The password itself isn't the problem, it shows up in dark blue (as dots, of course), just like the  account name. The problem is that the blinking cursor is white against a light gray background, which renders it nearly invisible to me and makes it difficult to tell whether or not I have actually selected the password field.

 

The cursor is a bit easier to see when looking at it straight-on, as in my screenshots, but on the actual login screen, the field is off to the right, which probably contributes to my visibility issue.

Would it be possible to change the color of the blinking cursor in the Account Name/Account Password fields of the game's login screen? As it stands now, at least for me on Windows 10, it's a white cursor on a white background, and nearly impossible to see. I mentioned my OS because I don't know if the cursor color is hardcoded in the game, or if it's taking its cue from the OS. The poor visibility often leaves me typing my password and either nothing happens, or it turns out I'm tagging it onto the end of my account name.

I came up with this guy some time ago, but given his name, "Angel of Dearth", I thought the costume I came up with was way too shiny. So I modified it to something more suitable:

I've definitely seen this happen on that outdoor "woodland park" map. I'll completely clear out that first side trail into the woods, then finish the rest of the map, only to have it fail to complete because I haven't "defeated all". I'll go back to the beginning and find more mobs wandering out of that trail that I already cleared.

Not long ago, I was thinking that, at the very least, they could perhaps just add a bit more space between the buttons. There have been more than a few times when I've aimed for the "Quit to Character Select" button and overshot by a pixel or two, and found myself at the login screen.

I have, on several occasions, spotted Supa Trolls somehow getting past the north tram drones, entering the station, and actually boarding the tram.

[Fire Fire problem]

My very first character on Live, and again on Homecoming, was my Fire/Fire/Fire blaster, Flaminatrix.

 

Every other blaster since has been a bit of a letdown.

 

Flaminatrix soloed the New Praetorians arc in her mid-30s; it was such a challenge even for her that I've been reluctant to try it again on any of my other alts.

A while back, I actually went through all of my image posts and replaced all of the PNGs with JPEGs. Royal pain, but it freed up a lot of space. Since then, I convert everything to JPEG before posting.

Oh god yes. I tried those phoenix wings on one character, and they looked amazing and suited her look perfectly. Then I took her into a mission and I couldn't see what I was doing.

But I was fighting high-level Circle of Thorns yesterday, and one particular CoT mob suddenly inspired a character idea.

Wait, is this why I kept getting tip notices yesterday that never actually showed up in my tips list?

[Getting Tip notifications, but tips aren't appearing in list]

I've been getting Tip notifications when punching open-world, gray-conning mobs in lower-level zones. One of these gave me the exploration tip for the new "Rookie" badge in Atlas Park, but since then, in other zones (so far, Talos and Brickstown), I'm getting multiple notices but the tips aren't actually showing up in my list.

 

I assume these tips are supposed to be for the new badges, since you need an appropriate level-range mob to get alignment tips (not sure about holiday tips).

Decided to try out the new Sybil costume, and had to decide which of my alts it suited. Came up with a couple.

 

Here's Notta Planet (she's the "representative" of Pluto in my Solar System-based team). This costume was originally just 100% Spectrum pieces + a hat. I added the Sybil stuff on top of it, and changed the hat, and I like how it turned out:

 

 

And then there was Meskhenet (formerly called "Ankheza" a name I hated). She's Egyptian, and so I thought it worked well for her, too:

Heh. I tried Infiltration on a couple alts, and respecced out of it as soon as I could (replaced it with plain Stealth). Too damn fast!

 

And speaking of flying, I really wish it would be disabled for "helper" NPCs in missions. I find it somewhat infuriating when I enter a room that has three levels to it, and Overdrive immediately aggros on something above or below. Off she zips, and I don't know where she went (because she was behind me when she took off), and then I soon see "So-and-so has defeated Overdrive" in the chat box, and now whoever she was fighting is coming after me while I'm in the middle of fighting a different spawn. Thanks for the "help", Overdrive!

At the moment, not so much. As a severe altoholic, once I exceeded 120 alts I decided to make myself slow down on rolling new ones and focus on leveling the ones I have. So my main thing right now is just getting characters to 50 (doing this in groups of ten alts), then moving on to the next batch. Current 50s, when I get the itch to play one of them, just get logged out at the nearest convenient logout spot when I'm done. Of my first ten 50s, nine of them have completed the DA story; the tenth is working on that, so he's logged out in the DA hospital. 50s #11-30 haven't started DA yet. I'm currently working on #31-40, and they're all currently at levels 40-42.

I keep most of my alts logged out in police stations, for the XP bonus. I recently cycled all of my alts through hospitals for the ally heal/rez powers. I'd previously ignored those because I play exclusively solo, but after 4+ years I made the discovery that those powers also work on NPC allies.

[What Movement Ability For Missions]

I just jog at normal speed through indoor missions. At my age I just don't have the reflexes for moving too quickly in tight spaces like caves. I even used to get annoyed with certain auto (non-toggle) defense powers that grant a speed buff, because I can't turn it off (one of the Super Reflexes powers does this), but I've gotten used to that over time.

 

My ranged characters use Hover to get around in missions. I don't use Hover on my melee characters, simply because I don't like the way melee looks while Hovering. That's just a personal taste thing. An exception to ranged/Hover is my ranged weapons characters (Assault Rifle, Beam Rifle, Dual Pistols). Again, just a personal taste thing; I think somebody using a weapon should have their feet planted. I also don't use hover on Water Blast characters. I think I also skipped Hover on my one Seismic Blast character.

I've had the same thought. Like when I get directed to a Nemesis base located in that northern Skyway building with the Longbow helicopter on the roof.
