Minimap issues, you mean?

This is a badge challenge fight, and there's no shame in getting help. 🙂 You might be one of the few who had all the badge and souvenir requirements without knowing that you were spawning a bonus fight. If you can keep Bile in the fight, he's helpful - bonus if you can buff him. I'd probably take out Wolfie first. If Bile drops, you don't fail the mission, you have to retrieve him elsewhere, and he has at least one backup unit with him. This is a tough fight, for sure. You can certainly do it if you know it's coming. Sometimes, you read a comic, and the protagonist gets caught off their footing. But they almost always prevail. Don't give up!

Something to play towards or un-necessary forced time sink

In the new blueside arc, you're giving a situation with 4 possible outcomes in the penultimate mission, leading to variations in the finale and badges based on your choices. You can go the hero route, with two different endings, both of which offer a morality point towards hero and a badge; you can choose the vigilante route, which also changes the finale and offers a morality point and a badge; or fail the mission, and go rogue to complete the task as penance for failure (No badge for failures!). Also in the blueside arc, a large branching dialog tree is presented as an investigation. If you pick up the right clues you can shorten the chain of missions subsequent to it from 4, down to 1. Believe me when I say this: I want to change the way this game plays too. Small steps. Nothing, I mean *nothing* is a simple task in this game to create. When things open up and I start forming my Content Avengers and we assemble, you're gonna see some stuff. -
Just you wait until you meet the Woke Eidola.

Okay, fair point. While this particular badge may not change by my own hand, going forward I will consider that and not set the bar so high. If I might, let me just say 1000 Jaegers for the Jaegermeister badge seemed acceptable, but I had to squash that idea for the sake of Legal's blood pressure medication. So the badge name got put through the Safetymatic Copyright Obfuscatormotron 5000.

My qualifier is *should*, but there's no one metric that can be applied. But when you encounter jaegers, you should encounter a mess of 'em by natural spawn definitions.
-
At the 35+ level range, there should be enough easily accessible and spawn-dense opportunities to get this (At the least, most of the way) organically.

There are now five waves of IPPs and they will always spawn when Fuzzy Lumpkins is at 25% health. They are not programmed to overwhelm, so they should be waiting until the previous wave drops before spawning another. Each wave has unique dialog now, for additional moral ambiguity,

Doc Buzzsaw, being the amoral scientist, is sending some Freaks in... knowing their only purpose is to serve as disposable distractions to the Vahzilok. She's not-so-subtly painting a picture for how she values their lives, in that they don't know they're going there to do whatever, and if they die, oh well 😄 The second bit is a good point and I'll update it. And the typo typo.

While not everything can be air-tight wrapped in logic, this mission as it stands will likely stay the way it is - if only because of there being a badge tied to it, and trying to make that challenge acceptable for the risk. As stated above, I reduced the number of fires by 25% in the next wave of changes. That should help soloists the most.

It would require a little too much work at this point - because if you died in the first group, you could go right to Pathogen, and then the entire map would be full on your way back with 5 minutes on the clock. The alternative would be to have a hospital on the map, but that also proved to be a nuisance. So at this stage, we're looking at the rule of cool and a little handwaving on that bit. I'll look at the fires, but they're directly copy-pasted in from... somewhere. I didn't make those numbers up, I took them from another script.

(Fork from ForumsHero/Insightful) --------------------------- (NaturalThanks) You might think I have a bias towards natural heroes, but you're all equally important and none are more relevant than another. What really matters is that when the chips are down, you can be counted on to do the right thing when the situation asks for it. That's what a hero is, whether you're jabbing at it with a stick, flying into it headfirst with a suit of mecha armor, or transmuting a solution from the ether of an incomprehensible dimension. My perspective is that at the end of the day, humanity is safe, growing, and learning. That's what matters. [[Powerful words. I'm happy to jab my stick at the problem.->Accept]] ------------------------------- (Thanks) I think a lot of people underestimate the contributions we 'regular joes' still make. We may not raise islands out of the ocean, or dive into the gullet of gods to save the world, or defend the front lines from Hamidon; but we still keep our ears to the ground and our eyes to the skies to make sure the right people are in the right places. Our grounded perspective keeps the common person in focus. <answer>`Requires magic origin char> eq`</answer> [[Let us not relive the abject horror of Mot and Diabolique.->Accept]] <answer>`Requires science origin char> eq`</answer> [[Some day, the Hamidon'll get what's coming to him.->Accept]] [[On behalf of people like me, I want you to know I'm grateful for it.->Accept]]
