damnimgood
I've read various things good and bad about Warshades. I read that they work better as human and not using the other form. I'm trying to decide. Opinions?
Cybot X-22
I'm a Triformer, although I find I spend most of my time as Human or Dwarf and a lesser margin as nova. Human form only is completely doable. You primary attacks are a little weak, but ok. It really gets good once you get your extracted essences and can nuke with Quasar imo. I would have to refer to one of the specialists around here though.
Microcosm
If you're looking for human form information, you might want to start here: I prefer to do triform, especially for leveling, and use an alternate build for a human focus or biform focus depending on what you want once you get to a higher level. I currently have a triform main build with a human alt build, but if we ever get toggle suppression that will change to a biform alt build. I would say at least try the forms as you level (they come fairly early) and see if you like them, as you can always respec out of them too. 1 Inspiration maker's guide
McJigg
Early in, you probably want to use nova form. I don't particularly enjoy nova form, but at low levels with no bonuses the extra accuracy (and damage) will make things so much smoother. Once you have some slotting, you can drop nova form, or just keep it for the flight. Dwarf is going to be your mez protection, and you can activate it while mezzed. Eventually, pure human more than doable, it's great! But your human toggles fall off in forms, not having the forms initially is 'extra hard mode'. If you go into dwarf, your shields fall off, so when you drop dwarf, you need to reactivate every toggle. So while leveling and using forms, the toggles are less good. I highly recommend you initially level with forms, then respec into human only. As soon as you can afford to slot up the human toggles. That's not to say you can't level human only, it's just a much longer road, and it's a much steeper uphill climb. Rerolling far too often, even by this game's standards. Dulahan
I"m apparently the weird difference in Triformers. I use Nova ALL THE TIME. Generall jump in, eclipse, double mire, quasar, and then nova for the rest of the time. As for human form. I'm doing that right now, it's very different feeling from being a triformer. So much I wouldn't recommend the talk above about leveling triform then going human at a respec. Learn the role. Maybe do some pseudo PLing like DFB and TFs with good teams. But still, it's not -that- bad.
