That’s why you need to spend some time choosing a program that would do exactly what you need. Free editors usually don’t have many functions, and you need the one that would have all you might need. I mostly use a video editor for my personal goals. It’s rather simple, and you won’t have to waste time learning how to use it. At the same time, you can connect different videos there and add sound and other effects to create a beautiful final project. In my opinion it’s nearly the equal of Adobe Premiere and way better than Final Cut, both of which I use at work (I work at a TV station).
