvPing faster and on more characters. The P2W vendor has already lowered the barrier to PvE, Null the Gull is another QoL change. Yall wanna go back to grinding Tip missions to switch sides again? Prestige is turned off for people who build bases. Incarnates are easier to craft. Almost every aspect of the game has been made easier to access content sooner. Why does PvP still gotta have this massive barrier to entry when 80% of the pop doesnt even PvP, its a small niche community but nah they cant have theirs. This is what you do, you make Accolades purchasable at the P2W Vendor HOWEVER they will only work in PvP, if you want to get the benefits of Accolades in PvE yous till must acquire them via traditional way. There, PvErs get their wish and PvPers get theirs.

  5. I had a high lvl Stalker on TB which I decided to transfer to Indom yesterday when they became an option. Today I am noticing he is gone, not on Indom or TB. By the time I logged last night he went from 48 to 50 and his name had been changed slightly because I have his prior alias on a different toon on Indom. I tried searching his both his new and old name on TB and Indom as well as Stalker AT. I only have one other Stalker on either of those servers and its a lowbie.

  8. Banana Man is right! I know many people who would come back to pvp but are not interested in PLing, IOing, farming, accolades, ect. One dude straight up said "Do I get my characters and shit back?" I told 'em no and they said "Not interested." Maybe the Devs here would be interested in setting up a Test server with /insta 50 commands and stuff, Leandro's private server had a Test server with commands to level up and obtain influence/currency, ect. The commands werent always enabled on Leandro's server but what if there was a perma Test server here with those commands? Probably unlikely I know but I imagine it would make the entree into PvP more tolerable for the majority of players.
  9. Just to play devils advocate, near the end the games pop was at an all-time low including the pvp population. How could the game be fine and what were the underlying issues causing people to leave? There is a reason many of the people I'm seeing again whether they are friends or just merely acquaintances I stopped seeing them in game years before the game was shutdown. Incarnates did not bring these people back. I think incarnates being on at the end is actually knock against it since the game was at its lowest point, I think a lot of people kind of want changes, right? Especially with the ability to alter the game as a private server compared to when the Devs during live didnt give the pvp community necessarily what it wanted. I guess I wonder, why is suddenly keeping Incarnates a worthwhile fight but reverting TS or other changes are considered good. If your argument is "The game was fine" that doesn't really hold water because the game and pvp was at its least popular point, also TS/Heal Decay were things during that same time period where you claim "The game was fine." and yet most people seem happy those were removed on the private server. EDIT: I'd also like to say I am very much not looking forward to every one and their mother having access to Incarnate Pets in Zone PvP on top of the team wide buffs that every class will have access to let alone the reduced end cost or increased damage, additional incarnate procs ect.
  10. I like this idea. On Leandro's private server there was a large thread in the PvP section where the pvpers tossed out ideas and eventually persuaded Leandro to remove TS and Heal Decay from PvP Zones. Initially they just wanted a full i13 revert but Leandro explained that wouldn't be as easy as it sounds so the TS/Heal Decay was from what I understand a compromise. I am also under the impression Leandro added the ability to turn off TS, HD, DR and Incarnates in Arena match options. Hopefully the community can come together and make similar decisions on future changes, the private server pvp community was a handful of people, on a regular bases fewer than 20 pvpers were active day to day. The PvP discord has over 200 people so it may be harder to come to clear cut decisions but hopefully this community can come to a compromise with balances/changes and rule sets too. EDIT: The more experienced and active pvpers on leandros server stated when I joined that Incarnates break pvp specifically team pvp and that incarnates overall are not a good idea. Leandro adding the ability to turn off Incarnates in Arena options was the pvp community idea not Leandros.

  13. DR still remains, they turned off TS and Heal Decay in PvP Zones. You have the option to turn off DR, Heal decay and TS in Arena PvP if you so choose now. I don't think they will ever remove DR from PvP Zones, it would be such a massive shock to anyone who only played post i13. Going into a PvP zone w/o a tray full of break frees would mean certain death for all new players.

If Indom is the PvP server can you guys at least revert the AE XP on Indom and keep it nerfed on the other servers since it seems PvPers prefer to lvl as fast as possible while PvErs want a slow grind to enjoy the experience? FYI none us chose Indom as the pvp server the GM/Devs of this server did when they made that statement, I was on TB before the announcement was made to make Indom the pvp server I've now switched but you see in order to PvP properly in this game you have to lvl up, you also need to get IO'd builds and at the end of the day the highest lvl of PvP you need to be 50. Every level counts in zone pvp, even if you are cutoff at lvl30 in Siren's Call a person still gets access up to their lvl35 powers so a lvl35 has a significant advantage over a lvl20 in Siren's, this rule applies to every PvP zone. On top of that there are enhancement & slots...to take into account as well as Epic/Patron pools.

  17. GM's made that statement to get people to move off TB. Anyways I been popping into Siren's once or twice a day on TB, today a few people showed up and I pocket Emp'd for a flying sonic/nin blaster on villains side. Also TS is off as well as Heal Decay. DR still remains.
  18. And why the hell would you delete someone else's character? There was a lvl1 character named Doctor Red right where my previous character was that I deleted. I had no idea who the fuck Doctor Red is but I deleted him.

  21. Stop by Siren's Call on Saturday and Sunday for some PvP fun. The level restriction for SC is 20, not too bad. Heroes and Villains are welcomed, you can switch sides instantly via the Seagull in Pocket D if you so choose. Check the /Arena chat channel and keep an eye out in other global channels for when the zone is most active we'll be sure to broadcast it. See yall in Siren's. You can access SC through Steel Canyon on Heroside or Sharkhead for Villains. EDIT: Yes PvP works in Siren's I've tested it with a few people, Arena is currently disabled and I've heard rumors that Bloody Bay PvP is disabled as well but Siren's absolutely works right now.
