  1. So does BWI as I said they're nasty when they group up since you have to deal with such a mixed group. Since you're dealing with multiple damage and mez checks. As a threat they're Malta but much more dangerous
  2. I used it like that because I didn't have the merits or the money to buy the purple set. It was a cheap option that I just stuck with. I 5 slotted Malaise with Cacophony's proc. I rather have the damage with the confusion being a cherry on top. Since I never found that much success with the purple set later on compared to the damage.
  3. That's why I said I just ended up using it to pull mobs it's short fuse and large aggro range is good for that. It's still a good opener depending you have something that can work with it. IMO the best sets for Pyro are the classical strong Storm and Time. How I've used it is dropping it right on a Heavy and if there's a mob in the room I can pull them back to us.
  4. I moved my Elec/Elec from Live onto the Beta Gremlins are really good and the fact we can control them now means they're not that hyper-aggressive duo that was hard to work with for some players. Static Field nothing felt different Jolting Chain, I prefer the faster chains. The only reason I spec'd out of it because I wanted to use Ball Lightning. They kinda align now so it's based on taste and building logic. Conductive Aura, I somewhat noticed it. When fighting BWI and they do that whole "Targeted" and they mob you. Testa Coil, I'll miss the raw aspect of that pop from the blast yet now it's just better for fighting stronger mobs since it now keeps checking for that hold. Synaptic Overload, I really didn't notice any difference besides the adaptive recharge changes.
  5. The best confusion isn't on Plant it's on Arsenal, for Plant most of us used it as a proc bomb to hit for like 200 dmg and the confusion was a cherry on top. To be real it would be Ice on a Dom yet that aura is personally too hot to respect.
  6. The best form of control is knockdown/up since there's no real limit to how much it loops especially if you have stacking sources like an Earthquake/Bonfire on a Frenzied Tide Pool.
  7. As somebody that min/max'd a Plant/Nature they're making it seems like Plant is crazy OP. It isn't never was, it's simply visually impressive seeing 20 vines pop up yet how did the mob die? The Fire Blaster nuked the mob... All I play seriously now is Trollers and Plant is lower tier that's because outside of Creepers it's basic. Other sets are either bring more debuffing in the kit itself or as you said safer.
  8. Not really, especially with Elec getting major buffs across the whole kit. Where Plant's Fly Trap needs to be looked at badly more so than anything.
  9. Yeah at 50, respecing a few times, and then having the ability to buy more stuff. Hard to balance when something new ends up having a spicer than intended interaction
  10. A part of me likes them being uniform in a way. BWI are the best of some really tough groups. They clearly got some former Seers(Widows), IDF, and Syndicate members. They're uniform and super deadly to rush into like Malta. Seeing a group use teamwork and are more than simply reactive. Once they notice you and you're flatfooted it's over even for Tankers. Are we gonna see a BWI version of Praetorian Duray in the future? If he's not dead but still that would be a nice call back.
  11. Excelsion feature is the best thing for Dampening Bubble because for me at least I often forget it's even down when I use it because It blends in so well. Now I can see what I'm doing, Yet on live I'm gonna put Dispersion Bubble back to the Min. I mean unless there's time for Min version Excelsion JUST for Dispersion where we just get the small bubble around allies...
  12. I just want the belt and some more parts from the Cabal group
  13. It's SUPPOSED to be for controlling aggro yet what's best for currently is pulling mobs that haven't been aggroed into the group currently fighting. Since once it pops they are MAD. It's pretty much Omega Maneuver without the stun. After some gameplay it should last like 2-3 more seconds longer before blowing up and IMO it should slow after said explosion
  14. There's a need for more auto and visual feedback since Multipurpose Missles stands out as the loudest in a good way so I know it's being used. Also sometimes I can use it short range fine and other times it doesn't. Is this skill checking if there are enemies close to it? That's why I cannot use it just to throw it around? I should just be able to throw it out, yet if it's checking if something is there sometimes it just doesn't work. Even if enemies are right there staring at a Glittering Column which can cause some mistiming with opening on groups. Also, Glittering Column should be louder than what it is now. Since Omega Maneuver is the right level of auto queueing. Also, it needs to last a bit longer and as I said earlier it needs a snaring effect because, unless you're doing something chaotic. As I was running Pyro/Storm yesterday evening I can manage the chaos, but enemies still get aggroed and then will bolt full speed towards the one that used it. That lack of a snare is cool in a group where people can cover me since I can pull enemies from pretty far. Yet for solo this will make players dislike it even if it's supposed to be used over and over to control aggro. That's the signature feature that makes Pyro really standout as a set. Using your signature skill shouldn't lead to pulling more than one can handle. Since it's the most interesting thing to slot you can put taunt, acc -tohit sets into it or just throw as much raw dmg and acc on it For Incendiary Aura is the feedback that somebody is under it's effect the "poofs" by your feet are now on them? Since I've only seen this once maybe the KW groups are resisting too much since I've seen it when messing around with Malta on a Pyro/FF. It'll pull aggro yet then it doesn't seem like it's debuffing enough. Also, it may need a Min Effect version that only allow the "poof" to be seen on enemies or at least lower the frequency on the user kinda like how the "Bat" aura works. Since I did notice my eyes getting really tired. It's a nice effect still. Also, thinking about the "Aura" version of fireworks is less potent and could be the "min" effect since it isn't as bright or as lingering. A bigger issue for me at least it eats WAY too much End and it feels as if I was using Hot Feet, unslotted on a lowbie Fire troller as somebody fully kitted out.
  15. Enemy regen is kinda crazy it makes it kinda hard to test properly if it's the set is having issues or it's the enemies just either resisting and or regenerating more. If that's gonna roll out WITH Plant being nerfed people are just gonna high DPS metagame which is something Plant wasn't "good" at. It just had good visual feedback that made it look strong.
  16. Plants just been power crept and it's carried by it's secondary very hard. Seeds are it's middle skill the issue is overall Plants just do damage there's no - anything, spores doesn't do anything but sleep and that sleep isn't as good as others that have a snare and or a debuff. Tree isn't that good on mobile teams. Vines getting buff was needed and Fly Trap is still bad
  17. I like this whole theme that BWI are former Syndicate, IDF and some Seers wrapped into a new group. They're a brutal group you do not want to rush into even as a tanker
  18. And that ALL the set has as a nuke, The pet is the REAL thing that need a rework because it's not good compared to all the other pets. That are either stronger or more aggressive.
  19. The main sounds that stick out are what the Wheel does and of course Multipurpose Missiles since that is the loudest thing about the set. To me a lot of it gets drowned out and I thought Glittering Column was louder yet it isn't.
  20. From what I played with them a lot of those holds just weren't good for most players. Especially Cinders, Glacier and Flash a lot of players may not understand but unironically Controllers like to be in melee range. It's very high risk for the frail class yet when you start combat TP'ing into groups is when those three really shine. Now instead of something you saved and maybe used once per mission. Honestly, these buffs make it really seem like all to need is the throw in 2-3 acc/mez pieces and call it a day or go for the 4 slot Basilsk's Gaze. Allowing a bit more flexible slotting. Since I either put Will of the Controller set there or Unbreakable Constraint with the Ghost Widow Proc. So now you'll have 2-4 slots to play with and most players won't notice that much. Yet it seriously helps Total Dom and Chords since I did not like using those two
  21. That's because the t1-t3 are pretty much standard, you take those. Spore Burst gets in the way of taking a movement skill early and it's the weakest sleep still. Spirit Tree is skippable if you're playing faster since if you drop the tree only for the group to move on or they're chunking AVs you don't need the healing. Vines is also a standard AOE hold and I've stated it's the ONLY thing that needed to be buffed since how it works in beta now aligns better with how Entangling Aura and Choking Cloud works. It should drop enough mag to hold some higher tier enemies. t5 is often the set's first real BIG skill. Creepers is t8 is SUPPOSED to be good. Nerfing Creepers is like looking at Wormhole and going "you can't put knockback to knockdown in it anymore" People will just not use it. Which then makes it a skip. You NEVER want to nerf anything you want to buff what was lacking.
  22. I have used the new spore burst nothing will make it useful to me, why? I also play Elec and Arsenal which have the BEST sleeps in the game. Look at what Arsenal lacks Immo and the set works fine. Elec for the longest just doesn't do damage yet it's control was a swiss army knife and what it does it did grossly well especially once Elec Affinity gave it the safety it wanted. Not all sets are made to be equal if so make Ice's Arctic Air hit like Fire's Hot Feet. If sets were made to be equal Elec control could shock like the other offensive Elec's. Yet they knew that would make Elec Control TOO spicy. Elec control with Shock would be a dream to play.
  23. You are ignoring what plant users are saying acting like this nerf means I'm gonna use Spore Burst when I'm NOT. The issue is I stated some skills MUST be skipped so you can build into other things. Many other controller sets skip things they do not need. Why are you so hellbent on nerfing the set? Seeds is Plant's Fearsome Stare. Carrion is the ONLY thing super unique about it and You're like "People should use something else" Like do THAT many people skip that t8? Or are that many people ass mad Mind got power crept. Mind is still Grav but worse yet you're looking at Plant... It REALLY feels like you don't play or like the set and just trying to sabotage it. I'm telling you Plant is WEAK except under niche circumstances because it just loves combat when you DON'T MOVE. How is most gameplay especially in most groups? Super Fast, you get a 2 or so Blasters and Brutes and you know how the pace will end up. Is Plant out pacing them, no? Oh Plant has a niche in 4 Star content that's 50+ that's basically like saying "Nerf Barrier Core because it's required to clear some of the content" If you wanna punish a set on its Offensive abilities then upcoming, Pyro, Grav and Symphony are blast sets yet are you gonna say "those players want to have their cake and eat it" more like players don't want something they've invested time into ruined because bad actors like yourself hate the set for some reason.
  24. That's you ignoring the plant players(me) are right and I've been saying PLANT is WEAK as is. It's single target is horrible, It's Vines is only good if you're using one of the 2 hold auras and cannonballing yourself into groups before your party does the same and nukes them from orbit. Everybody don't use their whole offensive set because we need slot. You can peep builds now that skip a lot for general res and safety. It is a C tier control set because it NEEDS the right secondary to carry it which are Dark, Marine, Rad, Traps, TA, Time, Kin, Cold, Nature with Nature being the WORSE ONE out of the good synergies. Since Nature is hungry for slots. You're legit making it seem like this gimmicky set really pisses on higher end builds like Fire, Arsenal, Grav, and Illusion!? With Illusion/Rad still being #1 when it pulls up, soloing 4+/8 like it's nothing.
  25. As somebody that played ALL the controller sets Plant is legit 2nd WORSE with Ice being THE WORSE one. Plant will not work right with these nerfs I've PLAYED both versions of the same character. My Plant/Nature cannot hang like it used to. Plant's whole gimmick is the Seeds and Creepers, like how Fire control is unironically HOT FEET and BONFIRE. Bonfire been nerfed and what people do? Still slot knockback to knockdown because damn throwing a group into another room. Why they mad people using the set like how the set is supposed to be used?
