Yesterday I got in a right mood. I just rolled Justice Bee and wanted to take fly before bed. I had very limited time. Only I chose the tier 3 primary instead. Could I get any mission with enough mobs in, or mobs at all to quickly get to bed? Could I find an easy AE arc for a lowbie? Noooooooo. So I had to reroll and spank mobs in Atlas to get back to level 4. Not making that mistake again!

[Setting a power to fire automatically]

I'm a shield user so my mez protection is a click. I am aware of how to get the green ring around the power by 'hold Ctrl + mouse left click'. Is there a way to do this by just using the keyboard alone?

 

Trying to program one of my gaming keyboard's macro keys to activate all toggles and to activate my click mez so it stays on auto.

Put simply I don't think coh is modern enough to attract much new blood. I get the piss taken out of me at work by younger gamers for playing coh. It's in a light hearted way but it shows that its only appealing to the old guard because, well, its old. I've been waiting for a relevant thread to bring that up. Not sure much could be done because to get more people interested I'm sure the answer would be to change the game itself.

 

Take a look at Final Fantasy. They had to stop selling it because its so popular. It's the new, up to date kid on the block.

My main is a shield/psi tank. Everyone gets hung up on the robots thing. They forget that as a brute or tank you will outlast them so its not a big deal.

I'm an order picker. Since my knees have gotten better and I'm back upto speed I get bloody tired. I tend to only play on my 2 days off or on leave due to that.

Atlas Park as a journalist. Low level villains and a ton of heroes always hanging around. Plus most parts look nice.

Watched an interview recently where he debunked the whole 'stars in anything' myth. Apparently there's plenty he turns down.

Its not bad at all. Taunt just before you use it to keep some aggro on you and heal to full. Used to be the ultimate afk tool back in the day when there was no 30 second limit on it. Ice has big gaps in its protection so great healing helps mitigate that.

Back on live I didn't take tough and weave on my ice tank, I took manuvers. That's a mistake I didn't repeat.

For my main I have my tanking and proc monster builds. Once I can be bothered I'm going to make a tankroller sort of build. Presence pool, earth epic and psi melee as a solid base for it.

I like having the incarnate system as we needed some sort of endgame. That said I don't think it should be taken any further. Things are easy enough as it is and I wouldn't want to see that getting worse by basically becoming gods.

Is that with or without an expensive build? I'm finally getting around to saving for and expensive build for mine (about time, was my old main on live) and he's far weaker than my other tanks when comparing standard IO builds.

When the servers merged back on live I was changed to Axewrath1. ☹️ Other than that I doubt I'll see another TK Cavalier running around.

I have Gaussian's in buildup so it procs 9/10 times. Very handy to know when the buff is coming, too.

No one mentioning Masterminds? On live I had Necro/Poison and that single target healing was a full time job in itself. So much fuss I've rerolled him as Demons/Thermal now.

I wouldn't do it as there's a chance it would annoy people. Also you've no idea if that build is their main, solo or weird experimental build. So odd choices may not be odd to them.

 

I know having things pointed out would annoy me, if it happened repeatedly that is.

When I rolled my Ice/Axe tank on Live it was before the IO (and long before the Incarnate system), and he was frustrating as hell, being used to maining a Stone tank.  With no DDR, even low level CoT were a problem.  I made it to 50 (because I'm a stubborn fool who tries to never give up), but then shelved him and never played him, again.

 

I'm intrigued with ice melee, however, and may just roll a WP/Ice or Inv/Ice, instead.

 

My first tank/main was Ice/Axe, too. It was fun but also frustrating at times. Again it was pre IO's but now some of those holes can be plugged. Oh and I also picked super speed when we couldn't buy jetpacks. Made things very hard on myself lol.
