  1. Oh I still think plant is slipping out of S Tier but its now maybe an B+ now.
  2. Feedback for [OPEN BETA] Patch Notes for May 29th, 2025 - Issue 28, Page 2 - Build 2 Adaptive Recharge on Seeds of Confusion has quieted my concerns. Immediately better. Still cannot lock down a 54x8 group by itself and be safe on my ranged capped Plant/Kin/Fire. BUT Creeper spawn rate is fixed. Thank you. (How did this go through entire closed beta only noticing in open beta it spawned 5? Thank you for reverting your intended change.) Containment added to creepers helps a great deal. It feels good to play with Kin again. Creepers alone on my ranged capped Plant/Kin/Fire could let me kill a group. Vines works great. Verdict: In MY OPINION: Survivability isn't what it was on live. but its ok. I can fix this by adding in Spore or the Tree. (I don't need both) I am on a KIN and I can stand unassisted with Creepers holding the agro on 54x8 BASIC spawns and feel safe. Maybe thrown a heal here or there. Other tankier secondaries shouldn't have an issue if a KIN can do this.
  3. So if plant is being punished because of roots. Normalize it. Illusion should also have Phantom Army damage reduced or increase its recharge.
  4. The "Law Enforcement are perfect angels" stuff really shows how many players didn't engage with villianside whatsoever. Bad cops is also a well tread superhero trope. Numerous punisher stories come to mind. Leave it I dont see an issue.
  5. Plant still has the higest damage aoe immobilze. Still kinda surprized it wasn't normalized. I mean if your are trying to generalize the sets go all the way.
  6. Current beta creeper performance is quite bad and recognized as so by the dev team in this very thread. You should compare it against live.
  7. Imo, plant is S tier on live. The current build on beta is not. Lets wait for the revised creepers and see how it plays out yes?
  8. Supposedly the Creeper spawn limitations are an unintended sided effect of the changes used to strip its proc usefuless. - source Discord I am going to stop commenting pending that fix getting pushed.
  9. I won't bother addressing your comment about EPIC powers balancing a set because... I mean come on. In regard to the Assault set, you are right. If I combine my assault set with another primary I have better control and better damage so I will probably do that. Good suggestion. Plant isn't ruined, heck I can still solo 54x8 content without changing my live build on test (at least on my Dominator). It just doesn't feel good to play, and its not the set It used to be. I will never get the damage back, and to sure up the control I have to sacrifice pools to pick up Spores/Tree. Just not worth it when I can powerlevel up something else.
  10. Adaptive change dumpsters proc rate. Its an intended change I believe.
  11. Why do Melee characters (Stalkers and Scrappers) get a Cone DP? So let me play out the gameplay loop: I am fighting in melee, but I need to refresh DP. So I leave melee to get to a good cone position and then go back into melee? Yeah on its face I am never considering this set on a Scrap or Stalk.
  12. Its my opinion that a control that doesn't fully control my targets is to be avoided. Its my opinion that I can fix the 10 target cap of seeds with contagious confusion. The 10 target cap makes it much less viable on 8x4 than other 90 second powers which hit 16. That's my opinion. Yes there are updates to other plant powers to layer control, but I picked plant because it was a damage set. The change to plan where I need to take more powers to get effective control, AND the reduced basic functionality of Creepers (less spawns, no procs,) is enough to make me respec/rebuild.
  13. its not that bad honestly, just not a set I want to play anymore. Plant has everything it needs to support a group at all difficulty levels. its just not what I would consider a top tier set anymore. There are better ones. One thing I am shocked about is that Roots double damage wasn't removed too? Put that last nail in there Homecoming! You know you want to normalize Roots. Roots does more damage than Fire Cages. If we are making these drastic changes now, its time to fix this one too. Fire Cages: Roots:
  14. Yeah sorry I test at 54x8. Thats my minimum standard. 1x1 the set works great!
  15. 10 Target cap, not the mag. Contagious helps get the rest of the group. Sorry should lave laid it out more plain for yah!
  16. Dominator: Stier ==> C- tier Overall this nerf hurts but I can still clear 8x4 missions without breaking a sweat. Key point here, most of my kill speed came from my assault set anyway. I respec'd in Vines and between that and Seeds (with Contagious proc (IMPORTANT HERE). I felt very safe. Carrion Creepers is honestly junk now. Never saw more than 5 creepers at a time, but I didn't have room for Tactics on my build now. Controller: S Tier ==> D Tier. Kill power is massively reduced. Seeds of confusion is basically not usable without contagious confusion (EDIT: Due to the target cap reduction) You can REALLY feel the DPS loss on creepers as they spawn less pets, never saw more than 5 on 8x4. 'Gina (Fly Trap) still was a non factor in high level play, though mine is a kin so YMMV. In both cases a enhanced to the Gills character is going to be fine, but noticably weaker now. I am planning on stripping both my controller and dom in favor of other combos.
  17. The white components need to be customizable. Not just customizable, toned down. Its way to stark. TOO BRIGHT. Seriously burns my retinas and I play in a lit room.
  18. I find the irony with this palatable. I also 100% agree with what you are saying, and its not something that happened in the past. It happens now. The Forum Cartel runs Barter-town.

  20. I am for this. So long as its not RNG. If I *carry* a team through a Master of I want a targeted reward. Edit: *I am kidding. Edit 2: *Maybe.
  21. I am not commenting one way or the other on the difficulty front, but I want to note that this thread is *REALLY* coming across as toxic. Instead of being friendly, or helpful a lot of you are nasty and taunting. Not a great way to grow the community.
