Haha sounds good. Kicking around the idea of matching Elec Armor with KM, Kat or Staff. Curious, why not Titan Weapons? I would have thought those two pair well with each other since Elec Armor provides TW with a lot of what it wants (recharge, end control, etc) and Titan does some +Def.

I’ve always been an Invuln fan, but I love your Elec Armor call out. I feel like that set is super sturdy, and the end drain resistance can’t be overstated. When you say “turn off any major cascade event”, what do you mean though? Forgive my ignorance, since I’ve just come back to the game. Also, any particular secondaries you feel match well with Elec Armor?

This sounds tasty. A lot of zone control as well. Do you prefer the Def or Cor version? I hear Water shines on Cors, but FF on Defenders. Also, so you take power boost? I’m sure you can pump your defenses to crazy levels.

I appreciate this Dark, as I’m still fairly new and not quite sure since it is a newer set! I know some sets (like Kin and Cold) are stronger on Corruptors because there just isn’t much change in the set going from Def to Cor, so just go for more damage, right? Is that the case with Elec Affinity at all? Is it better suited to one AT or the other?

Elec Affin/Water intrigues me. Nice to never have to worry about endurance haha. And I hear Elec Affin is great for end game stuff. Is it super busy though?

Water/Ninja sounds like an awesome theme! Yeah, Water/Cold on Cors or Defs seems strong across the boards.

Hey all, I dig Water Blast. Seems to do a little bit of everything (Dmg, CC, healing), while just looking REALLY COOL. All that being said, I’m not sure what I want to run it on/pair it with! I’m leaning either Corruptor or Defender. Some of the combos that caught my eye: Water/Elec Affinity: Seems like a TOUGH and synergistic pairing. My only hesitation is I hear Elec Affin is very active, and that might not pair well with Water Blast? Water/Cold: Seems like Water CAN be endurance heavy. Cold brings heat loss, to help with that. Cold also just brings really strong debuffs and seems to be in demand quite a lot for teams. Water/Kin: I know Fire/Kin is the classic, but I’m leaning Water. I know I’ll lose damage, but should pick up some more control/safety. Like Cold, seems like most teams love having a Kin. Like Elec Affin though, I hear Kinetics is very active. Water/Thermal: This seems like a cool thematic pairing. Therm is a nice mix of buffs and debuffs. I could see this combo being very endurance intensive though. Water/Martial: I know this is a Blaster, but it’s just my random choice since it seems really cinematic haha I’m open to ideas and suggestions though. Would you recommend any of the above pairs? Would you make it on a Defender or Corruptor? Thanks in advance all!

Glad to see it inspired someone else to roll a Stalker. I LITERALLY just had the same talk with @Infinitum about this (although I’m leaning Staff/EnA for mine). Ultimately, I’d probably say give the Staff/Stone a shot! My reasoning: - It’s more original. Sometimes it’s fun to discover new, powerful combos. Seems like there is nice synergy between Staff and Stone. - You’ve ran Elec/Shield (well, I guess Shield/Elec) on a Tanker. While I know it’s AMAZING on a Stalker, you’re probably going to have a similar experience overall.

If you end up having your Stone Armor build, I'd love to see how you slotted it 😛

Yeah, Energy Aura seems to be one of the most popular choices across the board.

Yeah. Only thing it is really missing is a +dmg boost, but it could arguably be the tankiest Stalker lol

I bet with the Sky Splitter combo finisher, you can max a TON of your resists. Probably all with Icy Bastion going.

I’m wondering with the redraw changes this patch, if the clicky armors are better now since it’s not as big of a deal. Invuln and Energy Aura seem the toughest. How is the new Stone?

TRUE. So I’ve ran an /Ice Scrapper before, which was the reason I was saying away from it…. But it does sound great 😂

Dude, I LOVE what it looks like Stone Armor can do… I just don’t know if I can make the costume pieces work 😕 maybe if only they had an even more minimal FX option like Bio, or even a no FX lol. It’s the shoulder pad ones that really cause a problem.

Elec seems really cool stylistically. Idk if I’d take the T9, but it seems really solid across the board.

Yeah, I feel like Staff/Invuln would be silly sturdy. How do you feel the damage is, since Invuln doesn’t really ramp Staff’s damage or have AOE’s or anything

This does seem to be a great combo. I was thinking Staff/Invuln would be super survivable… Staff/Bio might just be survivable ENOUGH while bringing really good damage. @Croax I summon thee!

So I want to pull the trigger on my first Stalker! Staff Fighting seems great. A good +Def power, quasi ranged move, and it picks up another hard hitting ST attack + all the AOE it already provides. Seems made for a Stalker that likes to scrap it out. Also, and correct me if I’m wrong, it seems to have benefited from the new redraw changes? All that being said, I’m torn on what secondary to choose! Bio, Invuln, Rad, Energy and maybe Elec? Bio seems to be the all in offensive choice, which might make sense on a Stalker. EnA, Rad and Elec all seem to have a good means for endurance recovery. Invuln I just hear has it’s absolute best version on a Stalker? Anyways, I’m open to suggestions on any secondary! What would you pair with Staff on a Stalker, and why?

Is Trick Arrow impacted by the new Redraw? I’m wondering if your bow stays out now when you cast the Storm Blast powers.

I could see Storm/Elec being nice for End Drain. You mentioned Bio and Fire for secondary… what other secondaries do you feel pair well with it?

I’m glad you started this thread! I was looking at Storm Blast as well and wanted inspiration. I was thinking a classic Storm/Storm on either a Corruptor/Defender. Not sure which one to go. Storm/Elec Sentinel seems like it could be spicy as well.

Well, it is hard to beat the fun factor of this Storm/Water so far. It definitely goes where it pleases, so long as endurance holds up 😂
