  1. Agreed! This is being worked on right now as part of the searching functionality 🙂
  2. This is correct; you would have to import your build then mark it as public before it becomes searchable.
  3. The primary goal of my project is to be an online place to view character profiles, builds, and other information from in-game (essentially what City Vault was meant to be before it was scrapped during Live, or comparable to CIT). If build planning / editing were added it would be much further down the road. If the UI is something that PK (or possibly someone else working on a similar project) is interested in, it should be fairly straight-forward to share it so that it's components could be utilized for other projects. Right now it's written with React and it doesn't have any other dependencies (yet). An easier way for third-party developers to access the power data that they need for their projects is something that I've been wanting to do, but doing it a clean and low-maintenance way isn't something we've had the time to figure out just yet.
  4. Powers that create any entity (pets or pseudopets) should display the created entity's powers.
  5. Nope, this is something that I've started working on over the weekend and is unrelated to any existing projects. I am focusing on this being a build and character profile browser first and foremost; anything else would come later, after it's released as a functional browser / viewer. Re: wanting to see numbers - yes, that is the next thing that I will be focusing on with this project 🙂
  6. 1. This is something that I've already added. Keep in mind that the UI really is unfinished though; the static colour would ideally be switched out with something more aesthetically pleasing. 2. Yes, this is on the list!
  7. Hey all! I wanted to give you a sneak-peek at something that I’ve started working on this weekend in order to gather the thoughts and feedback from the community on what you’d like to see in a tool like this. Pictured below is a very early version of an online build browser that can import builds from characters on any of our 5 live shards. The backing data (power data, icons, etc) is automatically updated as we patch the live game, so the browser is always up to date. I haven’t gotten to the point of computing and showing the attribute values (such as defense, recharge, and individual power numbers) yet but that’s something that I’m currently working on. My current plan with this project is to get it to the point where it can be used as a fully functioning online build browser and viewer (where you can search for and view public builds) and release it as such. Here are some screenshots of a build loaded from Excelsior; keep in mind that the the UI is very incomplete. The number on the right side of each power is the level that the character obtained the power and the number under enhancements is that enhancement's level (if it's not attuned). (Yes, I'm aware that the Titan-O has the wrong border, I'm working on it!) I should also say that this is still in very early development and we cannot provide an ETA for release of any part of it yet. The back-end is mostly complete but the front-end is still early in design and development. After this first stage I may continue developing it into a full build editor and planner, but in the meantime I’m looking forward to hearing what you all think and incorporating your ideas and feedback!
  8. Heya! It sounds like you're having issues connecting to our AuthServer host. Do you mind checking that you are able to ping "live.auth.cohhc.gg"? (You can do this by opening Windows PowerShell or Command Prompt and entering "ping live.auth.cohhc.gg"). Thanks
  9. The icon should now show across the site - thank you for the report! Edit: The white background on the icons should be resolved later today.
  10. Orange cats are the best, especially fluffy long-haired ones! Very cute 🙂
  11. I usually spend most of my game-time on CoH and Overwatch, but I'm also currently doing a modded expert Terraria play-through; it's been a while since I've played it and it's nice for just relaxing 🙂
  12. This error should be resolved. The back-end for the Beta Account Center was offline after patch day.
  13. Hey everyone! I hope you have all been enjoying Page 4 of Issue 26! Your feedback, criticism, and bug reports for the patch have been invaluable and we greatly appreciate it. This month we will be including the invoice that we recently received from our primary law firm for their services rendered through December 31st. Additionally, we have engaged another law firm that specializes in Delaware corporation law and non-profit conversions. The retainer fee for this firm is $1,000 and it will be paid using: $964 from our NPO reserve fund (you may recall that we collected this fund in the donation round for July of 2019, and it has been kept in reserve since that time) $36 which will be included in the donation target for February This first payment to the new firm is just a retainer, the total cost of working with them will likely be around $2,000 - $2,500 over the next few months. I saw that some people were confused about what the bank withdraws on our PayPal screenshots were, so I wanted to clarify - withdraws to our bank are to pay our lawyers via wire transfer (lawyers don’t accept PayPal, because PayPal sucks*). January 2020 Breakdown Last month we accepted $5,160.23 in donations - $57.54 over our target for the month. Our Google Voice line cost increased to $12.69 per month and the security / administration software to $10.06 per month going forward. Here is the breakdown of what the January funds went towards: $4,820.39 to OVH for our hosting $148.20 to our lawyers for their services rendered from Sept. 30th to Nov. 8th $96.00 for our Google G-Suite Business account + $12.69 for Google Voice $30.00 for our 1&1 IONOS domain & outbound email service $10.00 for our Atlassian Jira Cloud instance (10-user) $10.06 for security / administration software February 2020 As previously stated, we received the next invoice from our primary law firm for their services rendered in December totaling $953.32; this will be paid in early February. Additionally, we will be adding $36 to the donation target for this month to combine with the NPO reserve fund to pay the retainer fee for the new firm that we are going to be working with. Finally, we still have $53.59 overrun from January which will be put towards this month’s donation target. In total, the donation target for February 2020 is $5,914.87. Here is a breakdown of how the funds are allocated: $4,820.39 to OVH for our hosting $953.32 to our lawyers for their services rendered in December $108.69 for our Google G-Suite Business account This includes the $12.69 Google Voice line $36.00 (partial) for the retainer fee $30.00 to 1&1 IONOS for domain services & outgoing email $10.06 for the security / administration software $10.00 for our Atlassian Jira Cloud instance (10-user) Our donation system will be open as of the time of this post with a donation target of $5,914.87 and will automatically close once that target is met. Thank you yet again for your continued support! - The Homecoming Team *An actual conversation with our lawyer: Jimmy: Do you have a PayPal account? Lawyer: <laughs> We’re a law firm, Jimmy.
  14. That is correct, about 15 to 30 minutes. I should have documented this, but it appears I didn't. Thanks!

  19. One of the things I really like about the real life channel in our Discord is all of the people posting pictures of their pets so I figured we should do the same here!
  20. Hello everyone! Today we are releasing the Beta Account Center. This new part of our website will allow you to activate and manage your own Beta account (rather than waiting on us to sync the database), as well as copy characters over from the live servers. The Beta Account Center can be found here and through the navigation bar at the top of the site, under Account Center. Specifically, this is what the new system will let you do: Create a Beta account if you don't have one already. This is done for you automagically when you visit the page for the first time! Synchronize your account information to match your live account. This does not include your characters, but does update your password. You can do this once every 20 minutes. You will not be able to access the Beta Account Center to copy characters while your account is being synchronized. Queue to copy characters from any live shard to beta. You can queue 1 character copy every 20 minutes (subject to change based on load). You are able to copy over any character that is above level 1. We highly recommend logging a character off before initiating a copy. - this will ensure that the copied character is up to date. You can copy the same character over more than once, but only if that character is not already in queue. So what's all this about a queue? Well, because of the load that we are anticipating before our stress test on Saturday, all character copies and synchronize requests are put into a queue. You will be able to see the characters that are queued up for copy on the homepage of the Beta Account Center though the estimated completion time will probably become somewhat inaccurate as the server load increases. Please use this thread to provide feedback and report bugs for the Beta Account Center. We look forward to any feedback that you all have on the new account system and hope to see you all at the stress test on Saturday.
  21. Announcement Here This thread is for providing feedback and reporting bugs for the new Beta Account Center. Thanks!
  22. Hey everyone! I hope you all have enjoyed the winter event so far! If you still need any badges then make sure you get them before next Tuesday (the 31st) as this is when the event will be ending. Our legal fees this month are quite small and we do not have any additional expenses in January, so this month’s donation target will be more in line with where we were before. We have added a Google Voice line to our G-Suite account to have as our dedicated / registered phone number - this will be an additional $10 per month going forward. December 2019 Last month we accepted $9203.16 in donations - $46.43 over our target for the month. The new Google Voice line cost us $7.24 through to January 1st but will be $10/mo going forward. Additionally, the two 1&1 IONOS charges that got cancelled in November charged us early in December, increasing our bill with them for December by $20. Here is the breakdown of what the December funds went towards: $4,820.39 to OVH for our hosting $3,607.05 to our lawyers for their services rendered from Sept. 30th to Nov. 8th $96.00 for our Google G-Suite Business account $75.00 to renew our Invision Community license $50.00 for our 1&1 IONOS domain & outbound email services This includes the two domain fees that got moved back from November $10.00 for our Atlassian Jira Cloud instance (10-user) $8.34 for security / administration software $7.24 for our Google Voice line through January 1st January 2020 We received an invoice from our lawyers for their services rendered in November totalling $148.20; this will be paid in early January. We do not have any additional expenses in January and we have $20.70 overrun from December which will be applied towards the donation target for this month. In total, the donation target for January 2020 is $5,102.69. 23. Hey everyone! Winter is upon us and so too is the Winter event! In case you haven’t read the patch notes or seen it in-game for yourself yet - snow has covered Atlas Park, presents have been scattered throughout our beloved city, and the Winter Horde have arrived! You can read more about it here. As per tradition on the last Saturday of each month, it’s time to go over our finances and donations over the past month and the upcoming month. November 2019 Breakdown Last month we accepted $9,071.36 in donations - $36.06 over our target for the month.
