Posting because its fun, i haven't seen a corr version yet and it doesn't die as often as i'd expect. Yes i know fender debuffs are superior but every time i play one i wish i'd made it a corr instead. Scourge for the win. Awful endurance. But fun.

I know Poison well. Water I have on a 36 Dec, but I'm still new to the set.

You have all the key Poison powers. I'd drop Antidote and take something else and put the slots elsewhere unless you really need it for muling something.  Plenty of people will say drop Elixir, but it's good for unique and it's always great to have a rez.

I am on my phone so I cant look at Mids but I only have 3 slots in envenom but you may be getting bonuses there I can't see. Ditto Antidote. But the build looks sound. Good thematic match too.

Oh, also put a 4th slot in health and get rid of Alkaloid. I used it all the time until I speccd out, but I dont miss it.

Your right antidote is purely there for the unbreakable set i could swap in a kinetic combat set in kick but i'd use that even less than antidote....probably. I don't think i've used antidote yet tbh either and i usually throw an ff+rech in kick in case i get hit with slows. Elixir is there for the same reason but at least thats semi useful.

One thing I found that was fun to play around with when I was learning how to manage my end with poison.

I liked to run the phantoms lore.  Tier 2 on the right gives you Adrenaline Boost twice in her life cycle and can’t take dmg. She’s fun to use as a meat shield that heals you from time to time.

I think i went the usual route of BP, alpha slot fixed end issues and dehydrate is part of the attack chain its a really fun combo. Low level content i run recovery serum and some empowerment buffs when i remember to pop into base and top them up. Phantoms are a good idea i'll have to look at those i haven't taken them on anything other than ill trolls since live when there wasn't many to choose from.

Here I am a year later, but recently tried a Water/Poison corr. Always felt I couldn't get the build "just right". Tried for soft cap range def but something seemed off in mids to me.

Was playing with some people who had some slotting suggestions for Steam Spray which I liked. I tried to fit it in my build, but I couldn't fit it without sacrificing some def.

Stumbled upon this and liked some of what you had put together, good job!

So, the final product (my original plan + some suggestions + your build here) is this:

I understand it isn't how everyone would put it together, but I come to find I really like it. Maybe it helps you, or others, with their Water/Poison toons.

Enjoy!

How is Steam Spray treating you? I respecced out of it because of the lack of synergy with Venomous Gas, didn't want to wrangle a cone.

Also I'm surprised to see people so few people taking the Dark Epic pool, layering on Oppressive Gloom with Venomous Gas really made getting in close more survivable for me.

Tanking is only half the battle. The other half...

Steam spray is one of my favourite powers in the water set but i find it limited when i play by jumping into the centre of the mob for venemous. Having s/l defences and all the - to hit poison provides i found it more survivable than a resist shield. I'd love to be able to open the build Kami but until i can get my mids to update i'm only able to input manually what i can see when the powers and sets are listed rather than just a data chunk. I'm on a poison/beam fender now and its debuffs are just ridiculous but i still think corr is the way to go and water is the best option, despite the fenders extra oomph in the debuff department i miss scourge and i feel like the corrs damage is significantly higher. But thats probably water over beam its so much more an aoe set. I do have  fire/dark/sonic/rad poison corrs and a poison/fire fender and a fire/poison troller. The water/poison corr is still coming out no. 1 despite its horrific single target animations and attack chain.

I see your reasoning.

For me, I like to lead with Tidal Forces (build up), Envenom, Geyser, and finish off with steam spray. Mix in the other AoEs there somewhere too. Then, I can use spring attack in my build to jump in at melee range after and finish them off pretty safely from there with Venomous Gas and Weaken to lower their to-hit and dmg which has been working fine.

So I thought about Oppressive Gloom, even Soul drain too, but there wasn't a necessity survivability-wise.
