So I had an idea that I wanted to wormhole spawns into oil slick and set them on fire.

 

But Wormhole has a 90 second recharge, and Oil Slick is even longer at 180.

 

This would not do, but the idea persisted.

 

So I built a build with all the recharge I could muster.  All the recharge in the friggin' world!  I call it "Hyper Velocity".  It's probably gonna get the nickname of "Faceplant" or "Out of End" due to the nature of throwing out so much crowd control so quickly.  But hey, what the hell.

As you can see, Hasten is perma even with only its default slot (had to unupgrade Will of the Controller to get the 8.75% bonus instead of the 10%).  Wormhole has a 22 second recharge time, and Oil Slick is at 45 seconds.  Even GDF is under a minute now.  And that's before you cast an attack chain with Arcane Bolt, Propel, and Disruptor Blast that all have +recharge procs in them!

 

But I slotted brawl (with Hecatomb!).  I took all the procs out of Acid Arrow.  I have no defense and no resistances.  It's, frankly, a mess of a build and quite expensive.  But hey, I don't think it's ever been done before!

You are a man of taste! That sounds a lot like my Wormhole into TripMine plans I have for Grav/Traps.

 

Why do you pick Lift so late? I would switch positions with Crush. But I guess that is just personal preference.

Entangling Arrow has a root (-1000 mag KB) which interferes with Lift, so I took Crush to be able to use Entangling Arrow for containment.  Lift only got back in the build because I needed somewhere to grab another 7.5% recharge.

 

However - having run a couple DFBs now, once I got Arcane Bolt and Propel, I have a nice attack chain of Crush, Gravity Distortion, AB, and Propel, and completely stopped using Entangling Arrow.  So my bias against Lift may have been unfounded.

So I got this character to 48 back in 2019 and retired him.  Wormhole was usable but Oil Slick Arrow wasn't up fast enough to justify all of the crazy slotting choices I made to get recharge.

 

I'd have to look, but I think my final build got OSA to somewhere below 50 seconds.  

 

And then yesterday I (re)learned that Blaster - Tactical Arrow has OSA on a 90 second recharge.  And Fold Space exists now.

 

So, problem solved, I guess!

Interesting!  You've packed a lot of recharge and some survivability in there, nice work.  Even without Incarnates you've got 1-slotted Hasten Perma and Oil Slick Arrow down under 43 seconds.  My fastest (and not survivable at all) build is only slightly faster than that, ignoring the Force Feedback Procs:

It's not bad!  I could handle +3x8 without too much difficulty - kill speed was slow, but I was also experimenting with all the tools I had.  The Force Feedback proc in Wormhole is the true star of the show as it gets Oil Slick Arrow back in the rotation much sooner. 

 

Dimension shift was eh... not sure it's much more than a panic button.  I wanted to be able to Wormhole>OSA>Dimension Shift a spawn but OSA doesn't seem to kill fast enough if I'm not applying Distortion Arrow and Acid Arrow and I can't do that while outside the Dimension Shift bubble, so the mobs take a bunch of damage but more than a few of them are still standing once the bubble goes down.

 

Poison Gas Arrow was also pretty eh, but it does have that nice "chance for heal" proc one slot wonder in it and that was helpful to mitigate being hit.  It was my first choice for shifting slots to from Dimension Shift, but I'd lose the proc in order to slot a full Fortunata's Hypnosis, so I dunno.

 

Wormhole itself is underwhelming.  The teleport often misses, so it's generally just better to Wormhole a group right to where it is, making it just an AoE stun.  Fold Space is a better grouping tool by far, but I don't have room for three more power picks.

 

I think I might need to go back and add Crushing Field back in.  Wormhole>CF>OSA>Dimension Shift may actually be the better setup as CF will give Containment.  Dimension Shift is by no means necessary, but I really enjoy the idea of a bubble of DOOM.

 

I don't have the +pet Resist IO in Singularity in this build, and it does seem to make him more noticeably squishy.  However he recharges fairly fast and resummoning him is actually preferable to trying to drag him through a group of mobs to get him to engage where I want him.  So maybe not really a problem.
