  1. Certain keyboard keys especially the chord ones (as in Shift in this example) have multiple aliases so make sure you /unbind those first. SHIFT, LSHIFT You mentioned that pressing SHIFT only is triggering an action (and it seems like you didn't want that). Type or /showbind LSHIFT. If your system chat does NOT say Nothing, then unbind it. Start from scratch
  2. Thanks for bringing this up! better UI QoL, happier life
  3. Enjoying the Lady Grey Task Force (LGTF) revamp, and ship navigation/tension was pretty fun. Not sure if it is supposed to disable all temp/travel powers though - but the prestige powerslide worked so I was able to move faster than my irl jogging speed lol.
  4. Yes, precisely why I wanted to make this post earlier. Go to Options, Windows, and Power section. You can edit "Power Recharge Timer" setting to finetune what you want.
  5. Options - Windows, Recharge Timer. In case you were wondering like me - you can now finetune options like which powers get a recharge timer, colour coding, etc. By default it was show time for longer than 1 minute or something to that effect, but I prefer to see it always so I changed it here. Power Tray labels can also show the actual key binding for customized binds! Still looking to find more QoL things that make experience that much better. Appreciate this one
  6. When I first entered the Grandville headquarters area to check out the patron plaques, this was when I knew I belonged to red side. I still haven't scoured all the nooks and crannies yet but the awe of the spiderweb architecture outside and the big lobby with giant statues indoors - what an impression. This was the equivalent of that hit of inspiration when you visit Anor Londo in Dark Souls for the first time for me. "Terminal is closed." Also there is something weirdly comforting about getting to see queues of people, very close to home yet hilarious to see.
  7. This is the great thing - old and new, hero and villain - regardless of where we came from or where we at at in the game, everyone is free and encouraged to interact and enjoy spending time in the game.
  8. Although I didn't have this in mind when I "came home" to Homecoming, it is certainly true - that you can count on even the strangers in the game and the chars you've never seen before in LFG teams to be decent people (incl kheldians) that you can either form friendship with or simply enjoy a session of TF. And a game of enormous variety in choices which can leave some with analysis paralysis, but if you can take it at your own pace... boy, it's got an immense amount of replayability. For me this is the goldilocks of the games in many aspects - and the community being the forefront of that.
  9. I agree, even if the going price/highest bid is slightly less than the "garbage dump" (i.e. NPC shop) value, I still list it hoping that someone who needs it will be able to snatch it off and craft something good for themselves. It is true though that I have been on the other side to buy up cheap recipes and chuck it to the hungry quartermaster near me... And part of the journey is certainly doing it all over again i.e. altitis
  10. With a bit of time and intention to delve in the powerset you plan on using, you can also create a mock PVP character which will start you at L50. See details in screenshot - allowing you to get a feel for the specifics/how powers would fit into your tray slots etc. Check off "Temporal Warrior (PVP only)". After you checked the powersets out, you can return to char creation and create a normal one (and start grinding!)
  11. Not the hero we needed, but the hero we deserved. Honestly a nice trick that I didn't know before - thanks
  12. By the time OP visits this page again, they should be well into their 20s after a few DFB and posi runs! That's the way cookie crumbles with exp buffs nowadays. Still the level 10 costume deals are appreciated - you can really see how your outfits looks in different light settings in the early mission runs.
  13. Today I had a disconnect during a TF - only I lost connection and rest of the team was fine. Just a one-off. Rubberbanding is definitely noticeable at times. (Torchbearer server)
  14. I was stuck on this mission too. Inside IDF ship (where the commanders are), you must go downstairs and hook a U turn on the right hand side of the ship and there are 3 more enemies including an engineer. Unless you clear out this ship, the mission won't end. It was difficult for me to find because I made the commander come upstairs and fight me and didn't realize there was an engineer to kill - oops. This is finnicky because you cannot view the map inside the ship. When in doubt - hug the walls...
