  1. If you're looking to be a pure support, try dark or water blast. You can slot an extra 6% heal bonus in the heal from those sets. @dan petro has an amazing emp/water build he'd probably post for you.
  2. That *IS* a pretty sweet banana you got there. Well, for some reason when GM Jimmy announced all of you, you didn't have a registered account yet. Hence, you weren't added to the Dev Tracker yet... well, you are now. I didn't even know that existed, lol
  3. Yeah, the issue with the +5ing is it still consumes lots of resources and will never be as good as a ++ HO
  4. I guess the 24 hour timer now lets you take the same reward but just doesn't give you the HO. Just did an LRSF and got a Military Encouragement for the reward, lol.
  5. GGs! Sick turnout, multiple simultaneous 8v8s for most of the night. Praise Dan Petro.
  6. Really whichever of the options in the title is most technically feasible. If neither is, I'd even consider making them purchasable. The majority of HO enhancements are pretty much useless in current end game builds, which both makes it a really lackluster reward choice (most of the time), and causes insane inflation of certain HO prices on the market (see acc/dam HOs selling for 80 million).
  7. pros: -big aoe slow toggle, that also gives you absorb -Pretty good aoe potential -Ki push is both good and hilarious -You can kick someone’s face then backflip off it Cons: -Reach for the limit kind of sucks compared to build up, ESPECIALLY when considering a IOed level 50 build -pretty terrible for single target dps -can’t really make use of -res procs in any reliable capacity Conclusions: On a tier list, the set would be something like B+. If you want to make the “optimal” /martial blaster, I’d pair it with something that has good single target damage, and some aoe to round it out. Ice or fire would be best, psi if you want a more single target focus.
  8. I noticed this too. It’s a shame, because AR would actually be a top tier set for once if the snipe animation was 0.67 like it was supposed to be
  9. Melee isn’t useless. It’s not in a great spot, but it’s far from useless. Contrary to what has been said, Stalkers are easy-mode right now because everyone is using sets that rely on really long animations, and most players, frankly, have pretty bad moment. AS is really easy to get off - even if you can’t get it off - many of the t9s can crit for huge damage and and be slotted with many procs. Stalkers are also very survivable in zone and arena fights of all sizes. There’s a number of scrapper/brute/tank builds that are decent in small skirmishes and 1v1s, due to their damage output and being basically unkillable. In big team settings, scrappers and tanks are basically reduced to being taunt bots. While that’s boring, it’s also mega broken because you can completely cancel a player out with minimal effort. Travel suppression doesn’t exist in zones anymore btw, and in arena matches it gets turned off too.
  10. Any blaster can attain permanent instant snipe. Slot a kismet proc (probably in combat jumping or maneuvers). Pick up tactics. Use enhancement boosters to get more +tohit out of w/e set you slot in it (I personally like adjusted targeting, or sometimes gaussians).
  11. Maybe even just make them purchaseable at the P2W vendor. In this current proc-laden iteration of PvP, IOs and +hp accolades matter more than they’ve ever mattered. They’re basically a requirement. Quick and painless accolades would make PvP more enjoyable for those already doing it (more even playing field, people get to play more characters) and more accessible to those not doing it. If it has to be PVP only, one possibly technically feasible way to do it would be making what are essentially clones of the normal accolade powers, and having them do nothing in pve. Ie: a power called “Task Force Commander: PVP” which for PvP effects gives 5% max hp, and for pve effects gives 0%. Obviously, these should be flagged in some way not to stack with regular accolades.
  12. I think we need to chill for a while. The game just came back, and there's a lot of crap that we aren't familiar with. I'd be in favor of holding off on changes until we can make better, more educated changes later. Opinion wise, I lean alpha only, but I also don't have much experience with non-alpha incarnates. Some would be pretty clearly busted in the hands of anyone competent. Like I said, though, we gotta chill for a bit. These mods aren't getting paid, so we don't know what changes they're willing to make yet, or, perhaps more importantly, who they're willing to listen to. I'd be down for a full i12 reversion, but that's actually a lot more complicated than it sounds - and not just on the coding side. Pre i13 pvp was eight issues, the last of which was never balanced because the next issue went right into i13. Post i13 is twelve issues of crap that was never balanced around the old system. I would love a reversion, but if that reversion isn't done right, the end result would be worse than what we have now. I think for the moment, we'd be better served by efforts that make PvP, and getting PvP ready characters (leveling, IOing, incarnating, etc) easier and more accessible. Let's brainstorm to that end and maybe make some suggestions.
  13. beam, dark, and ice are best, followed by psi.
  14. Don’t worry, Burnt Toast. I will be dedicating between 6-8 hours a day getting three ff/archery defenders to 50 and fully slotted with SOs. Whether you believe in us or not, I will be there. Once I rebuild the holy trinity of Ff/archery defenders, I will use my bubbles to protect you and my arrows to shoot down your foes. That is a promise I do not take lightly.
  15. Hey this Banana Man AKA Banana Joe, I was the leader of the Banana Barrage SG on the Guardian server (yes, really). You might also remember from my ff/archery pvp toon, Fettuccine Alfred or El Diablo XXX, my user name in Tribes Ascend. If you hadn't made this post, I probably would have pretty soon. This is something we are definitely needing and I AM YOUR GUY. My ff/archery was a watch dog in RV - one of the most feared on the server, and even had a dog costume. I had the speed record for the abandoned sewers trial on six servers. PART III: CHARACTERS IN MY ARSENAL WHEN LIVE SHUT DOWN Banana Man: FF/archery defender, level 50 FULLY SO'd Banana Joe: FF/archery defender, level 50 FULLY SO'd Fettuccine Alfred: FF/archery defender, level 50 FULLY IO'd DragonSlayer3: Broadsword/regen scrapper, level 50 FULLY SO'd Tornado Cash-Flow: Storm/beam defender: level 50 FULLY SO'd Pizza gonna eat ya: warshade level 50, mostly SO'd Pm me in game I don't want to talk too much about my capabilities out in the open.
