  1. Understandable, perhaps 50 or so characters would be more acceptable, though I do understand, as I have/play few characters myself, perhaps my perceptions on the topic are skued. First come first serve names is fair, though perhaps the addition of second/sur names could also assist with name availability. Ie: Ranger (Red), Ranger (blue), ect. Could be a viable option.
  2. I understand, current limitations are limitations after all, perhaps it would be closer to a "Assault Secondary Power set" 3 pistol attacks, and mostly broadsword based attacks. "Swap Ammo" could still be used in a "Left Animation Limited Fashion" and thus an alteration to the Structure of Sword/Pistol may be possible without "Pain in the Backside" having go through the frankensteining. That would be 3 ranged Attacks, 5 melee Attacks, plus "Swap ammo" (Left Hand Only) and "Combat Readiness" for a total of 10 powers, and perhaps the passive Quickness, to assist with the reduced number of overall available attacks. 1 - Broad Sword: Hack - leaving the pistol visible in the other hand. 2 - Left Pistols Animation "1" - leaving the blade visible in the other hand. 3 - Broad Sword: Slash - leaving the pistol visible in the other hand. 4 - (Build Up/ Combat Readiness) - leaving both the blade and the pistol visible in the hands. 5 - Left Pistol Animation "2" - leaving the blade visible in the other hand. 6 - Broad Sword: Perry - leaving the pistol visible in the other hand. 7 - Swap Ammo (Fire/Toxic/Acid), though it would only effect (Left Hand Pistol Animations/Effects/Attacks) 8 - Left PIstol Animation "3" - leaving the blade visible in the other hand. 9 - Broad Sword: Whirling Blade (AoE) - leaving the pistol visible in the other hand. 10 - Quickness (From Super Reflexes) Auto Self +Recharg, + Speed. (Could swap out one of the abilities with a Thrown Grenade (like the temporary power) that would make it 4 melee and 4 ranged. and add another AoE since most of the "Left Hand" animations are single or inline target attacks" "Piercing shot, not sure if that is a "Left Animation or not" The Poses You put in look great, now I kinda want to see them in the Game LOL Perhaps this version would not be "As Powerful" but could be made functional, without the need to frankensteining or extra work? ((Exciitedly.. Or NC Soft will pull the power-set from the Kora Launch out of there archives and let you all put it in the game, that would be great, though I doubt it will happen.))   3. Well met all and again. I am unsure where to place my suggestion, so I opted to place it within this strain. Back when the servers were line, I remember the limit on available character slots could be adjusted by NC Soft. If that is something still available to the developers currently, I have a suggestion. Reduce all players to a maximum of 10 total characters, instead of the 1000 or so we currently have access to. My reasoning is simple, with the increased number of new and returning players since the licensing was announced. (as below) 1) "Name Availability" is once again becoming a concern. 2) Any characters beyond the 10 that are displayed on the character select screen, can easily be overlooked and thus forgotten and often not played. 3) So any characters that are beyond the displayed 10 are in effect, "Names" that are rendered unavailable to those who may be returning or new players. 4) One of the concern from back when the "Live Servers" were in use, was the act of "Name Scalping" I am hoping that it dose not come back to CoH/CoV/CoR (It was the practice of people "locking Down Names" and attempting to solicit money from members of the community to "Let them Use" name for there characters, in effect a person would stack a lot of character names, then attempt to "sell them" for real world profit. I remeber NC Soft doing something the stooped the practice once it was discovered, but do not know how they did so.) It was the same "category" as most any other of the numerous "In Game Sales, for "Real World Money" and thus illegal, but people would still try and "profit off the game", as it were. I have unfortunately seen the "precursors activates a hand full of times in the game already" so wanted to give you all a heads up, and offer the above suggestion/possible resolution. (the "precursor" I have seen most often thus far is "Auction House Price Pushing" witch is the practice of purchasing a mass quantity of a given "common/needed" item and re-posting them in mass with a higher price tag, making things more difficult for "new/low level" characters to get so they can "build enhancements" for there characters.   4. I have a Sentenal I set up in a similar concept. Dul Pistols/Willpower For the Melee Side. Brawl, then from "Fighting" power st at 4+. Boxing (stun/disorant) 3 Enhancements (accurcy/damage/stun) Kick (Knock Down/Bavk) 3 Enhancements (accuricy/damage/knock) Cross Strike/punch - 3 Enhancements (accuracy/damage/recharge) Then from "Fly" the "Air Superiority" 3 Enhancements (accuracy/damage/knock) You could try this, might give you a "close to"

As a "Medium Range Combatent" is there a reason "Ranged" power sets were chosen as the primary options instead of the "Assault Power Sets" that are a Domanators Secondary? It seams making "Assault Sets" with there mix of ranged and melee would make more sense for "a medium range combatant". As a primary, and keeping "Scrappers sets" as a secondary would be more in line, with the description. If some could take a few minits, and give me a response to this inquiries, it would be appreciated, my thanks for your time.

  8. City of Herod Asia allegedly, had that very power set. At least as far as I understood the Asia Release (Korea), you can see it in the per-release animation. It mixed broad sword animations in the primary hand, and pistol animations in the secondary hand. Though it was suggested for release as an expansion power-set for US servers, though as far as I know, the servers were were taken offline before the addition of the Sword/Pistol came to pass. As a CGI hobbyist even I could likely modify or create such an animation, but finding someone more skilled would be the best course of action and as the privet servers likely have access to such personal, that seams the best course of action. If there are concerns with game balance, make it a Sentinel Only skill like ("Gun-Fu" is for the "Guardian" archetype only, on the Rebirth Server) until the bugs are worked out.
