Elec/Dark/???

Lost on an epic for this gal. I just dinged 35 and realizing I don't really know what to do with her. My first thought is Earth Mastery (Rock Armour offers the highest defense value, Fissure is more control, and apparently Seismic Smash procs out beautifully), but I'm also liking the idea of Soul Mastery for Dark Consumption & Soul Drain, or Psi for World of Confusion (since I'm wanting to be up in melee anyway). Any thoughts on that dilemma, or the build in general? I've found slots are really hard to come by with this pairing. Thanks in advance!

Earth. Rock Armor with Fade makes it easy to cap Smash/Lethal without having to spend a lot of slots on set bonuses. You're in short range so Fissure's short range doesn't matter. Dark Consumption should be useless to you with Soul Absorption providing +Recharge. The only argument is Soul Drain, but I'd rather get the +Recharge from slotting Force Feedback in Fissure than the damage bonus, given that much of your damage is going to be coming from procs if you want more damage, not from having high-damage powers.

I would consider the Mu Pool for Power Sink, depending on your playstyle.

Well, almost. Mu lacks a single target blast so if you go this route you have to pick that up elsewhere, so it may be too tight a build for you. You also won't ever be a single target master.

 

But Power Sink is so much fun. You think you are a master sapper right now. No ma'am. Add Power Sink to the mix. Laugh as all 8 Elite Bosses in the ITF run around sqawking helplessly because you stole their endurance in the opening 2 seconds of the fight. Power Sink is PBAoE like you are looking for. It's also auto hit. Blue bars zapped in seconds(and your bar refills).

 

If you solo much at all, you'd likely have to pick up either Arcane Bolt or Project Will to do this, and it's true both have lower DPAs than the various single target blasts. It may not be worth it to you.

 

But fun? For sure.

 

(I also recommend it on Electric Dominators, and the upshot there is you don't need to worry about the lack of a single target blast).
