Sovera Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Does anyone have a illusion/kin build laying around aiming for perma PA? I have this hankering to pull out my Green Lantern homage and realized that the 'constructs' would be a perfect fit. Plus I like the 'new' /kin where we can buff everyone at once instead of painstakingly doing it seven times in a row. I know in terms of solo play we're not helping PA with any of the /kin (SB, maybe?) but... - Simple guide for newcomers. - Money making included among other things. - Tanker Fire Armor: the Turtle, the Allrounder, the Dragon, and compilation of Fire Armor builds. - Tanker Stone Armor: beginner friendly (near) immortal Tanker for leveling/end-game and Stone Armor framework. - Brute Rad/Stone and compilation of Brute Stone Armor builds.
Sovera Posted May 28, 2019 Author Posted May 28, 2019 Since there was no reply I cobbled something up stealing from kin builds and then from illu builds (actually had to go look at an i21 Illu build since I couldn't find more recent). I have no clue as to the prices involved and if I couldn't optimize it more for defense. I also feel that i have a ton of accuracy and don't need to really fish for it as I have done in some powers. I did not addd incarnate stuff since I have no idea about that content. I merely aimed for perma PA which it becomes after two Speed Siphons. The 'chance for lethal' in Phantasm is to simulate the KB>KD IO that Pines does not have in the database. Power order is random and not the actual thing. Ringo Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 I just did a quick mod of my Ill/Traps, so powers and order and all that are not the best! Anyway, no purple sets in this build, but you could use those to up recharge even more. As it is, the build gives you 1 second of downtime on Hasten, and 3 seconds of downtime on Phantom Army. That's pretty close for (relatively) cheap. Hero Plan by Mids' Hero Designer 1.962 http://www.cohplanner.com/ Click this DataLink to open the build! Sovera Posted May 28, 2019 Author Posted May 28, 2019 You're a llife saver, Ringo. What of the incarnate stuff is useful for controllers? I can't seem to find it on Pines.
Ringo Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 There's buttons in the upper right. Middle bottom brings up the Incarnate screen. That's really about what your build plays like and what you think it should do better. No End all the time? Go Cardiac. Recharge? Agility. Etc. I think there's an Incarnate guide in the general guides forum!
Sovera Posted May 29, 2019 Author Posted May 29, 2019 The incarnate stuff on Pines does not appear to do a thing. I have PA at 62 seconds. Choose Agility Total Core Revamp (45% endurance, 33% recharge) or Spiritual Boost (33% recharge) and PA remains at 62 seconds. I may be missing some crucial detail... Edit: Discord helped me. Apparently the recharge we get from incarnates is subjected to ED. Which is weird if you ask me. Since I had PA at 108% already i just had it bumped to to 140% which, of course, had no effect in PA's recharge. It would warrant reslotting everything to take that into consideration though.
RiotAce Posted February 7, 2020 Posted February 7, 2020 Was wondering what your PA recharge is w/o siphon speed. I rolled one recently and dumped a bunch on purple sets for the 10% recharge. Purely a team build with no intention of ever soloing so I didn't worry about any defense/resist caps. I've gotten hasten at 3 secs and PA at 10 with one more set of Armageddon to slot. I might respec just to 5 slot brawl and set 5 hecatomb in there lol.
