    It's got a taunt aura, I want to say it's in Evasion?  But it's got one.  I have an SR/Claws Tanker, and she's a blast.

  4. Hello,

     

    I went back to an older character I haven't played in a while.  Her Mids file is from about a year and a half ago.  When I go to open it, I get the following error.  Any idea what's wrong, or if there's any way to set this right?

    EDIT TO ADD: last night I realized if you open an mxd file in Notepad, you can read it.  I'd like to know if the issue is fixable, but the workaround works! 😁

    So just like the subject line says, I have a level 50 Corruptor for whom I have the Alpha slot unlocked, but I don't really see any of the Abilities that are a perfect match.

     

    Musculature looks okay, +Dmg/+EndMod looks kinds nice for this, and I was also eyeing up Spiritual.  Anyone else got some recommendations?

     

    I can show a Mids build for this tonight, I'm away from my game PC at the moment.

     

    Any feedback anyone would care to give, I'd love to hear it.

    In my testing they count as the same status effect meaning you can benefit by other time manipulators doing the effect. In truth its not too much to work around. Temporal healing gives you a nice little defensive boost if your accelerated and it adds up to a 30% uptime for effectively free with chronos on cd.  End of time dmg boost was seemingly small and only seems worth it if someone else is aoe delaying them for other reasons but the extra hold on time stop is nice.

     

    For fire/time i main that and recommend you taking a look at the attached build. dmg is about at the top the build can push out while being extremely durable

  7. Hey folks,

     

    So I'm finally getting around to a */Time Blaster (she's Fire Primary).  One question I have, it seems like the whole set has effects that depend on the special Statuses applied by the T1 and the Build Up (I want to say it's Delayed and Accelerated).

     

    Silly question, the De/Buff set also applies Statuses by those same names.  Will they also provide the additional effects, or did the HC team just reuse the names but they're different things under the hood?

    Thanks.  To be sure, I get Sovera's point that it might not be worthwhile.  Really I just wanted to make sure it would even work before I worried about if it would be worth doing.

     

    Interesting that the Heal proc would work too (Power Transfer, right?), I'd have worried that Murphy's Law was in effect and it was gonna heal the mobs instead of me.  🙂

    If one puts the Energy Manipulator Stun proc piece into Chain Induction, does anyone know whether the stun will trigger on multiple guys?  I've heard it will from the Winter set's Hold proc, just wanted to see if it will for this one, too.

    Thanks, that's kind of how I figured that goes.  On my Blasters, I favor the Sustain options that are "set it and forget it".

  11. If Voltaic Sentinel lasted longer it'd be worth it, but having to cast it every minute gets aggravating quickly, IMO.  Powexec_location at least made it less painful to use but it's still too much.

  13. Hi there,

     

    So I got the 3.0 version of Mids running, but it's doing this weird thing where when I make a new build, every time I place another slot, it takes all the slots I've already placed and auto-arranges them.  This is more than a little annoying.  Is it a feature or a bug?  If the former, how do I stop it?

  14. I have a Stone/Bio brute that's a ton of fun.  I love how the SM powers leave these little bits of crystal debris, that Bio's aura powers pick up and whirl around her.  When she solos, sometimes I'll just stand there for a moment after the fight, watching them go.  It's captivating.  😁

    Well one of my buddies is using the Energy Manipulator proc, for the chance to stun guys.

     

    Calling @Aerobar: I forget if I've ever actually asked this question, but does that work often enough on Volt-Aire that you think it's worth replicating elsewhere?

  16. It's Galvanic that does the bounce for buffs, but I get your point.  Voltaic bugs the crap out of me because it only lasts for a minute at a time.

     

    Not a terrible idea about the sixth slot on SC.  Not sure it takes Annihilation, but if it does that's a good idea.

  17. Yeah, that's what I'm getting at here.  There's some existing mobs/factions that, if making them into Lore pets isn't a "bigger than the Hoover Dam"-sized project, could give good concept/theme-related support to many character ideas.

    So the below is what I've currently got in mind for my El/El/Mu Corruptor.  Not gonna lie, I didn't have a strong plan for what I wanted from him when the time comes to start tricking out sets.  Just took the slots I had and tried to decide what worked well there.

     

    The only power I'm really open to ditching is Voltaic Sentinel.  I've tried, but man I can't get behind having to recast that damn thing every minute.  If it lasted longer, maybe.  If you've got any feedback on how to focus the build/Sets a little more, LMK.
