If only i ware a coder, and had the time and resources to start a new server i would absolutely do that. As it stands we have a better shot at getting Elon addicted to CoH and maybe then he can spend some spare change to modernize and expend this game to new hights. That would certainly be unbelievable. As for advertising other ganes. WoW is one of the few that hardly needs advertising i think. This is just my honest gamer to gamer recommendation, as Im now in my 50s and having been a life long gamer i think WoW is defenitly one game that everyone that haven't played it yet should try. Especially WoW Classic.

You should defenitly try WoW classic. Fantastic character progression, talent trees, different animation per race, racial abilities, rideable horses, and crap ton of other mounts both ground and air, vast number of dungeons, raids and people to team with to experience them all. Extremely active and well balanced pvp. I mean there is a reason WoW has been and still is the #1 MMORPG since it's launched. I would still be playing it if I had time unfortunately that game is best for people that are unemployed or retired. As for endurance I don't know why it even exists or hase to be a thing in this game, I mean we already have cooling on a lot of powers, si just add more cool downs and adjust some things and turn the damn endurance to a %chance proc bar or plus damage or 100% crit chance of double dot damage or whatever once full for 15-30 seconds and rinse and repeat. Thats what i would do if i owned this game. Hell if i win a powerball i buy it, do that snd much more to tirn it in to modern mmorpg whilr preserving all the things that peopke love about it other then the endurance bar haha

Well, just like this game, it has many classes, much better character progression, talen trees, tons of dungeons, raids, balanced pvp system, and over all extremely robust endgame. Getting to max level is where the jurney begins. O ya snd you get to ride horses, other animals, monstrosities and ride flying dragons. What is not to like. And 100 milion registered accounts by the year of our lord 2014

Fantastic. Thank you for your experienced driven wisdom. I will add another edn reducer to my attacks and I think you are right that might solve the issue and take me to 50, as several Axe attacks take 15+ end per swing

You never played WoW ??? WooiWoo you must be last of maybe 3 gamer humans left alive that haven't yet play WoW at some point. Well good for you because that means when you deside to dive in, you are in for a treat. I mean it's only the best MMORPG in history of human kind. I strongly suggest WoW classic up to and including the Litch King expansion. As for Champions, ya I did that as well and couple other lesser here games. Got depressed on how much of a letdown it was comparing it to CoH/CoV and gave up on it. CoH was thr clear Dimond in the rough even though I only got couple of toons in to 30s before game was no more. Thus game to this day has still do much to offer and is sk unique that with some imagination and investment from a rich folk it could be put back on the map amd legitimate contented for one of today's top most still in my opinion. Obviously graphics updates, innovation , new dungeons and raids etc.. etc.. maybe even armor peaces and sets with stats eventually and I think we have a winner. Problem is I think that people who have this vision don't have the money and the ones who have the money don't have the vision.

I'm currently at work and won't be in town for couple of weeks to see exactly what I got there. Going by memmory. I do believe I have 1x recharge slotted in 3 or 4 of my powers with IOs. In any case thank you all for your input and suggestions. I see eat I can do to remedy the situation. Worst case I guess I take out the recharge and slot 2x -reduction for now.

Same issues here as a returning noob. Dont particularly enjoy this game mechanic myself, its unnecessary and redandant having cooldowns on powers already. Convert blue bar and all blue bar related set bonusses, tics etc in to proc % chance or once the bue bar filles upp 100% more proc or damage or crit etc.. for 15-30 seconds for example and just add more cooldowns to powers that need it etc.. to compensate for endurance removal. -
They are in fast IOs as you say. Not SOs I'm still learning to defrinciate, and are working perfectly fine. Still not well enough to adress the out of whack hoping nature of this power set making the leveling experience less than enjoyable. I also have 38 Arachnos Firtunata and the endurance issues are not nearly as bad. It's actually quite fun to play that one for the most part. As stated. Thete is no good damn reason to hinder the basic use of all the powers one aquires throughout progression of leveling. It's terrible game design, mechanics, outdated, emersion braking, dissipointing and outright not enjoyable. You like it cool. I do not. We can agree tk disagree. Personally I hope they change this by either lowering endurance usage of at least the worst offenders significantly or outright removing endurance from the game by converting it to some other temp proc resource etc.. for example once your bad fills up you can chose to unleash it and supercharge your abilities to do double damage for 15-30 seconds, or crit for 15-30 seconds or double dot tics or whatever. Imagination is the limit. Still love the game. Still going to play it. Still going to log out in frustration playing some sets in 30s and rolling something else. Good day, cheers. Love you all. I'm currently I'm my 30s and just got my top offensive power maybe a level ago. Not sure if all the endurance problems solvers are applicable pre 50 but I look in to it. So ty. As I said to the other gentleman I think there is enough power ups to look forward to at 50 and far beyond building and perfecting your character ( i assume as I don't yet have a 50 ) that there is no need to hinder the 1--50 leveling process with extensive endurance taxation that prevents you from being able to use your enjoyable rotations incorporating your newly acquired powers whether offensive, defensive taggles, utility toolkit etc.. Which would make the gaming and leveling experience much more enjoyable .

I'm glad to hear it gets better at 50 for the endurance hogs. I would imagine it does. It doesent change my experience thus far playing Axe/WP even with 3 slotted stam with lol 25 sos and recovery 3xsloted with lol 25 sos the ones that don't diminish with leveling. And 1xend reduce sos in all my attacks. I still blow through end much to fast using my top 3 attacks on cooldown. I know I'm only in my 30s and no doubt it will get better at 50 with time and investment. What I'm saying the progression should not be hindered by not being able to use an enjoyable rotations on cooldown by lack of resource but rather by the fact that you are just less powerful then a lvl 50 seasoned fully invested character due to the fact that you just don't have the set bonuses, top of the line damage, accuracy, recharge, props, D#, resists etc.. there is enough holding you back without having to hinder the game enjoyment by not being able to fully utilize your offensive, defensive and any utility/cc toolkit once acquired due to lack of any resources.

Yes sir. Progression is good, plenty progression to be had making attacks hit garder, making them more accurate or slowing them with secondary effects etc.. etc.. there however should not be mechanics other the cool downs or countet effects emitted by enemies preventing or limiting your basic use of these abilities and especially nothing as boring and silly as lack of basic endurance to use them. That is outdated, broken, boring game design and needs to be addresses. Or leave it as is. Pretend it'd OK because few thousand people got used to it or are tolerating it and keep the game in dark ages and watch it whine down and die this time for good over the next few years most likly.

Development is good, progression is good but the jurney should be enjoyable and emersion not o great I finaly got this powers!! O crap can't realy use it much because it's so endurance intensive it drains my bar so damn fast and it comes back so damn slow I'm better just using the same 3-4 attacks i had from the early levels because, well it just feel a lot smother and more enjoyable accept for the disappointment of having waited to get this top powers just having them take space on my action bar. But wait!! I hear that eventually when I get to 50 and farm my ars off and some say I can afford the right enhancement sets than it will feel better and it will be almost good unless you well want to use this top 3-4 powers in rotation without some fillers that you don't really want to use because we'll in this case it still won't feel like a superhero but we'll almost. Sorry. The jurney in many cases is the meat&potatoes of the game and even it if isn't or it isn't for all, it defenitly is for many and right know power sets like Axe, Soldier Spider and I'm sure several others are just trash when it comes to feeling progressively good even with SOs.

I'm glad you find not being able to consistently and meaningfully being able to use your big hitting abilities that you ware looking forward aquring while leveling enjoyable once you got them and I'm.glad you find sitting there winded waiting for endurance tics so you are able to use your basic senility to hopefully fin8sh the mob before it kills you fun, personally I fo not. It's not a good game design. Thete is plenty of other things to that make you feel progression such as hitting harder, being more accurate, getting tougher etc.. not to have to deal with not being able to use your attack rotations or having to turn off your tangled to be able to use your attacks more, not constantly just more. It's totally ridiculous, emersion braking and not fun. I know des thousand of ypu got used to it as people will prety much get used to anything giving time but that doesn't mean it's good. There is a reason only fes thousand play this game and not hundreds of thousands.

I like or even love CoH for what it is. A great game with a crap tol of fun to be had. However, just like every game it isn't perfect and not everyone likes everything about everything. My point of view as a returning player but mostly new returning player since in the live game I never got to 50 before it shot down. As it relates to WoW, there are great many things to love about Classic wow and up to the Lich King and many not to like pass that point. However you have a hard time convincing me that you miss the times in classic wow where you had to sit and drink to replenish your mana bar constantly. Whitish wax slow, painstaking process along the lines of endurance in CoH while leveling as new player without set bonuses here. That's assuming you are even old enough to have been around when WoW lounched and actually got to experience that. I was, so I'm speaking from. Experience not here say. To further my point, as great as CoH is, thousands of people play it vs millions or 10ns of millions that play WoW and clearly there are reasons why that is. Furthermore if a mainstay of s game has to be endurance management then that means the game doasent have enough to offer and is to shallow in its other aspects to hold the attention of its players. My opinion, my vantage point.

3 slit stsm with sos 3 slot recovery with sos 1 reducer in each attack sos All the ones that don't diminish with leveling. Level 25 sos 32% ters if I remember correctly. I'm not saying there shouldn't be feeling of character progression. There defenitly should be, however standing around winded not being able to finish a group of mobs or waiting fir tics of end to use lowest ability to kill thr mob hopefully before it kills you, and not being able to use amd enjoy your big hitters that you ware looking forward to leveling up I'd not fun, it's emersion braking, frustrating and over all bad game design. There is a reason only few thousand people play CoH and millions play WoW. And before you all jump on me and tell to go play WoW, I have, for many years, it's a full time job, it's a life for which I don't have time. Besides I love CoH and most everything about it. Still great game, still a lot of fun in so many ways, however that doesrnt mean it can't be improved or criticized for its shortcomings. And for me, as a returning player after what is it 15 years or so, The are glaring issues that should be addressed to make the game smoother and more enjoyable and one of these is correcting some of the sets massive, out of whack endurance usages such as Axe, Spider Soldier and I'm sure several others I'm not currently.aware off in order to make playing these sets enjoyable while leveling throughout the jurney of kebel8ng and not only, well look onve you get to 50 and farm your ars off and save up billion of influance snd buy this and that sets then at that point you will be able to use most of you attacks most of the time as you stated? Seriously!! Wtf. People can get used to everything, they adapt to everything no matter of how out if whack or broken it is and eventually think that's fine and just the way it is. Well it's not OK, it's broken, it's been broken for a very long time and it's time to fix it. My opinion, my vantage point.

No. I just like being able to use my rotations and enjoy using my new acquired powers while I'm leveling, as I'm leveling instead of sitting there winded with emersion braking downtime between each group of mobs or even not being able to through a group of mobs because of out of whack endurance issues and having to wait for tics to be able to use lowest ability to hopefully finish the mob before I drop dead. Key note is: emersion braking, excessive downtime!

I can appreciate that you feel differently about it and actually enjoying it. That is nothing wrong with that and we are all different at least somewhat which makes sense, life would be hells boring if we ware all the same. That said I'm sure everyone played WoW at one point in their gaming carrier and I don't know if upu remember how much of a drag the blue mana bar was on the gaming experience. It took so much fro emersion in my opinion. Later they solved this to the point where it wosent an issue whatsoever and it felt like you could go fighting for days before having to warry about it. That didn't brake the game but made it better and more emersive in my opinion. All though classic wow has great many things to offer that are better then the layer expansions especially pass Lich King, some of the later quality of life improvements defrnitly make sense and are greatly appropriate. I think making endurance maybe not zero but at least much less of an issue especially for the most endurance hungry sets such as Axe, Spider Soldier and I'm sure several more I haven't had a chance to play yet a lot more enjoyable gaming experience for most players. Agein my opinion looking at the world though my eyes. One vantage point of billions.

From a perspective of a new/returning player. Endurance is far to much of an issue, it takes away from make enjoyment big time especially in low to mid levels as you aquire your last few powers. Example Axe with WP secondary. Both stamina and whatever the name of the WP power power that increases endurance recovery, I have both slotted with SOs all my Axe attacks are slotted with SOs endurance reduces and I still blow through it within 1.5-2 rotations and unable to attack. What ta he'll? How is this enjoyable?, finally you get your top powers only to not be able to use them because the endurance costs are do out of whack? I'm sure there will be plenty of veterans jumping in here having years of experience unlimited influance all sorts of enhancements sets bonuses telling me how this isn't an issue. Well I'm looking at it from a new/returning players perspective and I can tell you it takes away from the game enjoyment in a big way. From all the ways a game can be balanced this one is balanced around endurance starvation? Why? Powers have cool down already, on top we need to be endurance starved? I know not all power sets are as bad as this one, some are much more reasonable , but honestly this needs to be fixed and brought foen to manageable/enjoyable levels in my opinion. It's a game after all amd fun&enjoyment should be it's #1 focus not frustration. I like to hear from a log of NEW and ir Returning players mostly here rather them a poop loads of have it vets to share their perspective on the endurance issue.

Honestly, I think you just like to argue in order to satisfy your owne ego and conveniently skip, omit and otherwise ignore other aspects of what I said that are actually feasible, are good idea and would provide another wat to play the game for many. Especially the vests that been here for years and could use a breth of fresh air. Go play Path of Exile for couple of weeks and see how they implement their leagues and see that they are extremely popular amd no one is losing anything by playing them.

That's a very narrow, shortsided way of looking at it. Obviously if you create a server like this many issue such as farm sitting will need to be addressed. I'm not going to write up a 30 page brakedoem of all the changes and adjustments that should be made or need to be made if you ware going forward with something like this. Clearly it would need to be though out, scrutinized, tested and adjusted as you go forward so that it actually make sense.

Ok, you don't like this idea, no issue. Go with the first one, upon death your took gets auto transfered to a server of your choice that you have pre-selected upon creation of that toon. I see very little downside to this, and for many it will become defects server of choice for creation of a new toon regardless of what server you ultimately you chose to end up on. This will sllowe you to try hard-core and test your skill, potentially make new connections with people from other servers while here, they could even add extra rewards per completing certain milestones on hard-core (not easily obtainable) such as special recipies and or enhancements, weapon and costume skins etc... A new reason for veterans especially to play the game, create more toons and live little on the edge while trying to obtain special rewards to for bragging rights etc...

How about if you die your character gets kicked out to your regular server that you pre selected for such action during the creation process?, alternatively it gets kicked out (auto transfered) to a random regular server for even more flavour to which then is bound. This is believe would allowe and even entice people to play hard-core and test their luck and skills with a very reasonable consequence to dying and simultaneously potentially over time populating some of the near empty servers. Might even bring more people in to the game or bavm in to the game. I believe if I remember correctly there are games out there that do this if similar type of thing right now.
