Blackshear Posted May 15 Posted May 15 (edited) Suggestion: Critter powers for AE I'd like to request that critter abilities like Brawl, Revolver, Baseball Bat, Knife, Rock, Molotov Cocktail, etc. be added to AE, along with critter versions of powers like Kick. These abilities could be offered in a framework simply called Critter Powers. The damage of these powers needs to be in line with their critter equivalents in regular game content. (That's the important bit.) These powers would be meant very low level AEs they would offer severely diminished XP after level 14. Up to about level 10, though, one melee and one ranged ability should still confer 100% XP in a minion level enemy. Also, the package should warn that these powers are meant for critters of a certain level or lower. As it stands, a critter who offers 100% XP in a very low level AE is often significantly more powerful than game critters of the same level. However, if one wishes to replicate a bunch of toughs in a bar for a rousing brawl, it'd be nice if they used a low damage Brawl instead of Street Justice's Initial Strike, which pairs good damage with a stun chance. And because they need a ranged and a melee power not to be capped at 40% XP, you have to give them Throwing Knife or Shuriken or something. Just the other night I watched a level 6 scrapper take about 25% of his health in one shot with the Throwing Knife power from a level 6 custom LT. (This preceded a TPK.) So if not this, how about mitigating the damage of custom critters in AE's under level 14 or so, to get it more in line with regular game critters? Edited May 15 by Blackshear 2
