Buy Superior IOs/Purples with Merits

I'd like to have the option to buy SIOs will reward merits. It would allow solo players like myself the option to buy them through mission completions.

Is that an option now? I'm not at 50 yet so I can't see them in the vendor.

Unless im mistaken don't you just buy the normal non superior version of it and an Enhancement Catalyst to make the superior version?

I believe you can buy those (purple sets) at the merit vendor.  If i'm not mistaken, its 50 merits per recipe?  I don't think you can buy the straight enhancement.  Recipe only, maybe?  I can't login from work to verify....

it's 100 merits but yeah i think you have to be 50 for them to show up. And no you can't convert to them except from other purples. That was a bug on the live servers that only worked with confuse and was pretty quickly patched. I only had time to get about 15 :D
