Lightning rod is one, if not the best melee alpha breakers in the game. And it's amazing to behold.

EA gives more utility but is mostly damage type based defense. SR is endurance hungry but is delivery defense heavy (melee, range, aoe). Positional defense generally is king but a smart build with either rocks.

Also keep an eye out for enhancement sets that give you psionic resist as that's the major hole in rad. The Ghost Widow patron pool for Darkest Night toggle is a really good pairing as well.

Kill speed.

You're slotting for hurricane Katrina. In 99% of the cases you won't need more than acrobatics. Or you can keep the slotted enhancements and save yourself a power and some endurance.
