Beam Rifle - Refractor Beam and OverCharge Proc example quick test.

Refractor Beam seems to work pretty well with Procs.  In this little test. I have it slotted with

• Positrons Blast - Acc/Dam
• Positrons Blast - Acc/Dam/End
• Positrons Blast - Chance for Energy Damage
• Tough of Lady Gray - Chance for Negative Damage
• Shield Breaker - Chance for Lethal Damage
• Achilles Heel - Chance for -Res

 

I shot them with Disintegrate, and then Refractor Beam.  I'm just level 34 at the moment.

Overcharge seems to work pretty well with  procs also.  of course.   I used Annihilation as the base instead of Positorns, no Lady Gray -res proc, but it has Annihilations -res instead.  I also added Javelin's proc

Interesting.  Do you know off the top of your head if this would extend to Corruptors' version of BR as well?

It will be the same for Overcharge Shot on Corruptors since that power wasn't changed from taking on the Defense Debuff categories. 

Refractor Beam is a Sentinel replacement to Penetrating Ray so that won't translate well.  Penetrating Ray does have access to the Snipe category though which includes the Sting of the Manticore Toxic damage proc which can go along with the Corruptor's ATO damage proc, Apocalypse, and the PvP Toxic proc if one were so inclined.

Cool, thanks.  My first 50 after we returned is a Beam/Rad Corr, and although I've somewhat got her refined by this point (I only play that toon occasionally), there's always room to look into improvements.
