  1. As do I, I just wish that we had a larger pool of those once we’re in the level 50 range. Perhaps a contact unlock to give us access to them all would be possible as a future update.
  2. Kheldians being able to shift into all forms without dropping toggles in human form makes this all worth it.
  3. Laugh when the people converting them start whinging when the time comes for more Incarnate abilities to be created. It’s more of a long-term thing.
  4. As we don’t have the 9+ years of Incarnate content that Paragon Studios would have given us without The Snap, It’s less a trophy and more a way to actually level Incarnates through content other than raids until you vomit.
  5. Worry not. Thumbs down have zero effect on your overall reputation (if you are even remotely concerned with that type of thing).
  6. As the more experienced will easily adapt to these changes, it’s the opinion of players like you that matter the most.
  7. Or. HC could periodically reset all Influence in the game to zero. All problems solved.
  8. That definitely needs to become some new Incarnate-level content.
  9. With these being capped at 100 merits (18-21 million), I’m curious who would purchase these for 50-80 million? Also, if Farming dried up, the market would likely be supplied by other players, since purples are not unique to AE and drop in high-level content.
  10. To be fair, had the game stayed active instead of closing, we would have had at least nine years of Incarnate content by now. Since we know that the Content team is definitely looking to add Incarnate content in the future, I’ll happily take the Vet levels at least until enough becomes active.
  11. If you think that the complaints are bad now, limit Incarnate progression to Trials/DA/A couple of mission options and watch the nuclear explosion that comes from that.
  12. The current game already allows for this with Veteran levels, it just won’t be an option if the “No Emp-Merit” option goes live (not a big loss, to be honest).
  13. There cannot be any conspiracy if the GMs mod even the Devs.😉
  14. Three from the same person in a Regen post, nine from the AE “discussion” thread and likely one or two in here from Excraft and some of the other AE lemmings after the above post.😂
  15. While I was never part of any hidden server, let’s break this down into a concept that (hopefully, but unlikely for the contrarians among us) anyone can understand. 1. Someone gets the source code for the game through clandestine means before shutdown. 2. someone decides to create a server with the game. 3. Knowing that the owner of said code disrupting this is highly likely, said someone invites people that they believe can keep a secret and reverse-engineers the game to figure out how it functions. 4. Once the game is functional and that same said someone decides to open it up to the public, they release the source-code into the Wild (not hoard it, not keep it to be the only source). This is the “Hail Hydra!” moment when the game can never truly die.😉 Everything that transpired over the last decade is the reason why we have both City of and the luxury of even having this discussion. At least try to fake a modicum of respect.
  16. While I can certainly see this as an alternative, a change of some kind is pretty much a bet the farm guarantee for Page Four. It’s either no AE XP post-50 or no more Empyrean/Merit conversions, take your pick.
  17. Let the Content team get the kinks out and there will be plenty to do in that regard.
  18. Architect Entertainment has the best time/reward ratio for mission content in the game and either rest of mission content needs to be brought up to par or AE needs to be brought down to that level. My opinion is as simple as that.
  19. Though it may not win him a peace prize, @UltraAlt covers it accurately in this thread:
  20. 1. Less farming (particularly AFK exploitation). 2. People playing the rest of the game content. 3. Metrics to see how much the reward rates in the rest of the game could use a boost (we all know they do, however, those pesky Devs like statistics, metrics and whatever other method of witchcraft makes these things happen). Less farming now, better game later. That gets my vote.
  21. I cannot help this one. He is too old. Yes, too old to complete the training. The flip game is the fastest way to earn influence and there are more than a couple of guides in these very forums showing how to do that. Getting rid of the Empyrean-Merit conversion won’t change that.
  22. I’m curious. When the Homecoming team decides to continue making more Incarnate abilities, yet you’ve used all of your Empyrean Merits in conversions to Merits (which can flow like water by simply playing content), what will you do then?
  23. Ah, the $25,000 Pyramid question. The answer is the original Devs never did get to a chance to implement anything like that before the game shuts down. The Homecoming Devs are working on it.😀 While I preferred the previous change, this change is completely acceptable, as now the best way to make those Tier Four Incarnates will be just enjoying the game, which is what this is all about in the first place.
