RebornRose
One of the best things I saw during my time away was a "post your favorite comic panels and covers" thread over on the late Marvel Online boards. So, why not revive the tradition here. Just post your favoirte panels from comics. DC, Marvel, Image, whatever. Here are a couple of old favorites from Walt Simonson's incomparable run on Thor. The first one is the third freaking page of his run. Three pages in and you get this: This next one is probably my favorite Thor cover of all time. As a 6th grader who had read every book of Norse myths in the library of my school and town (so, that was 2), I was really pumped to see Thor take on Jormungandr. I've got tons more? How 'bout y'all? Coin
MIne is a little different. It's not from a classic tale, it's not from one of the all time, but I swear, when I saw this page from Super Sons, the moment that Damien and Jon think they got away with it all and then this happens, I laughed my ass off. 🙂 How many of us as kids know that feeling when we know that....uh oh....we're in trouble now 🙂
Dreamboat
Always really liked this page from Immortal Iron Fist #3, drawn by David Aja: Love that flow of movement, Aja is great for that sort of thing. Another example of his from Secret Avengers #18: And last but not least, one of my favourite ever instances of this, from #9 of the original Moon Knight solo series, art by Bill Sienkiewicz: 1 @Hissatsuman, you can mainly find me on Everlasting! RufusPentecost
I was just talking about The Private Eye in another thread, making me think of Marcos' Martin's fantastic art from that story. I love detective stories, especially the weird ones.
