  1. I feel like a Brute is a pretty good choice for an entry level character. War Mace might be an interesting option since it's really crunchy and has a fair number of AoE attacks. I've had good luck pairing it with Shield Defense, but Willpower or Electric Armor might be better entry level secondaries. A slightly more advanced but still good entry level option would be a Corruptor. It deals damage, but relies on a support (i.e., Buff/Debuff) secondary, so it will be more fragile than the melee archetypes. Fire Blast is a solid primary and doesn't have any gimmicks to learn. Radiation Emission or Time might be good secondaries to dip into the support side of the game.
  2. That's the "Malaise" pattern on tights smooth, with the colors being dark blue and chartreuse.
  3. If it helps, I found that the refined versions had a more vibrant color selection. Neodymium ends up purple/lavender once refined, for example. I think on of them ended up a light blue color if that'd help?
  4. I'll bring Neodymium - Fire/Earth Dom.
  5. The various "robotic arm(s)" are a neat option in costume creation: they allow you to have a different arm look from whatever you choose for a "chest" option. To that end, I have two additions I'd love to see. "Robotic Arm 3" replaces the entire right arm. I think it'd be nice to have an "Organic Armor" and "Organic Armor Thorny" option here. Those "organic armor" skins would be fun additions here for a sort of mutated or deformed arm look that is otherwise missing, They aren't "robotic" but neither are the various "fire and ice" arms under this category. "Robotic Arm 2" replaces the upper arms on both sides but leaves the lower arm/gloves options. I think it'd be nice to have this idea be expanded into a "Robotic Arms 4," where both arms are replaced as if the "Robotic Arm 3" option were being applied to both arms rather than just the right. I'd love to be able to have the "Cyber-tech Arm" skins on both arms. This might be more technically difficult to do so I understand it's a bit of a pipe-dream.
  6. I think I'm sure? This time, I'll at least have a secondary to lean-on and pets that can be ranged so I hope I'll be okay? Ah, sorry, I think I was unclear: I meant swap themes, rather than the TF/SF.
  7. I'll bring Alichino - Demons/Pain MM. Hmm, is it possible to swap this and the Penny Yin one later in the month? I'd love to bring my Bluesider to this, but otherwise, I can roll a new alt. for it.
  8. I'll try bringing Philodendra - Plant/Psi Dom.
  9. RE: Sentinels, at the risk of going a bit against the grain, I kinda like when my secondary doesn't require much management and I can keep on blasting. I also recomend secondaries that have multiple areas of protectiuon, i.e., more than just defense or resistance or healing. Of my two sentinels - a Dual Pistols/Super REflexes and a Beam Rifle/Invulnerability - the Beam Rifle/Invulnerability is surprisingly powerful and fun after the Sentinel revamp; in fact, I think Beam Rifle gets a sort of better version in Sentinels because it loses its snipe for a chain AoE and benefits from not needing to pause blasting (thereby giving more instances of disintegrating). I have been toying with the idea of a Radiation/Regen. one day but that's been mostly on a back-burner. I think I'll be around so I can definitely help with leading it like back when we did the Halloween event in Oct.
  10. I plan on bringing Pepsis Regina - Mind/Savage Dom. But, if we need more support, I'll bring C. Abyssus - Water/Sonic Corr.
  11. Unfortunately (?), this Saturday I'll be having brunch with the family to celebrate a birthday so I'm not sure I'll be around.
  12. A while back there was a number of posts concerning Dominator powers and, relevantly, here was a break down of how Domination works:
  13. I'll try to bring Khalkeon - Rad/Energy Tanker.
  14. There's also Irish Whiskey, Japanese Whisky (Japanese Scotch), American Rye Whiskey, and Tennessee Whiskey (i.e., Jack Daniels). The general rule for the spelling is that Canadian, Scotch, and Japanese drop the "e"; American and Irish keep the "e." And, as Fraulein and Jax mentioned, bourbon doesn't have to be from Kentucky, but it must be produced in the U.S., made from a grain mixture that is at least 51% corn, and aged in new, charred oak containers. For those who want to learn a little more:
  15. Thanks for the suggestions! Is this the backstory for one of your characters?
  16. So whiskey talk: normally, I'm a Scotch drinker when I can splurge on it - either Macallan or, as a serious treat, Aberlour. Here and there, I've tried to get into drinking bourbon but have yet to find one that I like. I thought Bullet and Buffalo Trace were a bit too antiseptic for my taste. Any suggestions for ones to try?
  17. I'lll try to bring Baroness Abigail Masham - Plant/Psi Dom.
  18. I'll try to bring Marcor - Rad./Bio. Brute.
  19. Thanks! But really you had done most of the legwork and I only built on the idea, so credit where credit is due. I used some other pictures online to try to get the colors down; what amazed me is that organic armor costume set really does look inspired by Starcraft II (which came out around when that costume set did). If you're curious or want to use it yourself, I attached a copy of the costume files I used for her. And, I love the power combo too! I've been playing her (off and on) since CoV launch. Normally, she lives on Excel. under the name Philodendra but I had to rename her along with the server visit this week. StarCrafted.powerCust StarCrafted.costume
  20. Wow, that's a great one! And in fact, I'll take you up on that offer. I can do the costume, I think (looks like organic armor parts with the dynasty chest piece?). After this week's theme, feel free to use it yourself.
  21. Hmm, I'm a a bit of a loss for this theme. Oddly enough, I mostly play RTS/Grand Strategy or Explorer/Puzzler games, so I'm not really familiar with arcade game characters. I have a Kin./Energy Stalker that could get dressed as a fighting game character but I'd need a suggestion/guidance for the costume. I also have a Storm/Elec. Blaster, a Sym./Thermal Controller, or a Plant/Psi. Dom. I could bring, but again, I'd need help on figuring a costume out for any of them.
  22. I'll try top be on with Pepsis Regina - Mind/Savage Dom.
  23. I plan to bring C. Abyssus - Water Crude Oil Blast/Sonic Corr.
  24. I'd throw out that Howling Twilight is somewhere up there: it's an auto-hit AoE minor stun and massive -Regen that rezes all of your nearby allies to full.
  25. I'm working from v3.6.6 so that might be the issue. What I was referring to is in the menu bar: File - Options - Build Sharing - Etc.; import option I was referring to is under that "build Sharing" menu. Here's some alternatives that might work a bit: https://mids.app/build/preview/cIcP3svwXcG.htm and an older version of the build: |MxDz;1520;686;1372;HEX;| |78DA8593594F135114C7EFB453596B2DB5B294D2D2022D5B81275782C8623434C1F| |880F1A50EED08938C1DD219883CFA458CAFBE98F8E6FA15DCB78FE0C68EA089B19E| |CEF9D399688C934C7E67FEF79E33FF7BEFB9D99B938DF7CEDF1A13526042574C333| |769DCD08A8A65946AB3CB96626946D12BE8A9A1B7A33A969B308A56C9D03359AD58| |38F8883BC3E3A6A92CEB56E6B2B2A22CA8079FA269D6A09C69A3945773C6F5DC9CA| |6EB0D2CE9DAC2A215B4E30BC515CDD4E6355DB35603B632A32A05B5642E6A4BB1A9| |252D9F9935C99596CF6515D3524BAB6C79A1F2E31672D94FEFA8EDB9F2948568238| |CC8E2676F5593C580C7D65A0699231970081C66FEA21C89737CD235AEE351C07966| |7D9ED958601E5699A24F082F72BDC895912BFF27778C127DF0EA7B435EA2B238F41| |67CC74CBE67767D609EF5F22955726AB625BB4EED0EB8CBECDC03F799565A883AEC| |535DC46B6B7554A44162AD21CCF3FCA4F9A1F9A19DA3E901CE95029DECFB0838416| |3417809C27F13FC37FDC3BF87F62BC4FFF0854EF0FE1F3D099E621E3B0D9E610E8D| |B1672FE586B18EF05D1E33696DCDA8D7FC0CE7FD9CD9F7027C893AAFC0D7CC492AD| |B8ADCD607FC8FB687E02366F231B3EB0933F59429939708CE3DF291B5F64FE06766| |C717F02BB8C65C21CF51AC238A7D9EA2A118F63286738DE35CE338D7F81FE79AA4C| |D4FA04E0275CAD4CBDDF0D58D7EEC413FF6A01F7BD08F29F4630AFDD845F5D2D88F| |F42E7BEDFD06EE81FBCCBEEFCCC11FCC20F54E3F72FBD7591BD80037C12DE46C833| |BCC04FD37837564B08E711A1A86368CBB9DA0EBC617B55C6E975D77BF4C8F98F94B| |9995ABF75A48B6B2565FAD204492ABAEBBB5346B1B6EED220529596C3A9A24E2B80| |9A09A729CDDEEADDEB6F2748886A1979A9D78D4151F0F3BF19DCA7CE4DE4F38F15C| |BD33E78A2BBEEA8A2FB9E2DF4D21FAE0| This build has hover and you could, again, drop mighty leap for fly. You'd also have to drop weaken resolve and unleash potential, and pick-up evasive maneuvers to keep the slot for the LotG.
