Glass or "spectrum" parts for staff melee

Was poking at staff melee costume choices, and you know, it would be fun to be able to have a staff that was moderately-transparent. So, similar to the metal/glossy-metal, but transparent. And/or, alternatively, something like the Spectrum body parts. Possibly with a "wrapped" variant where there's some amount of material object between glowing ends. Just seems like this would fit some character concepts fairly well.

I would be more likely to switch from the pool cue to a glass staff. Count me in.
