On the Gripping Hand If the OP wants advice on how to successfully play the ATs, the forums have individual sections for each AT and he can find build suggestions and tactical support there.

I think the OP has been misguided by others into thinking he has to play other ATs instead of staying with the MMs he clearly enjoys. He tried other ATs and didn’t like them. He likes MMS. He should continue to have fun and not listen to people who say he should play other ATs. If you’re having fun, you’re doing it right. Nothing else matters.

I don’t understand. What is your problem? Play the AT you like to play. No one says you have to have one of each. If you are having fun then you are playing the game right.

Well yah, but I assume changing the name of a server is more difficult than doing a character rename. Seriously, does anyone know how hard changing a Server name is? Because at only a month and a half out, I’m pretty sure it isn’t locked in anyone’s mind as the only possiblity.

How difficult is it to rename a server?

You have six costume slots. You can change your nameplate information. Just copy it to a file and paste/swap when you change identities. The NPC titled “surgeon” in the Icon store can let you alter your size and (I think) the sex/mass choice as well.

Just a few suggestions First, Crey isn’t the only organization out there. Portal Corp deals with weird stuff too. A time lost device might better fit them. Secondly, don’t get locked into the name of your power set. The Time Secondary is mostly debuffs with a few buffs. It could just as easily be explained as nanobots or a biological swarm attack. Change the colors of the sfx and it could be anything.

This. I much prefer to see someone quote a specific thing which they are responding to. Much prefer it over the ones who quote someone who is quoting someone who is quoting someone.... You get six costume slots. You have unlimited for free costume tailor sessions as long as you do it before level ten. BEFORE Level Ten. Create multiple costumes for your character during creation and save them. When you get to Miss Liberty, do a quick run through to save them in the slots. Then do your DFB runs for quick leveling. Addendum The Icon Employee (or Facemaker) in the back labled “Surgeon” can let you change height.

False equivalence is a logical fallacy in which two completely opposing arguments appear to be logically equivalent when in fact they are not. This fallacy is categorized as a fallacy of inconsistency I’m not stepping into the rest of this dreck storm, but his point was your counter to his point was poorly made and illogical. My thought was, if she makes the illusions than she is the one gas lighting people and you should come up with a better strawman if you want to keep going.

I cant believe this argument is still going on. Can you make copies? Yes, the capability exists. Should you make copies? No. But I don't think people should pick their noses either. If you think the name you want to use is questionable, then just don't use it. If someone's costume or name really offends you, submit a report and let the people who actually have the ability to do something take care of it. And then let it go. No need to keep stressing or arguing about it on the forums.

Create an account. Delete it. Try to get it back. Let us know how it works out for you.

I have deleted a character and remade it on several occasions. Trying out different tank sets before settling on the one I liked. There was zero wait time for deleting a character and recreating with the same name. I also have saved a name for a friend. When they were able to log on, I deleted from my account so she could get it for hers. There was no delay. They say anecdotal evidence isn’t proof, but I feel confident in saying there is currently no delay.

Or, yanno, they could just delete the toons without making a big deal or asking someone to message if they want them. Got a character you no longer wish to play? Delete it. We don’t need to hear about it. If someone on that server wants the name, it’s available. Asking for private messages before you will release them sounds a lot like you intend to ask for something in return

I was talking to a friend in game earlier who said a toon he had tried out had vanished this morning. He assumed the name change policy had already begun, but I have my doubts. Perhaps while they were setting it up a few names got yoinked? He got it back right away. Did you try to make a new toon up with that name?
