I've been wanting to use the Regeneration set for a while, but after looking it over, it seems to have extremely limited Def/Res. So making a Tank, Brute, Scrapper, etc... utilizing this set seems like it would be tough to survive. Or am I missing something? I get it allows you to gain HP back at an accelerated rate and has self heals, but is that enough to survive / offset the amount of damage coming in? Also, does it work better for a specific AT like a Tank since its a primary set for them? I'm guessing yes, but by how much?

I use whatever fits the toon best. I would say most have flight or jump with speed coming in after those two. I've used the other travel pools but again, to fit concept. A travel powerset which would be cool would be swinging perhaps. Include a single targeted hold or immobilize of some kind. Maybe a zipline for a quick ascent up the side of a building or across to the next building. Using that same feel to zip around, a combat zip, picture almost like a combat teleport. or if you want to go really crazy a drag attack, ala Mortal Kombat Scorpion "Get Over Here!" attack with a disorient kicker. Something that would give you that Daredevil/Spiderman/Batman feel.

I agree with the Spiderman 2 choice. It captured the feel of the wall crawler the best. The fight on top of the train with Doc Ock was classic Spidey.

First one is kind of a wish list 1) Steven Lang (AVATAR) would be cool as Cable 2) Christopher Reeve as ... you know who! 3) Jon Bernthal - Punisher. Finally an actor who did the character justice. He is awesome at it. 4) Robert Downey Jr. - Ironman. The MCU owes his portrayal of the character EVERYTHING! 5) Christian Bale - The Dark Knight. Just down right perfect.

Thats pretty much me. I just slotted my AT sets, and yes that made a difference. I just started looking at incarnates and what to slot there. Alpha Musculature and Resilient both sound good, Just deciding which way to go. Double down on defense or help out with damage output.

I'm pretty sure the toons I've run into with my tank are min/maxed to the hilt. I just hit 50 and need to work on getting incarnates, IOs, etc... They just seemed to have an easier time with general content than I do. Again, my tank is pretty raw so I'm sure I'll catch up.

Are you saying tanks hit the cap faster because their primary powers give bigger bonuses than a brute's secondary?

From the outside looking in, it seems Brutes are just as tough as Tanks with more offensive capacity. It just seems like Brutes steamroll over everything while tanks struggle to down anything they face. They both have the same sets to choose from (flipping primary and secondary choices). The questions is this ... Is there a big difference in defensive/resist caps? If yes, is it as large of a gap as the damage output between the two? If no, then why a tank when a brute is just as tough?

I couldn’t find any mention of this. is there any way to trade incarnate materials between toons on the same account? (Ie. shards, threads, ingredients, etc…)

I don't mind "Speed Runs" as long as I know that is the plan. When it's advertised as a Speedy run, then it's up to me to decide if I want that or not. Usually if it's an arc I havent done yet, I like to enjoy it and not rip through every mission. I enjoy the content and interacting with others on the team. I like to patiently wait until everyone is on the mission map before hitting the first group. I also know the value of a speed run to some people who want to get the rewards a set of missions give quickly. Especially if they have done the missions countless times before. I was tanking as part of a Synapse TF the other night with a bunch of first timers. It was 2 hours and 38 minutes of back and forth banter and pure fun. Even though I've done that TF dozens of times, I still enjoyed the experience of interacting with the other 7 players.

Is there a way to repeat text in chat without having to type over again. for example. no having to type “gather for heal” over and over or “forming team for TF”, etc…

Maybe I'll try it on a Brute. Never played one before.

I don't know how this combo will work out as a scrapper. Been toying with the idea of making it another AT. Claws and Will Power seem like decent sets on paper. Any opinions or experience with this? Also, How would other ATs (other than scrapper of course) compare? Does it make much of a difference what AT is used on this build combo?

Just started a Rad/Rad defender. Just wondering if anyone has any experience with this build. So far it seems like fun in a group setting with all the debuffs.

I'm not very hopeful, but you never know.
