I know alot of people have suggestions and there are probably a good amount that would be great. However, I Ran across this video recently and am wondering if servers can share codes so we can have this. Shouldn't be too hard right? This just looks to damn awesome. And I'm here on homecoming so don't want to change servers. Come on devs. Hook us up. Please.

As I've understood it, the developing team here is working on the back end stuff right now and they want to finish that before they start in on new content of this kind.

Personally, I was hoping for some kind of assault set incorporating the demon summoning whip animations.  Not sure how I feel about it being psi, though.

Yeah to mirror what Player2 said. The Homecoming team have been highly focused on Backend stuff, we've had the 64 bit client (which the other servers don't have, so it means that once 32 bit systems stop being supported the HC version of CoH will still run) and now we've got them disabling safemode. We've had a few new arcs, a now origin power pool and a lot of balancing.

While it can feel like things are taking forever and a tad sluggish at times (trust me, sometimes it can be painfully slow, the Tanker changes took a LONG time to come through) the back end work is needed so that the game has a future. Thankfully they didn't do their original plan of putting the Mastermind pet AI changes behind them sorting out Safemode (hooray!) but it does mean things like new powersets, new costume pieces and so on are currently on the backburner.

Also the other problem is the Homecoming team are the ONLY dev team working on the Issue 25 variant of the server. CoXg, Rebirth, We Have Cake and a few others are running on the Issue 24 variant of the server stuff. This means not only are there basically 4 dev teams all working and talking with each other (compared to our one), this means they can effectively brainstorm problems and then proliferate their ideas out to their servers but said updates cannot easily be applied to Homecoming. This also don't have the whole 'dealing with the backend' stuff to deal (which may be a problem with, as mentioned, 32 bit systems and games no longer being supported) with OR the problem of the fact they're currently in talks with NCsoft which basically means the Homecoming team are getting slowed down even further because legal in corporate moves at the speed of red tape if NCsoft isn't just giving them the eternal run around (since they can't talk about it, we don't know).

The pain of working through the back-end stuff is something that has to be faced sooner, or later, by ALL of the respective servers running out there.  Homecoming chose to do it sooner, to provide a stable platform, that will stand up to future OS changes/updates for many years to come.  They are dealing with the pain up front, rather than kicking that can down the road.  If Microsoft said they were abandoning the 32-bit platform tomorrow (not gonna happen, but hypothetically), Homecoming would be in great shape for that change.  Other servers would have to scramble, and probably be relegated to catering only to those that refused to upgrade, until such time as they could do similar work on their own client.  I'm not denigrating, or casting aspersions on the other servers out there.  They are doing good work on their own development tracks, and perhaps someday, some of that can be adapted for use here in some way.  However, when it comes to a choice of doing the hard stuff first, and saving the good stuff for later, when things are future-proofed to the extent possible; or having our dessert first, I choose the former.  I suspect a lot of others would too.  It's hard to have patience while they are out there doing the stuff that looks more fun.  But, it will all pay off in the long term, and that's the way I look at things these days.
