  1. On my Storms I normally skip O2 Boost and Thunderclap. Sometimes I put 2-3 slots into Gale because KD is good yet it gets SILLY when you make it accurate and give it range so it can really cleave. It becomes one of the best Soft Control of the set for trash mobs. I love Hurricane yet it's so damn loud and if you're not built right it's WAY too hot to even use. So skip it. I often hate I have to skip Snow Storm very often because it's such a good soft control with just small investment becomes oppressive. You can pretty much do whatever with Freezing Rain you can spec it for raw DMG or Debuff either way is valid. Personally don't waste a KB/KD on Tornado since it knocks up, yeah it sucks for some melee players yet having mobs suffer in low ceiling hallways and rooms is too good. Yet you do want it to recharge quickly so you can get two up . Like the rain you can go DMG or a Debuff path and it's good. Lightning Storm, I just throw the whole "Overwhelming Force" set there. Amazing skill, yet be careful. If you're a flyer indoors you maybe summon the cloud beyond the ceiling where it just won't work; also learn to just use it.
  2. Since others broke down the main issues of the set I would like to say for the "blastery" sets of DP they're able to use the Thugs animations
  3. Tactical Arrow / Archery Especially if you're in a team you can keep up with a faster paced group and lockdown zones if needed.
  4. I agree since some Banished Pantheon and Talons mobs don't use a belt. the main problem is the height for both pieces. It could convert yet if they make it an "illusion" like how ghost and shadow work. It might be able to work on models as well, I mean that "special outfit" tab is there.
  5. I kinda mule the t1 zombies to have the 4 of the Call to Arms set then Edict of the Master and Sovereign Right procs. Since I want overall CD to be high I just put Expedient Reinforcement set in Soul Extraction. It works for me, when I update Mids to be work off the beta changes I'll post my Necro setup.
  6. The main Corr secondaries that are "better" now are Poison, Traps, FF and TA. You could toss in Rad too if you just wanted to debuff yet that's still better as defender.
  7. The idea is cool so you can have what you like while also being able to help the team like Superior Invis and Shadow Fall/Steaming Mist. Since I normally spec the latter two for res instead of def. So I in theory should get the best of both overall. Also nice for Infiltration and "Stealth" so you can be really mobile and stealthy on pretty much any build.
  8. It honestly doesn't matter if people gonna have them day one it's about the people that come along, want to play see something cool and are turned off by that climb. I was hardcore player until honestly this year. I don't want it instantly given I want it in a reasonable time frame by playing in sensible pace. If I just pop on for some WST or some trials. Maybe a Hami or Mothership raid. I'm not one posted in an AE for 16 hours that might be able to buy them outright, I'm not really on to play hard modes consistently. Yet if the goals are that high and they're giving single digits that isn't cutting it. Especially on something like Synapse and Q even Underground should pay out.
  9. Personally the prices are too high, simply cutting everything by half wouldn't hurt anything. Those that want to be Malta agents, Hellions, or even DE's can have fun running around. Those that want to work towards something can do that. Yet there needs to be more options and or simply just more Prismatics given out across all levels which can also "help" some poor/newer players that can sell off a few for some pocket money. WST only giving out 2 and then hard mode and trials content giving low numbers. As of now the numbers are honestly "perfect" for just tier 1's. Everything else is a bit too much grind for my taste.
  10. I kinda like the change, it works since the ghost comes out pretty aggressively. I was playing with the more classic necro/dark setup so there's a lot of healing. I could summon the ghosts on each mob where the normal crew of my zombies and dark servant could clean up the bosses that were left. I got it to around 16sec of downtime between casts and I still need to optimize the recharge on the build itself so with Hasten, Ageless it should cut a few more that'll be nice for sub 45+ content.
  11. I rolled up a Necro FF and Storm either way Necro is aggressive now, especially with storm. Yeah Necro KINDA gets it ass kicked by Counsil and Malta so a bit more Lethal res could be nice, they can hang fine with Carnies. It feels nice to play solo and I know in a group it'll be chaos.
  12. From my time playing FM the REAL buff it want is give it Inferno and Hot Feet we all know it's true, yet it ain't happening. Since I'll rebuild my Tanker right now if it did. To be real I didn't have much problems out of the set outside of Combustion is too slow to be that weak and Breath of Fire is too narrow for being also slow. If Hot Feet were in that place of Combustion then I could slot the tanker ATO's for the minor absorb proc in a consistent power that'll be in melee.
  13. I'm gonna put my foot into the door because I have 2 characters that I've done all sorts of content with that's affected by this whole patching wave. I got a double fire tanker and a rad/bio brute. Outside of the perfection of farm based AE's these wasn't the problem. Like Irradiated Ground is lucky to get both stacks because of how powerful everybody else can be. On paper it's "powerful" yet because it couldn't take ATO's it was a bit more balanced. Like IG is good when there's AV that won't run around. So I can debuff the crap out of them. Honestly Rad Melee is in a weak spot since it's a slow set for one, so IR takes a lot of DPS since it is the main AOE of the set. I know how the farmers can AFK with that setup. Yet it isn't how everybody plays. So Rad Melee itself needs to be looked over not just IG. Since IG is carrying the set doing what's it supposed to do debuffing and spreading contamination. While the set is simply slow and lacks power. For my style of play I dislike damage procs on anything that's consistently up. Yet it works for others, that's what I liked about how you can build tank melee. I can be being an aggro-holding support. While somebody can frankenslot as many procs as possible and kinda make it work.
  14. After trying Illusion it isn't as powerful as Mind or Symph. Mind in Dom is wild since that's the only time you really want to take Telekinesis it's somewhat disruptive in groups yet solo you can push a mob into a corner and they can't do anything. Plus with the AOE sleep you can really use the "Dom" to its fullest. Symph has better AOE where you don't really even need to get that close to be effective and the Pet's concept is still one of the best even if it isn't as aggressive as it once was. SO, when it comes to Illusion you're based in burst two of your pets need to be up at all times or you will see how much trouble you'll get into. "It's strong but..." that's how I see Illusion on Dom. If Gleam did some damage then it might be higher to me.
  15. I made an Ice/Time a while ago and I might have to finish the build because even though I did no damage I was extremely safe.
  16. Fire/Rad is a very "hot" build end wise so most newer players are turned off by crashing all the time. You really need to know what you want from the build or else it isn't fun where Ill/Rad and even Elec/Rad are safer.
  17. The problem now is that personally the best pets are Gremlins of Elec and Umbra Beast from Dark due to their aggression, I'm able to use a secondary that works with them. Yeah I can agree with Doms the pet might have been too aggro for them. Yet as Troller it was perfect because it kept up. It allowed more short ranged builds to work like Kin which no longer works with Symph since the pet is behind me. Since the pet is behind me that means I have to tank for the pet that refuses to get close enough to use the cones. Since before it would haphazardly go into a middle of 2 mobs and fire away that was damn effective when you had Sonic's toggles on it. Before I could shred my personal 50+ character baseline of +2/8 now I worry about it's effectiveness. The pet is too sturdy to be that passive at lease for me since a lot of places we're fighting are indoors I've rather have that aggression back with the pet.
  18. Yeah before that pet would normally stand in front of me which allowed it to work well with Sonic and Kin. When I hopped back on I finally got to setup Thermal and Storm. Yet it doesn't attack because it standing behind me which means it's out of the range for those cones since I did notice it was only doing the ST hold and confusion. The pet was so much better when it was aggressive. It would stare down Malta Zeus' having them controlled while I clean up the easier ones.
  19. Did something change with the Reverberant's aggression? Since I saw the confusion and stun got buff yet didn't have time to test until last night/this morning. From those tests the Pet is now acting more like the Grav pet where it'll sit behind me instead of being more independent. The confusion and stun buffs are amazing. Yet what happened to the Pet are not, since it feels like it isn't doing anything in a fight until it gets down to a lot less enemies on screen. When before I was able to buff it out and it'll charge into the middle of an active mob and shred. It feels like I can't rely on it anymore, why I'm I buffing it out if isn't gonna move...
  20. Yeah that's what I realized Omega is cool and all yet Frag would just be better for most content. I only got def failure versus Longbow. Malta, Arachnos and Carnies weren't a problem at all. It was more so a concept. Since I have a melee Nata and Huntsman. So if I get bored when new runs go live I might reroll my huntsman for a week or so to play around with it.
  21. A while ago I ran something with all Spiders and one player said they never seen one so when I was on Beta, I built one. To me it's solid even though I know there's a lot I could move around.
  22. From what I played it's a buff for /Sonic Controllers or Masterminds that have that sleep hole and get "sniped" by a Mez when they enter a room. So I can have toggles up and not have to worry about it now. It legit didn't feel like 8 seconds I got that quick "Sleep" pose, recovered and I could hear my pet was still affecting mobs with the sonic toggles. If this were Live with my MM I would have to recast all 4 of the toggles I use and that's way longer than 8 secs.
  23. Because that means those level 50's doing endgame content are Ouroboros members and some of us want those unique costume items if that's the case. Yet that's me being vain.
  24. It's honestly why Echo Plaza was made, it's bright, there's Icon rep right there. I completely get tradition yet dammit. It's there big group like events so people can get into Ouro, PD, etc in high traffic hours. Like I said the only problem really was JUST Atlas Park since Mercy is Mercy. Players that start villain have a plan already.
