Heliopause Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 I have many small rooms and would like to merge them into one big room. Can you merge many separate base rooms into one huge room?
Erydanus Posted January 27, 2020 Posted January 27, 2020 You can add a ton of doorways to open up the space between them but it would probably be better to actually just swap in a larger room if the individual rooms aren't intricately detailed already. The space inbetween the original rooms will still count as doorways and may have lighting weirdness. Retired Community Rep Dacy Posted January 28, 2020 Retired Community Rep Posted January 28, 2020 No, you sadly cannot change anything about the rooms you start with other than their position , rotation, and whether or not the space in the room is filled in part or totally. For whatever reason, too, doorways no longer get the same look of fill as the rest of the base when you are building above, either, so if you have doorways, there will be gaps. This is one reason I suggest building over one big room; you can always build smaller, but you can't build between rooms with anything other than a huge piece that's anchored in a room, and you can't change the room size and still keep what's inside. -Dacy -Dacy Retired CR Active Base Advocate My base building tutorials are always available for you!
