  1. Working on my Widow my reported defense is way higher than it actually is. I've heard that it's common knowledge that Mind Link is overstating how much defense it gives, but I see that Mask Presence is also doing the same (sort of), well at least when in combat. Out of combat the listed defense is correct but once the stealth drops you lose 2/3 of the stated defense. Wasn't sure if this is something fixable, or even important enough to look at. Now that I'm aware of this I am able to do the math manually, just a bit of a pain.
  2. I've got my Night Widow up to level 37 and have a tentative build for 50 made up but my theorycrafting skills aren't the best. So I submit my attempt here for critique/review/suggestions. From what I've read it seems that the Fortunata path is better but that's not the theme for this character. Also question the usefulness of Gaussians chance for build up, a random once per minute proc that only lasts 5 seconds. Is there something I'm missing about it? I'm not sure if lack of healing will be much of an issue. Will having a stack of greens be sufficient? Something tells me even with the scaling resistance buffs that I'm rather short of serious survivability against difficult opposition. Perma Mind Link I'd prefer, especially for when I team up. Nice to help others. I do plan on exemplaring down for task forces and such so I'm not sure about the power order. Between temp powers and ninja run I'm not concerned about a travel power. Are the patron powers needed? I took one just because though I doubt it's a power I'd really use. Anyway thank you in advance.
  3. Wow reading that at 4 am makes my head hurt, but I think I understand the premise. I'll have to revisit it when I'm refreshed. Thanks for the info.
  4. Maybe I'm missing something and if so I hope someone can enlighten me. Having Mind Link on perma seems to be generally desired so as to keep defenses at least at soft cap. I see many builds use Hasten to achieve this. However you can only have one power selected on auto so why would people use both? In the middle of combat I almost never check to see if Hasten or my long charge defensive power is ready to be reactivated. Too many other things to be paying attention to.

So I'm at 34 and seem to have hit a major weakness. I'm getting thrashed by Psi enemies, as well as getting hit with taunt and confuse. Can't expect to be good vs everything but I'm hoping for some suggestions on how to better defend against this. Also, if there is any general advice or builds I can look at that would be greatly appreciated.
  6. This might sound like a stupid question but I've never looked into keybinds before. After the anit-khelds are down does tabbing still work on normal enemies? As an aside I've always wondered what the target priority is when you press tab. Is there some sort of hierarchy to selecting enemies or is it random?
  7. I don't know if it's possible to add costume pieces yet, but I'd like to request a Jackal head and the Egyptian crown with the snake without the cloth hanging down. If not able to I understand, I'm mostly just happy that CoH is back. Thank-you.
