  1. I tend not to wear press-ons because I find it just trashes my nails. I have very thin nails to start with (always have), hence the reason I wear polish, to protect them. But, that's just me. I have some color-changing temperature sensitive nail polishes in my stash, that I should wear more often before the heat changing stops working
  2. Thanks! And just think, that's the base colors that's naturally in the bottle! With that said, unless you have really strong nails, buffing them down to a high shine actually damages the nails, and is generally not recommended. Also cutting the skin at your cuticles is also not recommended because it can damage the skin. In my case I have such dry cuticles no matter how often I moisturize with nail oil and hand cream that I generally have to cut them off. I'm not a nail tech, but I know what works for me. Everyone's skin and nails are going to be a little different. With that said, for even basic colors there's all sorts of things you can do with them. Including if you have them, nail stamping, watermarble, color blocking, or something where each finger is a different color, which is called a Skittle Mani (named after the candy) As example, my Canadian mani (I'm Canadian.)
  3. Thank you! I like to play with all sorts of textiles and art mediums too
  4. Does anyone do their nails? Just curious. I have a large collection of colors, so I tend to do my nails, although short, quite often. Here's my latest lineup for anyone who's interested.
  5. Because I'm often working on my sewing, yarn spinning, crafting in general, pattern drafting, school, or YouTube channel (as example, my Aes Sedai handspun, handknit, hand beaded shawl project)
  6. A little late to the party here, I remember doing SF's and hanging with Magnus-X. I wasn't online as often as my partner was/is. My main toon was Zomm-Bee and my partner's main toon at the time was The Vegemite Kid My partner is online very frequently, known as Reigh, Kellirehenna and several other toons, but those are their most well known currently on Everlasting Screen capture pic is my old and re-made toon on Everlasting, for reference
  7. Out of the games I've played for value: Most value, due to replay and time spent: Minecraft - I mainly play on a LGBT server called Grandma's House, and I have spent months of time online. I'm a maker at heart so building things and digging caves out is very satisfying for me Terraria - over 1500 hours clocked on Steam, same reasons as Minecraft Fallout 4 - not including Fallout London (which is almost it's own game) I have over 900 hours clocked in on Steam, and I'm always finding new bunkers, or cleverly placed teddy bears Least value: Fallout 76 - I know this is an unpopular opinion, but I don't think you should have to pay for the game AND a monthly subscription to get ahead in the game. It just feels wrong. Especially for people who aren't great at video games and just want to follow the story. Some combat is fine, but with such limited resources, and having to run from deathclaws 200 times higher than your level is really unfair. Borderlands 3 - it was....okay, but the story line kinda sucked. The DLC's are more worth it than the main plotline They Bleed Pixels - It's a platformer that's so hard that I have a really hard time playing it. I like the vibe, the graphics are fun, but as for gameplay, again I'm not that great so its most likely my personal experience that's limiting my enjoyment. Screen cap is from Fallout London
  8. Your character name: Milliner Your Global handle: @kieraoona Your base’s name: Mantua & Makers (and the Raveyard) The shard it is located on: Everlasting The passcode for entry: MAKERS-35446 The category your base is entering under: Novice Contributing builders’ names or Global handles: @kommando (for assistance with portals) and @kieraoona (primary account and primary builder) (edited to add info) Are you the base owner: Yes (edited to add info) Any additional information you wish the judges to know beforehand: The base entry doesn't face the correct direction due to the orientation of the base itself (can't change it without changing the entire base layout). The gravestone markers with arrows point towards the Raveyard portion of the base. There is also a hidden base owner respite domicile that is floating above the mall with a secret entrance, as well as another secret entrance for private parties. The overall vibe of the base is that it's built on a destroyed mausoleum that has been retrofitted and rebuilt into a mall like atmosphere with amenities for heroes, and villains, including a super suit tailor shop, and party rooms in the lower levels, and additional portals to get around for people that would be considered "staff" Loads of spaces for RP potential, or hosting a party.
