Yeah I was really happy with the accomplishment because I was playing solo the whole time, but I can see how it would have a bad effect on other players

A few days ago I was playing around with a new toon and realized I made it all the way to 13th level before being beaten. That's quite an accomplishment for me, and I thing the game should give us badges for making to certain levels if we can do it without ever being beaten. I wonder if anyone would ever manage to get a level 50 survivor badge without being an abject coward?

I tried that the effects for plants were all spiky and ugly. I wanted something liquidy.

zones that are never used ( for the most part)
The Mighty Paladin replied to MikeEmike's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
personally I never do TFs at all. and probably never will. I just hate teaming up. It's never been a good experience for me. I think the main thing that will draw more players is more solo friendly content at all levels. -
No Human Ears Option for Cat/Bunny/etc Ears

no one is saying you can't have 4 ears, we're saying we don't want to have to have 4 ears. -
zones that are never used ( for the most part)
The Mighty Paladin replied to MikeEmike's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I've never seen anyone in several of these zones and a big part of the reason is that the content is both level bound and off the beaten path. Most people don't even think about them (or know about them in the case of newer players) until they're too high level for them, then it's like why bother? this is especially true for Terra Volta and Boomtown, but is becoming more and more true of all hazard zones. I think one thing that could easily draw people to these areas is adding some easy to get contacts that give you missions there, and give you cell phones right away. -
thank you

I don't know what proc means.

I gave it a try but settled on a Sentinel with recolored energy blast and energy aura. It looks cool. The Character is named Acid Rain.

underwater adventures
The Mighty Paladin replied to The Mighty Paladin's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I don't want this to be a big deal. I'm fine with letting power sets pretty much work as they do now underwater, including fire and electricity. I don't need it to make sense. I just want it to be fun. I can swim to the bottom but there's no reason to because there are no mission doors, no explorer points no contacts and most of all nothing to encounter. That's what I'd like to see added. -
of all these suggestions, I think recoloring the radiation is probably the simplest, I'll go with that.

Weapons Weapons Weapons
The Mighty Paladin replied to The Mighty Paladin's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
holding both sticks together when not using them is a way to make this simple for the game creators. it's also more practical than spinning them all the time. You could do the flashy spinning if the attacks can be done without a target. Also I didn't suggest nunchucks to start a debate about how good a weapon they are. I just happen to love them, and that's the main reason to use them. B U T . . . you make up for the lack of power by using speed. the chain or cord acts as a shock absorber, so you don't get those painful vibrations in your hand when you hit something really hard. that means you're less likely to drop your weapon (provided you don't try to do stupid tricks with them) and you can use them much longer. Also the fact that they're difficult to use is really a big advantage because if you do get disarmed and your opponent tries to use it against you he probably can't. With all that said I admit that they're not a very good weapon over all but I happen to love them and a lot of other people do which is the main reason I'd like to see them in the game. -
but water blast doesn't cause DOT does it?

it's always struck me as weird that there are numerous bodies of water in the game but there are no underwater missions. just put some stuff in the water! you could even add a water breathing pool power and allow stores to sell a temporary version of it that looks like scuba gear. this would allow you to add whole new enemy factions to the game, and have some of the existing factions have underwater missions. eventually you could work toward adding new underwater maps including even the possibility of new city zones in both COH and COV.

there are several new weapons I'd love to see in the game and I think they can be done with only minor modifications to existing assets. 1) Escrima sticks are a cool fighting style popular in the Philippines and demonstrated by Bruce Lee in the movie Enter the Dragon. They could easily be added to the game by making them one of the weapon options for dual blades. 2) A single handgun. Frankly i think this would be a much more popular than dual pistols. the animations are already there and used by several NPCs. please please give us this. 3) nunchucks this is the most difficult but the weapon can simply be added as an option in the duel swords and broad sword power sets. the hard part is making the spinning part which will spin around in combat only. (in non combat situations the two sticks should both be held in the character's hand so they won't spin. 4)Bokken or Shinai these are both wooden swords that i would like to see as options in the Katana set. 5) Darth Maul staff change it's appearance as much as you need to to make it legally safe but I think a lot of people would like this option under staff fighting. 6) throwing stars, This would need to be a pool power, the animations are already there and used by some Tso members. but of course for a full pool you'd have to add the ability to throw multiple stars (AOE) poison stars (DOT) & throw them very fast (multiple hits) possibly even blinding effects (like the flash arrow) by throwing at the target's eyes. the idea is to give a weak but nice to have ranged set to add to tanks and scrappers. you could also include a variety of cosmetic options for what exactly we throw.

I'd really like to make a villain who has an acid blast power. this would be a ranged attack set that has liquidy effects and the default color should be green with a smoky effect and some sizzle like sounds. The attacks would cause little damage initially but DOT, and they could include attacks like an acid cloud and acid rain at the higher levels. do you think this set is possible?
