My rough numbers: 1.67 -- Mental Blast -- 56ish DPA 1.00 -- TK Blast -- 58 DPA 1.67 -- Subdue -- 56ish DPA 1.10 -- Dominate -- 70ish DPA + Massive Proc Potential 2.00 --Scramble Thoughts -- 50ish DPA (If you get all the ticks) + 4 mag stun I build for full exemplar so I ended up taking TK, Subdue, Dominate, Scramble Thoughts, and yes Gloom to up the dps at end game. I rotate Dom (either Scram or Subdue) Gloom at 50. Devs: I actually WANT Wide Area Web Grenade now. Struggling to fit this into my bane build now. Also thanks for the Mace animation option on Frag Grenade. Kudos.
  2. So been playing with Arse/Arse today and I came to thinking that this set doesn't have a Marquee power. From a dominator lens, the control set is straight up terrible. Tranquilizer -- DOM? YES, Single target sleep. SKIP Sleep Grenade -- DOM? NO. I won't repeat what others have said better about sleeps. Cryo Freeze Ray -- DOM? YES, Standard ST hold. Nothing to add here. Liquid Nitrogen -- DOM? NO. Cloaking Device -- Always nice to have extra defense. Smoke Canister -- DOM? NO. its meant to be used with Nitro I get it. Just seems weak even at even con. Flash Bang -- DOM? YES, Standard 90 Sec Soft control. Nothing to Add here. Tear Gas -- DOM? YES, 4 Minute Hard, SKIP Gun Drone -- Pets are always meh on Doms Imo. As a dominator player this set has zero Marquee powers. Nothing that would entice me over the other frankly better sets that interact with my class mechanic. Addtionally the Pseudo pets don't seem to contribute to your building of Domination, though this is minor as its Perma dom builds all the way anyway.
  3. Bug - (Maybe?) I potentially don't understand the under the hood code but isn't fate sealed supposed to be a 34% resistance to Mez on self at 50?
  4. Yeah, I want to be clear: Not really complaining just trying to understand how things are supposed to be balanced against each other. So, yes you do have to consider all available tools in the balance conversation. With the Power customization + New Scramble thorughts I am going to go full on Ranged on My fort once this goes live. Still skiping Psi Scream though, and will just live with Psi Nado for the easy FF+Recharge.
  5. Can someone explain to me the balancing logic between the Fortunata and the Nightwidow Psychic Screams? Fort, Narrow cone, 20ish DPA, 12 Second Recharge, 13 end cost. Night Wider cone, 40ish DPA, 20 Second Recharge, 20 end cost. Is it crazy that I would much rather have the Night Widow one? Am I supposed to weight in the fact that the Fort also has (the terrible) Psionic tornado?
  6. Epic > Fire Mastery > Bonfire (Blaster/Mastermind) - Knockdown rate has been reduced while using KB2KD enhancements Just tested this on my Fire/Earth Dominator. I feel its been pretty much completely gutted out. On average i see about 2 enemies knocked down, and very inconsistent. I want to point out, that Fire control does NEED bonfire to be good. Just drop/skip the power like everyone did on Live. As far as usability on Blasters, Its not something I will be using anymore and looking for new Epic/Patrons for my builds. Edit- Keeping it on my Archer/Trick arrow blaster. Stacks enough with OSA to make it worth keeping around. (Also noting its not something I NEED on my blaster builds either, it was good for preventing runners) Life will go on.

  10. Riot Siren has said it better than I could. Did an hour test of my MACE Huntsman with the hope I could transition to a Full Bane. While the change to Venom Grenade is a huge win, and I will be using that right away once this goes live. I still need Frag Grenade to take the place of the Mace Beam AoEs. They are flat 50% weaker and more awkward to use than the Gun (and now mace!) aoes.

  16. I swear I recently saw "The Philotic Knight" post that he hasn't played in over 2 years nor does he plan on returning. Thus had no "dog in the game." Maybe I was mistaken. *Shrug* My thoughts: I do not get more powers. It doesn't change the power I pick. It doesn't make me take or make me avoid Pool powers. I just get more choice earlier. None of the above is Power Creep. The only REAL effective change is that I no longer have to take throwaway powers on my dominators, blappers and defenders. This one is a small bit of Power Creep. But I am down for this as it will make the game more fun.
  17. Can I second this? The Skulls are VERY concept limiting. I don't mind it as it is as I plan on skipping this power on my illusion dom. But an alternate animation similar to Gleem or Flash would be welcomed. (I am sure there are people with the exact opposite opinion! 😛)

  19. Getting a DB error with the temp MHD file. Tried the Json deletion fix too.
  20. I cannot wait to play this set on live. This combined with the ability to chose between the T1/T2 Secondary power is making me extremely excited.
  21. I think I can live with this. On live i already slot a KB to KD in my Phantasm. And It affects the Decoy too. I just tested the DOM version. Work the same. I don't see the issue. EDIT: Actually, the Decoy is randomly Knocking back..... I think its when the Phantasm dies? Nevermind. I used Auto enhance and it overwrote my Sudden Acceleration KB to KD.
