  1. The Shades can get stuck in place without any obstacles in their way when they try to follow me. It's usually one shade that gets stuck and this happens often.
  2. PvP is complete garbage. Nothing makes sense. Jaunt is stupid. Melee stalker damage is now a joke. Slows are gone, Mezzes gone. It's pathetic. I'll see you in RV in ten minutes...
  3. I agree that things are dumb right now which can make PvP predictable. The uniqueness and fun factor has been replaced by the damage factor. It seems we both would like PvP to have more of an interesting dynamic rather than blasterfest. Great info presented on your points. A+
  4. To sum all this up: "Blasters are for Noobs" haha And imo, Jaunt needs to go in PvP Zones.
  5. "It is true -recharge is probably less effective." haha Probably Less Effective! I agree that it is not fun to be slowed to a crawl. It is AWESOME! Today, toons are defeated by one or two powers, so I think it's completely fair for toons to be slowed to a crawl. If you're worried about getting slowed, there are methods of survival for your slowed toons. They can teleport away, Jaunt away, Hibernate, Phase or choose to stay put and fight it out. There are good times for all when we can get slowed to a crawl. Trust me. You'll love it! Trying make the zones one giant safe space is boring.
  6. I'm against the lack of slows and -recharge. As for the "what if you bring back only slows with no movement speed buff to melee", apparently it won't help the debuffing toon that's for sure. Do we have to coddle to every build vulnerabilities or do we want players zipping and jaunting all over the zone like fireflies? I don't have an answer for now. we'd have to see how it goes first and see how players adapt.
  7. Maybe reread this thread? haha A lot of this thread is talking about how to help the new or casual PvP player experience. I just want honesty. The KB clique should admit, "We believe our way of PvP is better than the current zone experience and have petitioned the devs to implement certain changes that will enhance your PvP experience. And while we're at it, we're going to give ourselves nine new arena maps. You can thank us later!" I'm fine with that. Outward confidence in one's knowledge and ability is admirable.
  8. More speed. More Jaunt! Nah. I say bring back slows.
  9. I'm with you Alex. The zone changes are made by the arena players for the arena players. They are dishonest when they say, "We are doing it for the noobs!" I'm not saying the changes are for better or for worse. I'm just pointing out the gaslighting. I'm with you on the blaster nonsense and would love to see slows and -recharge resurface. Personally, I feel Jaunt just adds to the zone PvP nonsense. It's just an escape tool when toons get caught in a pool or in a sticky situation.
  10. If people want teleport, they need to open the Teleportation power pool.
  11. Disable Jaunt for PvP. Problem solved. It's a totally absurd to get two travel powers for one, especially when jaunt is used in PvP zones to get players out of sticky situations from which there is no escape. It feels like jaunt was made with this in mind.
  12. One of my favorite PvPers is Epsilon. He popularized the Psi/Plant chain that would make you disappear and his Trick Arrow was super fun until Jaunt became a thing. He was a Zone PvPer and not a fan of 3,2,1 fire kickball. He'd 1 on 1 with people. Maybe he'll come back to the game soon. Not sure what you mean by "the one who knows the best PvP." Can you tell us who knows the best PvP? Also let's get back to Jaunt. It's way over powered. Why is a player given teleport along with a super speed-like power? Totally made for a squish that needs to get out of a pool.
  13. You can rationalize this all day long. The bottom line is Kickballers brought their Preferred Way To PvP to the Zones. Is it right or wrong? 3, 2, 1 Fire! Time will tell. On a side note (haha), can you kickballers petition the devs to make slows work again? You got your Arena Rules so maybe you get slows too! I'm a big fan of slows. I know M3z is too. So are the PvPers on my global and on zone chat.
  14. I remember vividly this idea of “lowering the barrier” to help out noobs ruining PvP before. Don’t you? So when I hear this same phrase being used saying, “we’re going to make PvP a fair experience for the new players”, I’m skeptical and nervous. Actually, I don’t believe it at all. It’s simply Kickballers helping themselves by forcing their arena rules upon zone players.
  15. There are two types of PvPers. Arena and Zone. These changes cater to Arena/KB players that want their preferences in PvP zones. Did I mention Slows?
  16. I agree with you. Not sure why RV is turning into a giant KB zone. If PvPers wanted to KB, we'd do it. Looks like the KBers wanted to change zones to follow their arena rules. Still waiting for Slows to work!
  17. I understand that in blaster fest world, losing a second or two from button mashing may feel like the end of the world, but it's not. The point is that today's top tier -recharge doesn't have the same power it once had.
  18. You said today's -recharge was very painful. It's not. Yesterday's -recharge was very painful. Toons were rendered powerless until the debuffs wore off. (unless they were ice armor)
  19. DR, resistances or whatever ruined top tier -recharge, it is a completely noticeable degradation. Maybe the devs prefer blaster fest style PvP. A lot of people don't.
  20. I have been hit with heat loss and Lingering Rad today and pre i13. I also dished out these powers both today and pre i13. There's definitely a noticeable difference in the -recharge. Today's toons are still blasting when hit with these debuffs.
  21. Top tier -recharge doesn't work like it had. Heat loss or lingering rad used to stop toons from attacking and they had to retreat. Now these powers are negligible at best. And if it's true nothing has changed, then these powers need a buff.
  22. Today's top tier -recharge is negligible compared to that of the past. It's not "still very painful." Yesterday's top tier -recharge was a major impediment because power trays disappeared. This -recharge is what one would call "very painful." If offensive toons can defeat squishies with a few attacks, then these squishes should be able slow them to a crawl and have their powers tray disappear.
  23. This movement speed is really fun in PvP but movement needs to be susceptible to Slows from debuffs. That's what made Ice Armor great because of its inherent ability to resist slows. Now every PvP toon has inherent slow resistance and that makes no sense. Slows are by far the biggest PvP element missing from today's PvP and this needs to be addressed ASAP.
  24. Can you tell us your PvP view points the devs have implemented? Because PvP is not as good as it had been prior to i13 and I need to know if you're to blame for the current brokeness. 😉
