Just curious how well 75% S/L/E/F/C plays out.  Still takes 25% Though, but there is the heal.  BF > Attack Vitals > Repeat easy enough to obtain as well.

Neat. If you are planning to use a small purple insp to keep yourself at the s/l/m softcap you would be solid as a mountain (except to toxic). However, if that is not your plan you'd be better off building for s/l defense in most cases, as with the softcap to those and your elec armor shields completely unslotted you would take less damage from attacks that have a s/l component (most of them) than your build above.

 

Example, to a machine gun attack (ranged lethal), you would take 4.025% of the damage.  To a melee attack with an s/l component (again, most), you'd take 3.15%. A build with s/l softcap and absolutely no slotting in its resist shields would take 3.685%. Add SO slotting to charged armor makes that 2.95%, which is a little over a quarter less the damage that your build takes for ranged/aoe, and a smidge less for melee. Of course, to an attack that is pure fire or something with no s/l component (pretty rare), your build is much stronger unless the softcapper leverages Power Surge effectively. Moot if you are using purple insps, but otherwise food for thought.

 

On a side note, it makes me sad to see 1k Cuts not taken 😞

Going for this now, which softcaps the S/L on it's own.

Made changes to the build to softcap on it's own to S/L.  Which also has me at 44.9% to Melee.

 

As for 1k cuts, never been a fan of the animation myself.  I also liked just going BF > Attack Vitals > Typhoon's Edge myself 🙂
