jackalcoh Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 When you go to level up and mouse over the Vengeance power with the power details column enabled, notice how the power details in no way remotely even come close to matching the description of the power. Instead of giving you details about how it buffs the party upon a party member being downed, it instead just says "43 .79 heal on target". Which again does not even come close to the text at the bottom which describes how the power works.
Troo Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 need to read the text description (green text below) for accurate explanation. this will be the case for many powers. it may be annoying that the game does not readily give up all its secrets however there are methods in game that could provide the information. macskull Posted September 11, 2020 Posted September 11, 2020 This is because Vengeance does two things: Heals you and your allies Puts you and your allies into "vengeance" mode by granting a second power. It's that second power that provides the defense, tohit, damage, and mez resist/protection and makes Veng unable to be stacked - the Vengeance click power itself isn't what actually provides those buffs so that info doesn't show up in the power info window. Lots of weird stuff like that in this game. 1 "If you can read this, I've failed as a developer." -- Caretaker Proc information and chance calculator spreadsheet (last updated 15APR24) Player numbers graph (updated every 15 minutes) Graph readme @macskull/@Not Mac | Twitch | Youtube

But it doesn't say that. It doesn't say that in the green text at all. The green text says ABSOLUTELY NOTHING ABOUT HEALING ANYONE ... period. The details columns says absolutely nothing about anything that happens after you activate it "vengeance mode". So neither match... not even remotely. Also, if it were to heal (which again the green text says the word "heal" ZERO times) then who is it healing? The above "Target Type" is "Incapcitated Teammates". So who is it healing? It says, "heal on target"... so it mean it resurrects the downed player? Again - neither of these two match.... not even remotely.

macskull Posted September 13, 2020 Posted September 13, 2020 It also says it's an AoE with 255 target cap - the heal and other buffs are applied to all targets within the listed radius, even to the defeated leaguemate you activated the power from - but since they're defeated they can get any buffs except rezzes so nothing happens to them.
