Well thats a question of taste, I know some MMs that have none, some that are close, and some are capped on res and def. It all depends on what you're shooting for on your build. My GM killer demon/cold has no def just res, my necro/dark is soft capped, my Necro/Storm is just def. All are great builds and fun to play.
